  1. Has anyone got any experience with film photography? I'm interested in picking up a used film camera off ebay and was wondering if there are anything thats noticeably different from digital?

    Canada

I don't like in Canada but a lot of these questions depend on where you want to move, just like any American city. Metric system is easy to learn, the currency holds about the same value as ours (theirs is slightly higher but not much), the people are about the same it just depends where you go really just like anywhere in the world. The weather of course is a bit chillier then the US (Think like Maine). You can survive in Canada without knowing french and I can only assume it's like living near the US-Mexican boarder where their is a strong spanish population, it only helps but isn't necessary to know the language.
  3. Pac-10 till the death of me. Calling it Pac-12 is still feels strange to me ha. Give me a season to get used to it, then I'll switch it! :P

    Food

My roommate made those a few months back, they taste amazing! If you ever have a chance also try deep fried oreos.
  5. I used to own like every wash Levis made of their 514s, great pair of jeans.
  6. It'll be interesting to see what happens, don't know if anything will come of it though.
  7. I've never looked at it, but I'm going to guess that that thread isn't an accurate representation of TIF. Of course it's not the most accurate as not everyone has posted pictures of themselves but it's the only proof of what the community looks.
  8. If you can get your hands on a rowing machine I'd also recommend it, but cycling is another great cardio activity, you just have to make sure you're challenging yourself.
  9. Moved to our 'Achievement' subforum as it's a better suit for your topic. ~Stevepole
  10. The CD came out today at 12AM Eastern/ 9PM Pacific via iTunes, it didn't leak. It's the first major production that hasn't leaked in knows how long, a true accomplishment. However knowing that you think it leaked, you should probably go and buy your own copy and support good music. (Physical copies of Watch The Throne go on sale Friday)
  11. But statistically it is more likely that they are, because gaming is a sedentary hobby, and non-gamers tend to have more active hobbies. When I wrote the post at the top of this page, there was nobody who had admitted to being overweight. In a largely US/Euro-centric community of gamers, that was highly improbable. I guess it would be fair to say tip.it's user base are not your average gamers. My only recommendation is to look through tip.it's real-life picture topic so you can see first hand what other users do look like.
  12. The assumption that all gamers are overweight has become a bad stereotype just like women don't play video games.
  13. My brother and I had bearded dragons but we had to give them away after 10 yrs because we had moved away to university.
  14. I'm in love with this backpack: http://shop.herschelsupply.com/shop/pop-quiz-233.html Hershel's a good brand too, my brother has one of their bags and if I was sill had use for a more tradition backpack I'd highly consider one of packs. The only downside to their recent popularity is the price of their products has increased some.
  15. I know this is quite late, but The Sun Also Rises is his defining work in my opinion. It's beautiful. I'm just about done with On the Road by Kerouac. It's good, but doesn't seem to have the profoundness I thought it would. The Sun Also Rises is the Hemingway novel I decided to pick up. I love it so far, been a bit busy moving though, so I haven't had time to finish it yet.
  16. Looks like a very nice bag, and reasonably priced too. http://www.manhattanportage.com/catalog/Backpacks/Big-Apple-Backpack/358

    Drinking/Drugs

My friend took salvia at his house the other week, he ended up not talking for over an hour and just smiling with his eyes closed. Turns out he thought he was a couch and when he was thinking if there were any coins lost inside him he went on a magical journey of adventure. Salvia only last for about ten minutes, but the things people envision are the funniest.

  20. I'm sure it's safe to say that despite the questioning of the technology it'll take to run the graphics of this nature, by the time the technology is standardized in gaming systems across the board the software will be in place to take full advantage of it.

    Drinking/Drugs

Sell the weed? Salvia isn't want it's cracked up to be. It's more fun watching people trip on it then being the one tripping. And acid like Adrenal said acid only stays in your system for a very short time. The drug that stays in your system the longest is weed, I believe.
