In f2p, melee is the obvious winner. Wearing full rune with 99 magic/def practically makes you an immortal. Don't even get me started on the dps.

It does kind of increase my self-esteem, somewhat. However, that's not really the only source. If Runescape is the only way to improve your self-esteem... lol.

This year's event was fun.

I do the holiday events mostly for the rewards, but also to take a break from all that skilling of mine. It's nice to just chillax in a while. :P

I wonder how the game and botting policy would work if it was COMPLETELY F2P... then there would be no excuse not to ban those bots. In exchange Jagex could use ad revenue to make up for the membership losses. Or, globally open the Jagex store. Yeah Jagex make yourself famous to the whole world. Then we'll have some REAL $$$ =P~

Sorry with the lack of updates these days, I've been pretty busy to mind stuff about my guide right now. As for the guide itself, I'll finish up with bosses shortly, then moving on to enemies. I'm going to replace my own images with RSWiki ones as they're far more awesome. Expect a rework on "Dungeon Training Strategies" as well, this section will be a leveling guide rather than explaining training routes :P Other stuff, I will do them in order. Just don't expect my guide to be finished that fast, lol.

And those under 13 years old are in the minority, no? Most people fake age anyways, mostly because it makes them feel cooler. But one thing people don't realize is that it's more efficient to fake age above 13. You don't get the security/safety questions anymore, AND you can communicate in activities + dungeoneering, places where constant chitchat is a must. Not to mention it makes a more effective gameplay since you don't have to just listen to quickchat anymore - conversation is far more free and broad!

I really want a celestial set + celestial catalytic, cuz the set together looks so awesome. :thumbsup: But I guess for utility, full primal + kiteshield + longsword would be my main set. Not really a fan of the ranged equip :\

They already removed the security questions part in the stronghold of security, and I don't think you need to do a test thing anymore in player safety. You just get lamps now.

There's a guy east of Varrock bank named Pretzel Bert who gives out pretzels for 1gp each. They don't last for the next update however. That's pretty much all there is to the Oktoberfest stuff in Runescape.

Why not just make it so you can join both gangs at the same time? :mellow: I agree, quests like this needs to go die. Sure there's RSOF, but face it, this is Runescape. Not a lot of players can be trusted. I personally got lucky with both shield of arrav and heroes' quest, but maybe others aren't.

Not only that, but darts/knives are 1 speed faster than Kayle's sling. The downside to them is the ridiculously short range they have. As for the Arma test, use Kayle's sling instead of regular. It's very slightly better than the regular sling. (Wow, if the sling really is this good... then even members CAN consider infinite ranging :blink: )

And with so many people playing, it would also mean a whole bunch of noobs would try and play as well. Which would probably end in utter chaos. Besides, you still need to play regularly for tokens needed for the guild teletabs as well as for the talisman staffs.

Who cares about offensive names, tbh? Never, EVER use someone's username to judge a person. You won't BELIEVE the countless number of times I've been called a Sonic fanboy just because of my user... <_<

Which is why all these updates have been made now, therefore making 99 obtaining much easier than before. There's the reward for combat and certain skills, like dungeoneering. Because of this, people feel like they are forced to get certain 99s not just because so many people have them, but because of the benefits. With 120, there is even more leeway for better rewards, giving more of the encouragement feel to those players. Well, most people go for 99s either because of the long-term benefits, they like the skill, or they want the 99. The 100m'ers/200m'ers are doing this for the ranks, since there are obviously no benefits past 99 (at least for now). What I meant from the above is that, there will be a benefit to having 120 all combats. The cost in turn, though, is that since training all the way to 120 takes much longer than 99, it turns some people off. However, this is only for a short time period. As the game progresses and updates, more and more people will get 120 combats, and there might be more people with 120 combats than there are with 99 right now. If it's unhealthy for the game and unbalances high end PvM, the solution is to create even harder PvM situations than there is now. Some of the monsters in dungeoneering can already pose enough of a threat, let's see if warped, as well as future Runescape bosses, can take this a step further. Of course, new weapons/armor/gear/stuff has to be created in turn to balance this. But, one day, if Jagex makes a boss where even using the most high-end gear is hard, but has the best rewards in the game, that's where the balance is perfect.
