It's the xp tracker. It shows up, and disappears, when you left click on the "XP" in the circle. If you right click on it and select setup you can track up to 3 skills. Most people leave the first tracker on overall (which is the default) and use the other two.

And all of our fighters are ground based CF-18's. Only in Canada. :lol: Meanwhile, back on topic...

I'm glad that they're trying to reach out to a new audience, but I'm not sure that ad is the way to do it. If I saw that ad and then looked at what the game is actually like, I'd be pretty put off and probably wouldn't play.

Just as an FYI, the Canadian military doesn't use the F-16. :wink: And now, more funny!

Is that why I can't switch to DirectX or software mode? I haven't been able to use either of them for months.

I think we're more lax about it because the major record labels and movie houses aren't pushing as hard here as they are in the US. After all, we only have about 1/10 the population and a fair percentage of that lives outside of the major centers so they're less likely to have broadband internet.

It is nice to go back and be nostalgic about how things were (Saradomin knows I go back and read how things were in my own blog from time to time) but things change and progress, it's the natural order. Personally, I certainly don't miss trying to hawk my wares in the Lumby courtyard. :P You just came back. Give it a chance before you give up on it again. :)

I always thought a "spanner" was more like a Crescent wrench (or any open ended wrench meant for hex nuts/bolts) instead of an Allen wrench. At 20 RC you're not going to be getting xp from them very consistently (that, and you can't access level 2 at 20 RC anyway). I'm level 57 and found firestorms give xp much more regularly.

I train Crafting at the end of floors as well. Maybe that's why I'm still doing 30+ minute C6 smalls. :P Honestly, I'd stick with RuneSpan for a bit. The nodes are spawning better now, but I have a feeling that they're going to "tweak" (read: nerf) them again before long. Better to get as much xp from them as you can now. Oh, and congrats on 65 RC! :thumbsup:

You know, you can buy the gauntlets, shield and coif in their uncharged state on the G.E., and then simply pay the recharge costs. Would only cost you 270k gp and 80 points instead of 650 points. Might save you a bit of time. Good luck with your midterm. :thumbup:

So I've been jumping on and getting 5k xp here and 10k xp there and before I realized it, I was down to less than 100k xp until 99! :shock: It's getting so close I can almost taste it. Now the question is do I just power through and have a nice big party, crappy FPS rates and all, or do I wait for Optimus and the frame rate fix they've been promising us? I'm kind of leaning towards just saying the heck with it and having the party anyway. Jagex is great at promising stuff they never seem to deliver on. <_< So now that I've reached the 100k mark, I'm off to gain another level in something else before pushing onward with the final leg of my journey. The road has been long and hard and often fraught with peril (or at least lengthy periods of inactivity and dust gathering :lol: ), but the end is nigh! Soon I shall have clawed my way to the pinnacle the mountain that is Mining. Soon all will bow before my awesomeness. Soon it shall be time for bed 'cause it's almost 1am! :P Considering how awesome RuneSpan is I'm thinking I'll be getting another RC level instead of a DG level. We have similar problems here in Canada. We have Netflix but with less content (thank you, regional licensing :wall: )and no access to Hulu (or most TV/Movie streaming from the US) at all.
