  1. ya but thats unnecessary RAM being wasted LOOOL, and you think you won't waste that RAM in Runescape? How silly. Once again, this is impossible in Java + too many technical issues + we can use our own players. http://jupload.sourceforge.net/ http://www.javazoom.net/jlgui/jlgui.html http://www.javabeat.net/tips/36-file-up ... -java.html http://www.developer.com/java/other/article.php/2173111 Why don't you take that impossible and shove it up your... Edits : Hell, we dont even HAVE to upload it online. http://www.roseindia.net/java/example/j ... oURL.shtml Java can read the music files right from your computer. Do your research.
  2. It's not examine... kthxbi
  3. Why bother with examine when we can right click and hit examine anyway?
  4. Ecto, Void? Massive, Minigame? Might want to re-think the title a little bit >_>
  5. "Diango is now handing out rares for a limited time! Go to Draynor and see him for yours!" Disconnects you on talking.
  6. Took the words right out of my mouth... Metal person here however.
  7. Bronze arrows+ regular bow+ uber range def+ bunyip? Maybe even drink some brews to get range lvl down. Gf? Or just camp in unpopulated training spots. Barrows. XP, charms, and pvp time  Been there for 8 hours+
  8. Still wondering about how one would even go about doing that... You have access to the client, which holds model data and textures. You have access to the server, which allows integration of your models and textures. You also have access to Jagex cache files located on your computer, which again, hold model data and textures. So what CAN'T you do? Give it enough time, a big/skilled enough team, and the right programs, and you got Runescape 3.
  9. I think you would need a better range level, or else its just anti-cost effective. Work up to about 65-70. 70 is best.
  10. This. The only kind private servers I would deem "acceptable" (in this case, not pointless) are RSC ones. They're a popular alternative for the people who got screwed over with the 6 month log in thing. Then there are things such as old pking etc. like people have mentioned. What about the people who got screwed over with the whole free trade/PKing updates? Ones who joined right after? You mentioned it, but you played it out like missing RSC is an acceptable reason to break the rules. How is missing PKing not an acceptable reason to break the rules? If you want to include one thing, you have to include them all, because it all falls under the category of "I missed this because updates changed it" Private servers allow the creators to warp the game into what they think it should be like. Its not all about 2B GP and 99 stats, its about making your own version of runescape and being in charge. Something Im sure many of you would like to do. im guessing you have no idea what he meant? you could have started in 2001 and played to 2004, not sure about the dates, i know there was a way to transfer items and such in 2004, then later there was a bot orgy with which the 6 month login rule came. He is saying because he missed the RSC update he thinks the servers are acceptable for RSC emulation. Its the fact that "missing an update" deems a server acceptable to emulate what that update took away.
  11. Maple longs (u) are still good junk. They are actually going UP http://itemdb-rs.runescape.com/viewitem.ws?obj=62
  12. This pretty much smashes the argument to pieces.

  14. Harpoons are also used in summoning mind you. And I guess they are shutting it down. Junk is good with skills. Like maple longs/fletching. But that uses skills. There is no skill in buying something from a shop, let alone the pictorals not even having to move.
  15. Who plays runescape? We do. Who asks for updates? We do. Who are updates and changes made for? Us. Of course we will cause the downfall. We are the ones who play it!
  16. Not to mention the fact that the date is in the FUTURE. You people need to lay off him. Its a common thing for software to use dates, and I have a number of pieces that will actually function if I change the system date. If your to fake something, why would you fake the date at all, let alone AHEAD OF TIME.
  17. Without spacing, its 8 lines. Your a failure. You have over 1,100 posts and you go to a suggestion just to say its too long and you didn't read it, when its barely the length of a high school paragraph. I swear, Tip.It is going down the drain. OT : This is a great suggestion. I really like it, its very expandable, and I think it would be used if there was a decent benefit. Perhaps a respect system amongst NPCs. Extra things in quests if you show you have 'class'
  18. I like the booting idea. Im going to add this.
  19. This is exactly what happens. Jagex has said it has to do with their new (back then) system and is unfixable. (I think. Don't quote me)
  20. Ever on a themed world and you don't know what the best way to do the activity is? Or feel like talking with other people there, but don't want to get a group together to do it with? I propose a clan chat channel for every themed world. It wouldn't have a specific name, but more a button on the clan chat interface. Perhaps a tiny one at the top right, for "Themed worlds". Clicking this button would put you into a special clan channel with no name associated with it. (Basically made and owned by Jagex). It would allow accurate discussion/chat of the themed worlds. What happens if one fills up? It would place you in the next available one. There is a current limit of 100 people per channel. (Makes sense as any more and you couldn't read anything). The work around would that it would be a bank of 20 channels. (20 x 100 = 2000) And people were auto-assigned the next emptiest channel. (You won't ever be alone) As for moderation, I think that it would suit it best if all silver crowns and obviously all gold crowns had moderation rights on these channels. After all, that's what the moderators are there for? There would also be a system to boot users. It would be based off 10% of the chat channel. If this 10 percent was able to vote to boot a user, they would be kicked. (100 users, 10 have to vote boot. 50 users, 5 have to vote boot.) 10 users and below would require half the channel rounded up to vote, as the 10% would allow 1 user to boot. You would simply right click on the user in the clan chat pane and hit "Vote boot". There would be no public announcements of the vote. Each user can only vote once, and votes act as "tallys" and will stay for half an hour duration. When a user is booted they are banned from ANY chat channel linked to that world. Any criticism welcome. User Ideas [hide=Sees_All1 ]ever been in a chat with more than 50 people? Its hard to chat with everyone chatting at once. And as far as moderation goes, there's not enough mods to go around as it is. I'm not saying it isn't a bad idea, but moderation and booting spammers may be tough. What if, you had a "vote for boot" option, and to get someone booted from the chat. Limits for booting would be a minimum of 4 people, a scale of 10%, up to 10 people. So, if there's a chat of 100 people, and there's someone spamming @@@@@, and 10 people vote to boot the individual, they're kicked out. And if there's a chat of 6 people, and someone spams @@@@, 4 people must vote to boot the individual. Figure once someone is booted, jagex will get a report for offensive language.[/hide]
  21. Soul WARS Thats what wars usually are. Overwhelming your opponent with strength. I know there is a tactical advantage, but thats not possible with large amounts of people on the internet who are free to do what they want.
  22. Any method my duo partner and i had was just killed with this update right here. We cant EVER get an ls world, so bh was our one method of sharing bigger drops.RWT ruined it for everyone who was using it for the RIGHT reasons. I know ppl say its Jagex's game, they can do what they want. But who pays for them to have their site going? US. We SHOULD have some control and input of what happens. Its one thing for someone to complain that plays it for free, but we PAY TO PLAY. http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarti ... le_id=2082 According to Jagex, your just as bad as they are.
  23. Who said they had to announce people being banned? They don't make one every 100 macroers. Maybe every thousand, but there were only a few of those.
  24. Tanning dragonhides Forever
  25. Three posts and your coming here thinking you know exactly what Jagex is planning? You don't know anything. Until you work at Jagex, don't even think you know what the update will come back as.
