  1. Gotta admit, i'm a huge fan of theoatmeal. And it's true, LOTS of people need help with english, but I don't think it's targeted towards the non-english speakers - some of the dumbest sounding people who post - are from America and other English countries.
  2. Not to mention that Male/Male rape is never reported hardly same goes for Females raping males (it can happen) and female/female rape. In the case of a Male raping a female, if it's reported, theres going to be some policework involved and it really does depend on he said / she said and i've seen it work both ways in the USA. Say what you want about it being the othercase, women have the upper hand on men in most discrimination, harassment and rape situations. It sure doesn't look like that. Holy crap did you seriously just bring the biggest joke of a new-station into a rape argument for some sort of justification of Zionism? Although the white woman accusing the black of rape (the majority of the bad 50s rape cases) has pretty much dwindled - rape happens often and does get reported and dudes do go to jail over it. The same thing could of happened in any other country, the Media is simply playing the race for sensationalism hoping to stir antisemitic angst. It's a poor court case discussion, to think that it has some bearing on Israels view as a whole is bluntly insanity at it's finest. This has nothing to do with Zionism, Israel or whatever.
  3. Women can easily lie and change minds on "rape". Happens often with sports stars to where the line gets blurred. The Scottsboro Boys Trial stands out. 1931, 2 white women claimed 9 blacks raped them on a train. One woman - admitted to lying later about being raped and still the men rotted in jail for years afterwords As much as some idiots say it's "Israels" fault - you do realize that in America if you have sex, she decides that it's rape the next day - all you have is your word vs her's - and the DNA evidence that you were inside of her - and if you like it rough - you probably just lost your case. Rape has varying definitions worldwide - In Brazil (unlike usa,uk,Israel) - Anal rape is not the same degree of punishment as vaginal rape. But even if it started out consensual legally there is also this. "Consent can always be withdrawn at any time, so that any further sexual activity after the withdrawal of consent constitutes rape." You don't have to physically assault someone for it to be rape. In all seriousness and poking a bit of fun at the subject matter, let's pretend the woman was a Kosher Jew, and the Palestinian used some Bacon Lube knowing she was Kosher, because he got off on the fact that it's against her religion - Being a pork product, he violated her by using without her consent or knowledge with a pork based lube and that could technically be considered rape because he used a foreign object she did not condone inside of her. A study from the UK found that of the approximately 14,500 cases of rape reported in 2005/2006 9% were classified as false allegations ^ Cybulska B (July 2007). "Sexual assault: key issues". what makes me not collectable? :O

  5. Dude, i've seen countless it was consensual then it's rape cases in America, let alone Israel. the only reason it made the news was because of the silly racial aspects, this happens white on white, black on black usa often and never leaves local news.

    Antivirus

i think it's grossly understated at "poor detection" most sample set's and trials do not have AVG more at 3-7% behind Avira. It still out-preforms many of the paid ones like Norton, Mcafee and trend and imo , deserves a mention. Avira also nags you daily to pay, annoys the piss out of me.

    Antivirus

Never tried the new version of Avast, so I won't say anything about it, but AVG is a very bad antivirus. Based on? It was proven to block Aurora exploits and has a decent batting average agaisnt the fake anti-virus's floating around - For a free download, it's far from "very bad" Imo.
  8. i said I like pvp, I never in no way insinuated it was better. At the core of it, you still have a java game, that does nothing for you in real life, but waste time, which is fine, some people have more time to waste. I've lead clans, i've skilled, and i've done quests, and think it's sheer stupidity to say one of these is better than the other. It's a game that will never have an ending, no two people will play it the same, people will feel how they want to feel, life goes on. Thats nice, I've owned the quest cape since it's inception aside from when i'm too lazy to care to own it - again - a smattering of skill capes (combat and noncombat) and got enough pvp screenshots to make this thread load slowly for broadband. At the end of the day, PVP/SKILLS/Quests all provide timewastes for different types of people and are no more "important" or "mission critical" than the other aspects of the game. No matter which road you take, this game never ends.
  9. You probably mean for you this game has no purpose of direction through questing. Nope, the game has no clear cohesive storyline, the stories often add next to nothing to effect gameplay or the world . Storylines that might be important, stay open for so dang long any possible interest in them dwindles. Quests are no more important than skilling, no more less important, both are an equal time waste that are no more correct than the other. The skills vs quests debate is trite and rather pointless. I fail to see how people swear by quests being so great and entertaining moreso than watching paint dry or ceiling fan blades spinning, I can count the quests i've enjoyed on two hands, and considering the amount of quests, thats sad. I prefer PVP over skilling or questing, but the fact is, questing is nothing more than a slightly more complicated (depending on the quest) distraction and diversion.
  10. I still think this game has no purpose or direction through questing.
  11. Oh no, it's a jaded old timer! No offense to those who are all "rawr, quests are awesome" - Quests on Runescape suck. I've played alot of console games and own my fair share and I don't see what you're so adamantly defending. For starters 1) The quest lines in runescape, can take ages to advance story, look at camel romance, it's been unfinished for years. How many years will we wait to see more about the dragonkin in why guthix sleeps cutscene? when they come out will anyone care? It's hard to keep excitement for that 2) Do they even contribute to the story? For every WGS, or Within the light you have a One Small Favour - a quest that advances nothing, it's hard to argue that quests are main contributors to the storyline as we both know, you can't beat the game. The game will never end, the story will never finsh - thus - the storyline advancing is kind of....pointless really. What really changed after fairtale 1 and 3? the orks came and gone, but the place remained fairly the same before it was invaded and after. Oh yeah, it was under siege for well over a year? Secondly, Quests are pretty much the same as training. Click Click Read, read - Very few quests can legitimately challenge a player to where they pose any real risk - and even those that can be tough (Nomad and the wise old man new one) You have 0% chance to lose any items (well, maybe if you get D/C) - So no real risk there either. Nothing more than a "distraction and diversion" really.

