Truth. My brother, also a county deputy has a Business degree. Worked at a bank and then decided he wanted to work as a police officer. Hired. A degree is a degree, however i really like the Criminal Justice field. I get to learn a little more in depth into the laws and how the system works by going to school for it.

Ah idk, just trying to pimp it out more. Having to order a new Mobo made me order 4GB more RAM though....8GB Ram now...cant wait to test it out. I have a Rhino already from preorder, but i do want a horse. I think at level 37 i am just at like 15-20 SILVER...LOL. Those updates sound great, can't wait.

I did something [developmentally delayed]ed. Messing with my comp i seem to of fried the Mobo. New one is ordered but i can't get on AoC for a few days! Ugh i hate it! I need to ding 40! Nadril, is it any easier to get money at 40+? 1 silver in this game = 1 gold in WoW. Crazy tough.

Dogs + Service people, It happens more then most people know over there, as unfortunate as it is. But i refuse to go into that publically. I agree with the Marine Corps, glad it was dealt with. Getting a Dishonorable and being seperated from the organization you dedicated your life to will hurt anyone in that situation. It just sucks for the rest of us, a black eye for the Corps.

Just looked it up. He was 10. Early enough age to know about guns and gun saftey as well as how to fire one. I'll put most of the blame on the parents though for leaving a loaded shotgun out in the open withen reach of a 10 year old. Even in an emergency, its not hard to load the gun. Leave it unloaded with the safety on. Or better yet LOCKED UP! Figures, it was in South Carolina.

I missed this. How old was the kid? Seeing as how he knew how to use the gun, sure its partly his fault. Blame the parents as well. Only BBQ Chips are worth shooting over. ;)

I just got hired on, and currently work as a Deputy Sheriff here in South Carolina as my other job. I love the job, always interesting. You meet a lot of interesting people, maybe not people you want to associate with but its the nature of the job to come across them. Salary sucks yes, but the job makes up for it in my mind. Helping people out, as corny as it sounds, just makes you feel good. Like everyone else you have to put time in to move up. So to get jobs like K9, SWAT, Narc, etc you have to work up from the courts, then the road, etc. At least its like that here. My dream has always been to work SRT/SWAT and thats a goal of mine. I'd also love to work K9. Its always been a choice of State or County for me, chose county because they pay more and their hours are better for a "normal" lifestyle. I've wanted no other job (Other then being a Marine). And part of me becoming a Marine was to get Military experience for this line of work. I currently don't even hold a Criminal Justice degree, though i am in school for it right now. Its a great rewarding job IMO. Knowing you take guns and drugs off the streets every day and do your small part to make things better is rewarding. Not every police officer is the stuck up fat pissed off cop that writes everyone a ticket, they are just always looked at that way. I get a lot from friends like "You're a buddy [bleep]er. How does it feel to screw people over." "Great" i say, "If they weren't doing something illegal in the first place they wouldn't of had to screw themselves." I encourage anyone intrested in it to check it out. Theres tons of stuff you can do with a Criminal Justice degree. Most importantly GET YOUR DEGREE. Your salary goes up with the amount of experience you have and a 4 year degree holder makes quite a bit more then someone who doesn't have one or only has a 2 year. Get your degree even if its not in the minimum requirements.

CPU: Q6600 Inteel Quad Core Power Supply: Corsair 650w Graphics Card: NVIDIA EVGA GeForce 8800GT RAM: 2x2GB (4GB total) GSkill PC6400 DDR2 Mobo: GIGABYTE P35 DS3L HDD: Seagate 500GB Case: Thermaltake Armor OS: Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit Optical Drive: Samsung something or other. DVD/RW drive. My computer runs like a DREAM. It feels great and looks great. I run Age of Conan (the newest hardware hungry game out there) on high detail everything at max and i have no problems. I had a few bumps in installation and setup but being my first build it went smooth. Word of advice, try and get retail everything, OEM is cheaper, but you don't always get the manuels or CD Driver discs with the product and thats the snag i hit. Retail versions can save you headaches. Oh yeah and i will be getting an additional 4GB RAM tomorrow. I'll be rocking 8GB.

Any budget? I'd look into upgrading your RAM personally, it will help the gameplay. With those games you can really only squeeze so much graphics wise out of them. They are not very complex games like WoW or Age of Conan. Maybe its a personal preference but i'd update the RAM first. It will help your computer and games run a lot smoother. If you are going to be looking into any newer games you are going to need RAM anyway. I like my NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT graphics card, flawless performance with high end games, may be a bit overkill for what you want to do but its defiently a good card.

Update! I sold pretty much everything else. About 1mil off from hitting 20-21mil so i might buy another Santa or multipule ranger sets. I'm not sure i support this current war fully myself, but i do support this country 100%, and if i am needed i will do what i have to do. I mainly support the troops, and this way i'll have a direct effect on their support. Thanks everyone. I leave Sunday night! :ohnoes: :thumbsup:

Thanks everyone! Limeriley, good to know i'll probably have some time. I'll be in MCT instead of ITB. I'm going 04xx not 03xx. Should be at Lejeune in November if all goes well! Only 2 reasons i like the rares. I saw them drop in game (I'm an oldy), and they make me money just sitting on them when i can't be using one of my skills or activly merchanting. I do plan on buying 1-2 more Ranger sets though i think. Or another Santa if i can get enough cash. Thanks again everyone! More comments welcome!

Thanks everyone! I figured it'd be worth more later to invest in some rares rather then just let 48m cash to sit in my bank. Bank really isn't all that much but hopefully it will be when i return. :thumbsup:

I'll will be leaving in 11 days to join the United States Marines. Thus, i must give up Runescape...at least for a while. I have sold all i could, or wanted to...to invest in some more rares so i could sit on them for a while, while i was gone. My first rare came on Halloween when they dropped the masks. Had it ever since. And i've just aquired 2 Santa hats and a Robin set (hat/boots). Let me know what you think. I think its turned out pretty well. Hopefully i'll find time later on down the road to play like i used to. (Psst. Stuff at the bottem of the bank IS for sale. Like the bows/logs/flax/etc) ;)

But the legs arn't 100% correct? So no garuntee you will get 25 in 25 kills. But good idea for sure. Might have to go try it out myself sometime.
