Well, the leafs now have a 0.09% chance of making the playoffs (or in tip.it terms, they have about as much luck as having fun during the tet events).

The 'speed up' trick revolves arounds the game's dailies which reset every day at 0:01. If you set your ds clock to 23:59, then wait 2 mins, the game's dailies will reset, thus enabling access to them again. You can theoretically do this trick on any ds pkmn game, and it's a pretty nifty way to net max cash/all your game's swarm pkmn in under an hour.

I've already been more than up for sharing my 'speed up' trick that I've been using for years in all ds pkmn games, that is, if anyone is interested.

Well, april fools has hit my town, kinda. Apparently some of the kids in my neighborhood got arrested for getting 'too much into the spirit', which is codeword for putting sheets of paper over all the stopsigns, thus turning all the stopsigns into batman logos. Cops caught'm in the act, was funny as hell.

Well, my eelektros is done, I think. Trying to figure out which moves to use, rounded it down to either zap cannon/coil/acid spray/gastro or gastro/coil/crunch/wild charge. Last thing I really need to fix is my ferro-tank, and by fix, I mean level it up to lv70 and teach it gyro/curse/power whip. Oh, and I tested out that blissey I did yesterday, and the thing is a f'''ing tank. 375hp, and 150sp.def= near-flawless wall. Almost forgot to ask, does everyone know the time-reset bug in the pkmn versions? Because if not, then I'd be more than willing to share it.

And iirc, the leafs still have slim playoff hopes.

As a spinner though, it is actually pretty interesting. It's the only spinner with stab eq, and one of only 2 spinners with swords dance. Not to mention the fact that it is the fastest of all the spinners (with sandstorm active).

Even if carolina doesn't make it, he'll still need to play at least somewhat respectably. After all, we all know what happened to pavelec during his rookie season. He had outstanding numbers during the first 60 games, then botched it horribly during the last 22 and missed out on the award.

If you want an interesting spinner, then baloon excadrill could be one. Just build it like a normal swords dance set, taking out one of the atk moves for spin. Metang wasn't all luck btw, as I always keep an adamant synchro in the lead of my party...lol

Well, to be fair, the tympole was a part of my breeding attempts for that doubles team. As for the tangela, I found it while ev-training my ferroseed (fyi: you can egg-move one with leech/worry seed by breeding it with a cherrim). Current team is 2/4 complete, will be 3/4 once I figure out when eel learns gastro acid. Oh, and while posting this message, ran into my 5th shiny in the past 2 days. True, but in all reality, any decent goaltender could've done the same thing. Last year chicago won the cup all the while using 2 goalies with cruddy stats. Mind you, if he does get rookie of the year, then expect him to win the vezina the following year (as 8 of the last 9 rookie goalies have done so going all the way back to 84). I guess it really all comes down to how far chicago makes it in the playoffs. Anything past the 2nd round and he's won it.

You're torn? I'm pretty sure skinner has it locked up. Crawford may be good, but rookie-goalie wise, the only true way he could've won is if he had the same breakout year as neuvirth/varlamov. Oh, and without hiller, the ducks are doomed. Hiller's been the best goalie in anaheim for the past 3 years, and emery, while good in his own right, has never really shined in the playoffs. That, and hiller brings an odd sense of leadership to a team full of leaders.

Star, I agree with that. I got into a thorough debate regarding the leafs in a thread, was winning the debate, and just as I hit that peak, had the losing side call me a troll for no reason. Same thing with h&a as well, seems that every time I even post a comment there, it's 'hey four, you're a troll', or 'fourskinking, nice name troll!'. Best possible update: make a 18+ section of the forums for people who don't wanna deal with this.

Another annoying thing: people who assume that they're not racist/prejudiced because they have a friend who is that race/type (ie: you're talking to a friend, they make a racist joke, then they say 'hey, I'm not racist, my friend is ____').

Mmhmm...it's been 'retro gaming month' ever since nintendo power more or less made it official in 2002. They did a 36 page article about it, and since then, it's kinda been tradition (at least for me). Either way, april still feels kinda like 'retro zelda month' for me, seeing as every year during that month I've played/beaten the first 8 zelda games.

@haruko: join the pkmn thread, you'll enjoy the info/tips we share (that and I already have 6 guides exclusively for gen 5). Oh, and because april is 'retro-gaming month', I decided to bring out my n64/gbc early. Currently playing zelda: oracle of seasons.
