Gf Tk, was amazed by your pull and quite disappointed with ours. Not much we could have done against your numbers and levels, but you were certainly the better clan out there.

Going the "soft way" is only prolonging the problem and making it worse. The worst thing for a leader to do is to not take a stand and let clan members fight it out in the cc and on the forums. In the end the leader has to consider the principles the clan was founded on, and the feelings of the majority of the members, then give every member an ultimatum: My way or the highway.

I'm actually very satisfied with what jagex has done, aside from the lack of bh worlds for f2p. The Jagex Cup has been awsome so far and Corr (I think it was Corr :? ) even got to fight a mod. They certainly aren't ignoring us.

It's too bad that most people are ok with just the sample though, it's gotten to the point where a lot of people don't even know what you mean by "official clan".

I'd say the blame has to be on the Clan Wars mini-game itself. Now lots of people that would previously join a clan can just go to world 141 and cw for a day with no commitment. It's the one night stand of the Rs world. There's no point for people to be dedicated to one clan if they can just pick and choose a different one every day and dominate with huge clans.

Have you pked/warred with a clan in the old wilderness prior to the December Updates that removed the wilderness pvp? Yes Do you expect this to be successful? Please explain. It should be just as successful as pvp world were, it seems to me that either BW's or PvP worlds will become obsolete because there just aren't enough people to occupy both. Do you think they will/should add more BWs? No What's your overall opinion of the BW? Not of much use to clans because of the accidental crashing potential caused by targets.

I can't speak for other clans, but I would be very surprised if more than 50% of our members have been in the clan longer than a month. When we made our new site we went on a huge recruiting campaign and gained about 60 members in a month or so. And most of those people are first time clan members.

Couldn't make the war but I heard it was pretty one sided, Gj Rt. I guess thats what you get when you gain 50 new members and don't train them >.

Bottom line is that it should be your choice how much info your clan knows about you. Some people like to tell everyone their name and where they live, some people don't. As a clan leader he should be ashamed to have acted like that.

I really don't understand it at all, I would be really excited if I found out we were going to fight 'the'. The chances of us winning, no matter the kind of fight, are very small, but its still an awesome experience.

Lots of people have talked about the fact that you cant be a powerful clan without that bond of friendship holding you together. Personally I disagree, new members are drawn to clans for the power, they stay because of the community they find after they win the wars. And just to play the devil's advocate for a moment; what if there is a falling out between a clan leader and a well respected member of the clan, is there such a thing as too much community in the clans that break apart because of internal conflict?

I'd say that I take on two different roles in clan life, in the clan chat and on the forum I'm generally pretty light-hearted and I don't mind poking fun at anybody, its hard to find a serious conversation in the lgz chat. When it comes to wars, however, I try not to talk at all unless it's a pile call or other strategic information. It gets on my nerves when people are making jokes and speaking about non war related things during a war.

You cant criticize someone for trying to learn...The bottom line as to why clans just cant achieve that kind of orginization is that there is no significant accountability. If you fall out from a pile at the very very worst you get kicked from the clan, and tbh that doesnt even begin to compare to the kind of consequences of disobeying orders irl.

Seems to me you'd also have trouble getting recruits. One of the things that attracts people to clans is the chance to advance in prestige and become a respected member of a clan. The ranking system is a good way to recognize excellence in a clan, it's also invaluable when it comes to fall in leaders.

Quick prayer is nice, the time it takes is about the same but as people have said it helps to make sure you select the prayers you might forget like steel skin. What I want is a quick spell option, enabling you to cast binding spells quickly. Personally I have just enough lagg to make sure that i usually click the wrong spell in my hurry, and I feel like a quick spell would just make things easier without taking away any of the challenge.
