Those two statements contradict each other. First off, no need to flame my topic... No they do not. Well rounded was referring to Melee / Ranged / Magic / Prayer, ect. Well-rounded melee = even melee stats...just saying.... OT: In the "new" PVP environment, defense is a must.

I was browsing the General guides section when an Authentication window slid out of my browser - it wasn't a pop-up. Anyone else get this? Something about upgrading and "earthbound". It asked for a username a password, and told me to "come back in a few hours." Is this the forum upgrade, or some kind of weird sneak-attack? :P EDIT: GOT A PIC!

Those are fantastic! I've been meaning to train summoning lately. EDIT: I'm not much of a quester, but I know they are from Ictharin's Little Helper/Dealing with Scabaras, right? I can't find Scarabite in the tip.it bestiary, but I could find scarabs that don't have any drops.

Well, in the calculations, "n" was replaced with 75 to complete the equation. At lvl n for all n > 70, one can get up to 260(n/99)^1.1 xp/red chin, and 340K(n/99)^1.1 xp/hr, divided by 3/4 for grey chins. So, for any level greater than 70, the max xp is 260 per chin, at level 99. To find that at any given level, insert your level for n. You divide n by 99, then do that to the power of 1.1, and then multiply by 260 to find xp per red chin. For greys, you divide that number by 3/4. I found this formula in the AOW guide found here. I don't know that I would have enough for GWD, maybe I'll get to 90, do aviansies, and then GWD? It'd cost me ~13.6m to get to 90 Ranged with Grey Chins. Getting to 90 Ranged and then doing aviansies is the better option for me, since I'll get faster kills at 90 than lower levels, plus I already have the money I need for it.

I think that it's more of a sign of good will from Jagex; that they'd let some players be The Law. This way, their regular mods can focus on other, more important things. Just a guess though.

+1! I'm close to 100% P2P, but I understand what you mean. The part I put in bold is what I'm afraid of for most F2P'ers. Or, you could try P2P for a month or two.

Good advice, except that one might argue that combination runes are only good UNTIL 75, when good xp starts being a possibility at ZMI. Thank you very much. I had the idea of getting the ZGS and Barrowing with it, is that a good idea?

So I reached my goal of 35m gp. I was planning on using it to chin 99 ranged; however, I heard that it costs 50m+. So, what else can I do? My ideas are: *Combination runes (would need to raise magic; do I have enough to get 91 rc with steam runes?) *99 smithing w/ SC hammers *99 Magic *99 Farming? Maybe? Thanks in advance.

Hey tip.it! I am attempting 91 RuneCrafting as a long-term goal. Currently I'm at 59 or so. Here are some options I've read: 1: From 59: abyss double Cosmics to 70 (sounds slow) Then from 70-91: ZMI altar. (I have Lunar Magics, but last time I tried ZMI, I got low exp) 2: Abyss Laws -> Abyss Deaths -> Abyss bloods? ->91 I have about 11m to blow on this if it'll help speed up the time training any significant amount.
