I'm SURE you'll be able to kill a boss with 60 stats. :rolleyes: That being said, bosses in dungeoneering pretty much require cooperation, otherwise these bosses are going to own you hard.

Yeah. Rune spear/halberd/claws/boots would be nice additions, but they aren't NEEDED. Granted, us free players just got the Lumbridge Hard Achievement Diary, so expect a break of updates for a few weeks.

It's such a shame we can't use assist for any of the tasks. My 61 smithing is what prevents me from finishing Lumby hard <_< Oh well, it would probably defeat the purpose of "elite" tasks anyway. Time to train my smithing!

Singha: 51 farming, 48 thieving, and 45 agility. Sonic: None, though I did do some dunge and rc. And here's how I'm planning to do my smith and craft: Smithing: Scroll of efficiency, iron/steel plates (depends) Crafting: Right before finishing a dungeon, I use all my money to buy protoleather hide and make boots. Got a nice 2k-ish crafting exp per dungeon. As for my other skills, I'm planning to train it bit by bit, don't have major plans for them at the moment. ;)

How about the new resource dungeon with Blue Dragons? Are you going to add those in your guide too?

I pretty much stalk most of the forums here (mostly Runescape ones), and if there's something that intrigues me, I post in it. It's mostly in General Discussion, but I post quite often in other places too.

I'm sorry, but I take offense at that. Most free play friends I know are great friends to talk to, and aren't actually showoffs in any way (aside from what they wear, but that doesn't really count). There's this maxed free player that comes into this dungeoneering clan chat that I go to (they are GOOD, btw), but does she ever mention anything about it? NO. In fact, this other day, while I was slaying greaters on my p2p account, some 105 comes and was like "gtfo black mask noob, go to the other side". I don't recall hearing anything like that in free play, at least not when I was cockroach killing. Yes I know that since it's free, there will be more players and a greater chance of immaturity, but please, don't assume that just because it's free it will be full of immature [wagon]es. The free community is better than you think.

I never really run out of run energy whilist dungeoneering. :mellow: Speaking of which, having hunter levels allows you to complete the "catching the ferret" puzzle easier, so that's another benefit.

You can use melee/ranged and expect the same results as magic, only it's faster because both are more DPS than magic. Face it, people go FOG purely for training magic on those low level magic pures, including myself. :thumbup:

You'd still keep the high prestige, but you have to reset back to 35 anyway, so technically it wouldn't help much.

A side note - you don't NEED to have 57 rc to craft 100 water runes at the same time. At your current level this is still possible thanks to the "more runes" update.

How are skillcapes overrated? Just because they're more common now doesn't mean they're "overrated". You do realize skillcapes have one of the best stats in the game right?

Well I guess I'd make iron platebodies with the scroll of efficiency effect, then alch the platebodies later. Also, played on Singha today. Gained 2 more farming levels, raising it to 47!

I think it's still good to get 70+ combats. Not only is it a decent goal to go for, you'll need it for some of the best members gear (whip, barrows, sara sword, zammy spear). Even if you're not going to go for these items it's still pretty darn useful to have decently high stats. @ Kota: It's pretty much the same as members, except it's world 1, and there aren't official "elite" clans. And of course lowered exp with less bonus rooms.

Omni-tiara/staff also works in free play, if you're looking for another benefit.

Ehh, when I say "glitch" I really DO mean "glitch". I just went on 50+ trips and NONE of them gave me explorer ring runes.

Old Runescape websites may be the most reliable information for past Runescape things, but unless you're interested in Runescape's past there really is no reason why you want to go to these sites. Besides, there's a reason why they are called "old" websites. I'm not saying I don't support the old websites though. It's just that, what's the use if most aren't going to use them? :mellow:

NO. In free play, you don't really need armor at all. Instead, you should use your 2nd bind on a different aspect of the combat triangle (either ranged or magic). Kaida, the reason why you take so long is because you're overpreparing. >.> You don't really need to skill, make armor, or even prepare food at this stage. Most of the bosses in the early floors are pretty straightforward lol. Oh and if you plan on maging at all, get 54/65 rcing for laws/deaths. It's better to craft them then bind, as you should use your ammo slot on arrows if you can.

I think my ring is glitched... I was crafting earths and noticed it stopped giving me extra earths from the ring. Less xp per trip = fail. :thumbdown: And don't bother sceptering body tiaras, you waste too much time getting all the parts. Besides, tiaras waste too much money to be worthwhile.

What a nice jump of runecrafting exp. Rank 19 with nearly 60m exp, and you started this blog at 55m rc exp a few days ago. Crazy :blink: Nevertheless, good luck!

Is the assist system possible for this task, then? I actually really don't like training smithing... but I still have to for all 70 stats and stuff.

Haha thanks! And to be honest, I didn't really prepare that well during the weekend, plus the fact I lack the cash for herblore. :oops: Yeah, getting smithing up will be quite a pain. >.<" Oh well, I'm going to try my best to get it up. Maybe assist might work for it?
