JAMjE
There are many boss monsters in Rs which are extremely hard to kill! But with difficulty, comes great rewards, but do you think the drops are too good compared to the easyness of the kill? Or do you think the drops aren't good enough compared to the difficulty of the kill? Obviously different monsters will give different results so make sure to say which monster your talking about. Personally I think the corporal beast gives good drops, but not good enough compared to the risk involved. null and void
sadukar123
Remove the god damn Adamant platebodies from GWD bosses. Seriously what the *Expletive* Bandos+Saradomin are probably the most balanced in cash/risk. Armadyl and Zamorak are pathetic, especially Zamorak. Only thing that redeems Armadyl is it's hilt and armour drops. Drops: Misc: Abyssal Whip x28 , Dark Bow x5, Beserker Ring x3, Warrior ring x1 Dragon: Dragon Platelegs x2 , Dragon Plateskirt x2, Dragon Boots x38, Dragon Med Helm x4, Shield left half x3 Godwars: Godsword shard x13, Bandos Hilt x3, Bandos Chestplate x6, Bandos Tassets x4, Bandos Boots x5, Saradomin Sword x1, Zamorakian Spear x1,. Owned_Nex
Actually, the opposite is true. All bosses are easy to kill if you know what you are doing or have a good team. Dungeoneering isn't a skill. llamster
Eh? Are we supposed to debate whether or not bosses are worth killing? 1m+ an hour ain't enough for you? And since when was CB risky? Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

Maybe an achievement diary entry, a title, or a 100% drop rate item to put in your house. Boss kills shouldn't just be about the items, they should also be about the glory of having downed the Cabbage!

Inuashakent
Bosses in RS are way too easy. I would want Jagex to buff all GWD dungeon monsters... I mean in GWD, the difficulty isn't killing the boss at all. It's finding a world. I wouldn't call it 1m an hour when I would get like a 2.4m split every 2 trips (total of 7-8hrs) at bandos. 12pure34
I Played world of warcraft (don't burn me down for this.. I quited :P) Every boss in this game is a piece of cake, that I don't even bother with it anymore. Last day I went to the corporal beast and I expected far more from it. It is just a hard-hitting boss which doesn't go down fast. Absolutely no challenge in that. Even with a team, you still are soloing, because w/e your team does, does not affect you in any way. Only exception for this is hybrid depending on Magers at DK's. The only challenge in boss-monsters I could think of was Saramodin soloing. Keeping ahead of the boss melee hits while killing it at the same time sounds like a challenge. Anything else is just cake. Dk's require most strategy of all the boss-monsters out there in my opinion and their most expensive drop is only a fraction of one of the easiest monsters, the Corporal beast. Ah well, comparing it to other games, ofcourse they are to easy. It is the nature of the game. But after WoW, the new-boss monsters that came after I quited for a while, are just cake. Not even going to bother on them anymore ;) No tactic, no fun.

nerdboyxxx
All the bosses in Runescape are easy compared to WoW, when I was raiding with a 25-man group we'd go up against the most badass monsters in the game. Very difficult, but the payout would be extremely good. In Runescape, I find easy boss monsters give a decent payout (especially gwd...) and the harder ones (like DK) give some pretty [cabbage] drops tbh, considering how hard they are. I've seen Corporeal beast drops, they are the highest-selling items in the game (even though it requires about 20 people to take down effectively, thats still a lot of dough. 300M divided by 20 people with coinshare 15,000,000 and you can take it down pretty easily with a team that size). I'd like to see the difficulty of a lot of the boss monsters raised to a "fairly hard" level, so it takes a decent amount of time and effort to kill it. I'd also like to see some more strategy involved in fighting boss monsters, maybe giving the boss multiple attacks, causing you to have to quickly change between protecton prayers while healing, killing the minions, AND watching your prayer? That would be very decent and a good challenge. Of course, the drops for these monsters would be improved, so that you recieve just about the same payout as before (so around 1M an hour if you gather the average amount of cash you get in 5 hours). Also, allowing a group to select the difficulty of the monster they are fighting before they enter the fight would be good. So, lower levelled groups can have a normal boss, and the higher levels can have a harder boss to fight but a better payout. That way, it's fun, challenging, fair, and worth it. Great_one
the way to make bosses in runescape require more strategy would be by making it so soloing gave more of a reward than teaming. this would push more people to solo and that imo is much more difficult. Attack that chains from player to player but can't hit anyone more then once? Wouldn't make soloing more rewarding but it would counteract massing. Orthodoxy is unconciousnessthe only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed.

The KBD is insanely easy though. Even with only 2 people, it can go down in a minute. Oh no i know that it's insanely easy, I solo about 10 every trip with 1 summoning, but it's a higher level and is a boss and is harder than a steel dragon to kill, yet it's drops are worse. And thinking about it the drops actually are worse, seeing as the steel dragon has the visage, d legs, d skirt, d med etc, whereas the kbd misses the skirt and legs. Therefore KBD needs some updating, I'm not suggesting adding any new drops, I'm suggesting that they remove the god damn addy axe! All_Is_Great
These boss monsters completely puts the money making potential between combat and skills off. Except for 91 RC but how many people can do that? Compared to all those GWD'ers.
