I could see the egg question confusing people (not everyone bakes), but there's no excuse to not know what animal bacon comes from or whether oats grow on trees. The question is where does the blame for this failure lie: with the schools or with the parents? Or is it a little of both? Apparently common knowledge isn't so common anymore. :wall:

Is it just me, or do the outfits those ghostly figures are wearing look like mage (t)/(g) robes but in black and red? Maybe part of the new content is new mage robes. Or is it just the red glow at their feet? Or have I simply gone cross-eyed at reading 27 pages of this at one go? :lol:

Well, yet another week has come and gone and yet another week was spent watching The X-Files instead of mining and I'm not entirely sure that's a bad thing. I'd been spending so much time mining that I was starting to get burnt out. But this weekend I made over 215k Xp like it was nothing (it took a little over 6 hours btw :shock: ). Maybe a break for a couple of days at a time is just what I need. I love Mining, frustrations and all, but I can't wait until I can stop worrying about xp/hour rates and searching for empty spots. It will be nice to just log in and go fishing or woodcutting (or just about anything semi-afk-able) and just be able to relax and talk to other players again. I'm hoping to keep up with an average of around 200k Xp a week so I can hit 99 by around April or May. Easter's at the beginning of April so unless I stop learning the truth about aliens and government conspiracies (did you know putting fluoride into the drinking water led to the Alaska earthquake of '64 and aliens are secretly using Jack in the Box restaurants to study us? :lol: ) or my gf starts getting more hours at work, I don't think I'm going to be making 99 by Easter. Maybe I'll be having my party on the long weekend in May and I can celebrate Victoria Day at the same time. :^_^: My G.E. merching continues to be successful, and I'm up over 36M now. :grin: I've also been promoted to Sergeant in my merching clan. :thumbsup: I'd like to say it's because of my mad skills, but truthfully our clan leader opened up about 15 new Sgt. positions a couple months back (but for some reason only 3 of them have been filled :huh: ) and anyone who's earned enough from merching since joining and passes the test can get promoted. Going to try for Lieutenant in a couple of months when I meet the qualifications. @3dskiller2003: Thanks for the support. Too bad about your ban. :( Hope your appeal goes through successfully. @nerdboyxxx: Hope you get 77 soon so you can get down into the LRC. I hear it's excellent! :thumbup:

I'm training Mining right now by powermining iron in Rimmington. I'm on my way to 99 with less than 4M xp to go, so I probably won't be doing the new skill right away. Nearly 200M? That's... that's INCREDIBLE to have in F2P! :blink: I myself haven't even hit the 1M mark yet, though my alt (Singha2002) already has 2M and full sara thanks to the party room. -_- 200M in F2P is incredible. Well done. =D> Personally, I've got about 34M with the long term goal of raising enough cash/rares to buy a White Partyhat. :grin:

Firstly, don't worry about your English as it is excellent. If you had not said anything I would not have been able to tell. As for your point, I think that all of us realize, on some level, that RuneScape will not last forever. Nothing does. However, if the content eventually does reach the point where the engine is no longer capable of running the updates, then Jagex may indeed bring forth RS3 and we will have content above level 99 (that will be something to see, eh?). As long as Jagex continues to be committed to, and have employees who play, RuneScape we will continue to have updates and content brought forth by people who care about making the game better as a whole and we will keep playing. Any ending point for RS will be many years off if Jagex continues with the pattern of success that got them here in the first place.

Isn't Construction the only one of those skills that requires you to spend money? How do the others show off wealth? MerchantInTheDark, I really like this idea and, once I had the funds to do so, would definitely buy one. Unlike partyhats, the price would be the same for everyone and you wouldn't have to pay through the nose to some greedy rare-hording SOB who wants to unload junk in order to get it (sorry 'bout that, but current phat trading frustrates me to no end :angry: ). I'm going to ask my merch cc about this and see what a larger group of merchants thinks. As for the cape, it could be bought from the Grand Exchange Tutor. The emote could be that you reach into a pouch on your belt and make a throwing motion up into the air repeatedly while gold pieces rain down around you into piles at your feet. Instead of a hood, it could come with a gold colored partyhat (gold, not yellow), perhaps even requiring another 99M to buy. Now, before you all get out your flamethrowers, hear me out. Doing this would kill two birds with one stone by being a massive cash sink and by lowering demand for high end rares (which are mostly used to buy phats anyway). This would really only affect merchers who deal in phats/easters/pumpinks/etc.. as I'm sure a lot of people who have only one phat have no intention of getting rid of it.
