Congrats on 75 RC! :thumbsup: There are boosts to xp for Firemaking when you add logs to a bonfire, and to xp for cooking when done on a bonfire. Nothing game breaking, but even small amounts add up over 13M xp. :thumbup:

He's F2P. :wink: The yellow wizard gives more xp at higher levels. If you do keep finding him, you'll want to give him the highest level rune you're able to craft. You'll get more xp than just the one he asks for. Personally, I haven't been finding them though.

Maybe none of them were around when that beta was done. Now there's a scary thought, that some of us have been around longer than the staff. :P Still, it's the first time they've done beta testing specifically for a skill or group of skills. Perhaps that's what they mean by 'first beta test'.

Check out the link to the original article, the pictures of the plane are amazing. I can only imagine how exited the RAF Museum was when they were told about it. I've seen planes in the Aviation Museum here in Ottawa that aren't that well preserved. Hopefully they can find the remains of Ft Sgt Copping and give him a proper burial.

I think it's really great that they're opening this up to a player beta test before going live with it. :thumbup: Is it just me, or have they bringing in progressively better updates so far this year? Yes there's been the odd back step (SoF and Mark's bs response), but overall things have been getting better. They really seem to be working hard to make up for last year's descent into Hell.

Greetings loyal followers! Today I logged in on my lunch break to check out the new updates and claim my rewards for being a good citizen of Gielinor by having my email registered and verified. Not only did Diango give me an xp lamp and a nifty cape with a big wax seal on the back, but for my security-mindedness I have also been awarded with a title so that all may know my greatness. [spoiler= 'V' for 'very cool' ] You may now refer to me as "The Real" Kaida23. No, no. There's no need to get down on one knee in my awesome presence, merely bowing will suffice. :P I also haven't quite decided what I'm going to use the xp lamp on, so for now it's sitting safely in my bank. Yes, it's bankable. I was just as surprised as you are. Since I was in Draynor anyway, I decided to give the new bonfires a try. I have to say it's a pretty nice update; much easier than making lines of fires, but not quite as dramatically skill changing as RuneSpan was. Star X Ice (aka: Ilufyou) even stopped by when she was done mining and we cut and burned willow logs for a bit until I had to go back to work. As for Mining and my quest for the elusive 99, I'm down to only 15k xp so watch for an official party announcement in the next couple of days! :grin:
