  2. Hmm... about the mace, I was thinking about either speed or strength, but you're right. A mace is pretty heavy. Daggers are weaker than claws, so daggers deserve poison. And NO WAY claws should become Speed 8, otherwise claws will be the next overpowered weapon. Maybe the spear CAN do that, but then again, it is the uniqueness of the halberd, so I don't think so. You're right though, hammering with a spear is indeed less accurate than stabbing with it if you look into real life. My "logical reasons" are already there actually, I mentioned the warhammer's underpowered strength and the halberd's "not-enough" squares to reach. Added you to Support list.

  4. While gaining Drop Potential, I powermine at the Steel/Hobogoblin Mine in the Wilderness (Hot Zone). And I only skill on PVP worlds. PKing is so old school to me. -.-

Longswords are better than scimitars in select situations, but that is like the extremely rare circumstance involving the mace and rapid heal prayer or saradomin swords at waterfiends. I'll be adding a supporter's list. I assume you support? Yes. I support. I want FULLY balanced weapons, not the absurdly overpowered scimitars or the absurdly underpowered warhammers and shortswords. I can also add armor suggestions if you want. Changing the defence bonus so chainmail is EXACTLY the same as platemail except the stab and crush defences are inverted? I'll make a post on this in "Suggestions" later. Good idea, except it isn't historically or logically true, but who cares? I mean, if this game is supposed to be logical, a scimitar wouldn't be as fast as a dagger and carrying 100 billion coins in your backpack would make you stronger. I've already made a suggestion on this, so... yeah. :-#
  6. As you know, currently in F2P, the only weapon that is most commonly used is the Rune Scimitar. In this suggestion, I would try to re-balance the weapons so that other weapons can be better (maces and warhammers most notably). I will also make armor suggestions so defence bonuses become more noticeable as well. For stat changes, I used rune items as an example. Weapons: Dagger: Increased to Speed 7, Decreased DDS spec, Increased strength, Increased Stab Reason: Currently, daggers are one of the worst weapons in the F2P world. If we tweak this weapon up a bit, we can at least make this weapon's speed more noticeable, and people will use it more. Dagger is also weak, so I suggest that the strength goes up a bit. I also suggest that the DDS spec be slower, so that DDS won't be overpowered. Stab should be increased as well.   9. Sometimes I wish bots never appeared in the first place... It was them who removed free trade, old wilderness, and staking. But since there are much fewer bots in RuneScape now, I don't think bots are that much of a big problem anymore.
  10. The Swordfish Gloves lasts for 1000 Swordfish catches. Tuna doesn't count.

The fire axe is equel to a rune battle axe it for fighting not for woodcutting and i will leave the spec's up to jagex thy are good with that sort of thing to give balance to the game For runecrafing how how about a Fire Crown that u need level 50 firemaking to light and has the same ability as the fire tiaras and it can telleport u to the Fire Altar ( and it look like u are in golfed by flames wen u telleport ). And lastly there is a fire woodcutting axe and a fire pick axe its called a Inferno Adze. Thanks for the support and ideas u have beed added to the list. I was thinking something that gives more XP when Fire Runecrafting, but yeah, that would work.
  12. Nah. The longsword isn't good at all because it's damage:time ratio is too low, much lower than the scimitar. The only -sword that beats a -scimitar is the Obby Sword + Zerker Necklace, and that's p2p. I have done tests, and sometimes longswords exceeds scimitars in XP. I can show you XP rates if you want. Summary from the above posts: A sword isn't worth using in F2P.

  14. Sword and Scimitar are the same speed. You might as well go with a scimitar since it has better stats. If you want looks though, a Longsword is your best bet (By the way, Longswords sometimes (not all the time!) get more XP than scimitars. Although scimtars can also get more XP than longswords as well.)
  15. If you want Experience, then Flesh Crawlers or Giant Spiders are your best bets. If you want Drops, Cockroach Workers/Soldiers are great. If you want Prayer, any kind of giant is good. Note that these are for Melee.
