please keep religon out of this? it makes me feel uneasy to see this kind of a post, I'm not racist and talking only about chirstianity, but the good thing with runescape, is that you don't meet missionaries all over the place. Dunno if it's against the tip.it rules or not, but would you be as nice as to leave religious aspects out of your posts please? on topic: it's nice seeing someone do something "good". To create controversy and get everyone thinking; was it actually a good deed to keep this person in the dark not realising that few people are nice? did it make the person see the rs society more realistically? Not saying i stand for any of the ontopic things, but i feel it'd be nice for people to think about things so they could draw parallels to the real life. Is an overprotective mom a good thing?

the real reason for pures (atleast combat ones) are a fast way to earn cash. Loads of people always drop trade themselvs the things they get for their mains, or get people to trade them the cash. Pking without the fear of dieing is also a lot of fun :) The ultimate pure, if you ask me, is a main with pkable stats. you can then also pk, cabbage pick and do EVERYTHING at the cost of only one membership instead of having multiples for your different pures. Don't break the rules and you won't get banned, no need for a second main.

the only problem with the idea is that in a house barrage only hits 1 target, the one you select. good idea though :)

well, experiments used to be fastest. with the addition of waterbreath island the rock crabs there are faster xp since experiments are always crowded. go for slayer tasks or something with good drops tho. you'll regret training on rock crabs.

How about doing a fun way to train agil, rc, theiving or prayer? prayer could be shades of mort'ton ;)

Runescape is luckily not a game where everyone wants to achieve the same things. Why wouldn't i want 2.5k herb xp rather than prayer xp? What if i don't want a high combat lvl but want to be able to make my own super sets? I would personally say that you could use the points on whatever you want. For me alching is very tedious and i am sure i'll rather spend my time playing pest controll rather than alching. my xp per hour is just about the same too ;) atleast that's what i found out before te 10% bonus. i can wait 100 tickets before cashing in. it'll save me time too. no 100 clicks for me :) Who knows, those 100 clicks could be the clicks that gives me tendinitis in my right index finger :lol:

I'm 67 construction atm and have been doing the same. I didn't have precut logs so i cut noted oak logs and made larders. 101k xp an hour with oak LOGS!. I used all my oak logs and have 2.8k planks. i'll see if they last an hour ;) after all doing the above with a demon butler he's waiting on me so i know it could be done faster if i saved the time my demon butler uses to cut my oak logs. If you can beat that with oak logs, i'll eat my hat (it's a santa :P ). Here's the setup: Coins, noted logs or preferably planks, hammer and saw 24 inv spaces for logs You NEED a bellpull near your kitchen in case you mess up. Unnote logs. send to cutter. Get butler to unnote logs before using the planks you just got, keep him waiting while you build larders and repeat. I'll edit this message when i find out how much xp an hour i get with planks instead of logs ;)

This is very helpful! if you'd like to do more of these, i'd love to see one where you can see all the items for each type of build location and what materials you need. i hate running around my house trying to find out where i can build the best possible and what materials i'd need to do it.

first of all i'd really like to say i loved your guide. There is a part i think i might be able to contribute on tho. I was messing around with my cannon to try to find a good spot to cannon multiple ones at the same time. Even though it's crowded there a lot, being able to attack on on your own with range while your cannon circles to catch other fire giants for you, i had no trouble at all getting 2 at once, with a possible 3 when i was lucky with how far my cannon had already rotated. the best thing with the whole location is that your cannon fires 2 shots at the giant cought in the first spot, still hits the middle one, and even hits 2 shots and the rarer (but barely) third spot. that's 7 cannon shots in one rotation which is quite decent. both imageshack and tinypic were down, so i've only got a geocities link for you :S if interested in the image, we can work something out. EDIT: can't post the geocities link. i'll have to get the image for you once i can get either of the above are working for me again. any comments, hints, veiws, reasons why not to or anything at all? please private message me with it since it's a hassle keeping track of a load of topics.

Anyway, i was stupid enough to lure with a friend once. the money i made feels like blood money. Tricking out of someone for gp ain't what you wanna do. anyone with morals at all would understand that lieing and cheating have no place in runescape, or business at all.

this is what runescape is all about! friendship over greed. this is exactly the type of post i will bookmark and send a link to all my rs friends i chat to outside of the game. most of them will read it, and love it. Friendship sin't about getting, but about giving. However, someone has to be the reciever. both of you manage both skillfully it seems to me, so keep up the great work! I would easily give all my cash for a friend like one of you.

Thats what I was thinking. Same junk - new spells and armor. I hate to jump on the 'rsc days' bandwaggon... but I certinaly found it funny when people 'owned' me.. and got my robes. Then at the end of the day i had lost a good number of prayer robes... but I had several sets of rune. So who got owned? me getting killed 20+ times... or the people I made money off of after they failed to kill me that second or third time. That's called you protecting your rune swords and not risking anything while people who kill you risk around 200k, therefore I would call you the newb. if he manages to kill someone his level with worse gear, he's surely not the noob. if it's lvl 20 wildy, i would agree that it wouldn't be "fair". wilderness isn't fair though. you gotta risk stuff, that's the price you pay for good stats. Same goes for food, don't complain taht sharkes are expensive, use lobbies and risk your armour rather than sharkes.

this was a very nice and entertaining post! I liked how the gear you used in the first part was labelled. what did you use with the differnet prayer bonuses, and have you tried seeing if the holy wrenches affect prayer drain rates in any way? i'll read back soon :P

the age of single pking with ancients magicks is over. if you have your trusty teleblock, entangle and sara /guth/zammy strike you'll be as good as ancients, but they can't run. that's the thing. No one can single lvl 30 or less wildy with ancients any longer. everyone will run. There is one thing you can do to get more respect in wilderness, bring that extra valued stuff, and you WILL be rewarded with more kills. If they can't run, they cna't come back and "own" you. it will be best out of 1 like it used to. In teams you could have a tber and an ancienter still. That's most effective in multi wildy. Clues should be protected in wildy if you ask me. they should always be worth most. you can be on your final part of a clue with a final location to dig, and loose it all even when carrying only your sextant, spade and chart. Now that's a nice way to reward those doing clues ending up with bad rewards :roll: i'm guessing clues weren't meant to be profitable if you don't have a good timezone and are lucky.

I'm loving the lyrics and meoldies! i was reading lyrics to the midi files though. putfile doesn't work for me. Could you be so nice as to upload em all to fileshare too? i know several others having this problem, and they'd really all love to hear your silky soft voice singing them :) (i got a little carried away there but you get the idea i presume

I liked the story. it was good. However, i HATE the way these forums turn out. it's supposed to be discussion on what the articles are about, not if they're good or bad. I feel it'd be such an addition to have real discussion here... anyway.

adding a team soduko, chess and stakes up to 2k gp a game would make this place waaay more populated. You could even play against a computer (not to hard) and have top pay to play (small fee) so that you could win tickets. A training or theivign area nearby and tickets that trade for food... It's foolproof! might not be jagex proof tho :P they could ruin it all like usual.