  15. I saw this thread, read the report, sit and wondered...Should I lock it for being off topic with the history debate? the racial remarks? the flaming? So many choices, so little time, So I decided to just lock it. It's kind of ironic a thread about locking topics and everything got locked, but as ironic as it is, this discussion has spiraled into the abyss and it's not really salavageable imo, PM me if you disagree ~Das

You best seducing women and drinking whereever you are sir.

  17. This is the demographic most companies care about.
  18. *pops some popcorn* This is going to get good.
  19. Enough of speculation on who the vandals are or are not. I've seen some pretty horrible things said on drawball, especially about romy, And i'm pretty sure she doesn't care, because she asked me why I do. (Because she's awesome and It pisses me off to see people attack someone they dont know, especially when they are so bloody awesome). People have wrote things about me, pretended to be me, whatever, because I really don't give a damn about what someone says about me on a giant game of MS Paint. Anyways, Run4runes is correct, we DO NOT ban people for off site matters, The moment an idiot brags on this forum that he slanders members on drawball, we'll talk, until then, sadly nothing can be done about it. it's unprofessional to ban for something not on the site and isn't covered in the rules. Although I know who the Lime Green Vandal was, He admitted he only drew green lines and never insulted anyone, thus it's all in good trolllollollol fun People will always do dumb things, and i'm not too bothered by it, I look upon Drawball and instead of focusing on the hate and the idiots, I see a community thats drawing itself closer together, a community thats developing new friendships and getting stronger, the vandals may think they are wearing us down or showing us up, or frustrating us, but in reality all they are doing is making us stronger, more closer and a better community than we were before. Perhaps we should give thanks to the vandals for being idiots, and bringing us together! Highly doubt it mate, i'd never let it happen :P
  20. While perhaps it's unethical and immoral, no laws exist to keep you from accessing public domain material, or enforce/regulate it's proper usage, infact it's similar to websites like how peopleofwalmart are ran - If you go out in public with your 1970s pajamas and a multi colored sweater from the 1960s and end up as an internet meme , you have no legal grounds because you were in a public place and lose your right to privacy. Some facebook lawsuits were filed where a friend takes the picture of you drinking a beer underage or doing something bad you don't want people to see - nothing can be done - in usa as far as i am aware, the person who takes the picture - owns the copyright for it. Often when you upload a picture to myspace/facebook/photobucket (Depending on the sites TOS) You forfeit a great deal of your ownership in the piece. As soon as you send the image to a friend, you lose the rights to it to a degree. Been cases where facebook advertising used your friends pictures for advertisements, people sued, cases did not win at all. . Child porn is a major Felony and a horrible comparison, and for the most part is only deeply cracked down on in USA, UK and a few other countries like China, places like Russia or Japan - don't care as much if it all. (Lolicon is legal in japan and over 50% of manga produced in japan yet you can get arrested for it in USA, while it's pending criminalization in the UK (currently legal) - 3 major countries cannot agree on what constitutes child porn and art, you think they will on harrasment? Lets not even get into countries like India, China or Iran that filter internet and make it a crime to do common things like blog about current events. India = Homemade porn is 2 years jail, America = Nothing as long as everyone is of age. Worldwide laws will NEVER happen and are NOT practical. http://www.japanator.com/elephant/post.phtml?pk=8753 harassment isn't a felony like Child pornography, as it is currently a misdemeanor. Which means jailtime isn't always even associated with being convicted of it. 45 Days in America I believe, the problem is more often then not the government is over-reached and to my knowledge, law requires a court order here, and that takes time. I've never heard of any "quick law" cases involving an ISP and law enforcement, and I do have a working knowledge of law enforcement and lawsuit proceedings dealing with getting information from ISP's due to the nature of my job.
  21. I'm hoping your a law major or practice law, cause i'd love a good legal debate. For starters unless I am mistaken in facebook court cases recently the law has been ruling in favor of the people who access the information. If you upload a picture of you doing drugs/drinking underage - cops can arrest you for it because it's public information. Angry people who said face-book albums were private have already had cases dismissed. Using public information and posting it - isn't illegal. Please show me the laws where it is. For starters 4chan would have to give the IP up, they are not required to do so by law unless it's subpoenad by the goverment - The ISP also protects the customer in that right, so you would need at least 2 to get action - those takes weeks to get - And believe it or not, That information isn't available at the drop of a hat. Most ISP's use dynamic ips (albiet some are more sticky with longer expirations) - but all it takes is a modem power cycle (for high speed) and or reconnecting (for dial up) and you now have hours of logs to sift through . ISP's are not required by federal law to keep that information on hold very long in the grand scheme of things. Heh, You seem to be misguided, for starters, no one goverment controls the internet and secondly, you ironically hit the nail on the head - You post your private info on the internet elsewhere - and even if you didn't intend for this forum to see it - it's now public information.
  22. so i've been told someone is now trolling in my name *Facepalm*
