AgingMiser Posted September 4, 2009 Share Posted September 4, 2009 After the initial update, before the latest batch of updates to fix all the glitches that came with the update, I could easily run standard detail on resizable with no lag if I kept the ground blending off. Now I lag so much on resizable even with all the graphics options set to the lowest ones possible that turning ground blending on doesn't even matter, because it's so slow to begin with. Also is it just me or are some parts of runescape waay too dark now? In certain places I can't even tell skillcapes apart because it's impossible to see the icon and the colour of the cape +trim. When I log in, for the first few seconds I can't move or manipulate my environment. I used to have this problem, but I coulda sworn it had been resolved a couple of months ago. B. My run turns off when I log out. I seem to think it used to stay on when I logged out. I could be wrong, of course. Maybe those were never fixed. If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased.The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? I also wonder why the graphics for several items seem to have reverted back to the way they once were long ago. Now there is a slight delay causing me to 'walk here' and a yellow click, instead of engage monster, red click. I hope it's fixed soon. langer Posted September 8, 2009 Share Posted September 8, 2009 I'm pretty confusef at this moment, because aside from the first day when some monsters were hard to click (like gargoyles used to be), I haven't experienced anything all you guys seem to get. I dreaded HD because when it first came it was lagguy and I couldn't play in a small window, but this update has no major fault from my perspective, the shops are a slight set-back but I'm pretty sure Jagex will fix some items in the near future (shards being the obvious one). Other than the glitches above,(which I have too) there are some others that are starting to annoy me. Among them is the fact that in your inventory and equipment page(s) ,most of the items look worse than before. I mean, seriously, my Explorer Ring 3 looks like an Ogre decided sitting-on-rings is fun, and promptly sat on it. The graphics are odd, and tbh, the minimap looks worse as well, because the darker spots around things you can't run through make it looks like it was edited in MS Paint and someone clicked the paint bucket button. Jagex has forums on which you can report bugs and they do their best to fix it all fast. They're human too you know... Edit: Just felt I should answer to this:...the shops are a slight set-back but I'm pretty sure Jagex will fix some items in the near future (shards being the obvious one). I right-clicked (since we were both moving, it was easier to select Talk-To from the static menu as opposed to try and hit him with a left click), the mouse jigged suddenly and I pickpocketed him instead. Now he won't talk to me and I can't proceed with FairyTale Part 1 until he forgets. Very annoying... Part of the Star Traks network. (^^Clicky!)
