Well, unlike other types of pkers, these pkers actually have a reason to kill you. Runite ore is worth a LOT, you can make quite a few bits of gp killing runite miners (provided you can actually kill them of course). Unfortunate, eh. :(

Very interesting. I'm mainly looking at gravite 2h vs rune scimitar actually, and so it seems that it is still slightly better than rune scimitar even with fairly mediocre defensive stats. What I'm still wondering about is at what levels would gravite 2h fare better than a rune scimitar. The only "test" (which really isn't, it's just some blurb on the RSWiki) is done at 99 strength, which is not really ideal as not a good portion of f2p have those levels. In other words, what would be the "turning point" in which gravite 2h would be better than the rune scimitar? Or does all of the above fare true no matter what strength level?

Ring of Kinship is no different from Explorer's Ring in terms of a free teleport (you don't get interrupted from combat once you tele). In fact, Kinship is actually worse because it doesn't have the run restore feature from the Explorer's Ring. Also, if I recall, I don't think you can use other monsters to try and prevent players from attacking. --- From the topic I created in Metagaming forum, it seems that gravite rapier is superior to rune scimitar in all situations (duh), gravite 2h is superior in PvP/high level monsters (maybe?), and gravite longsword is worse than all of them. These results seem reasonable, so I'm going to get myself a gravite 2h later. :) I won't get a rapier because the improvement over the scimitar isn't very significant. Yea I know, anti-efficiency and stuff. I might if I have tokens to spare though.

Just a li'l something that I have been wondering ever since gravite weaponry has come out. Now, it has been clear that the rune scimitar is indisputably the best weapon since the rune longsword debate, which has been proven over and over again. However, with the release of gravite, I have been hearing that all three of such weapons are better than the rune scimitar. There's no need to debate the rapier, as it's basically a better version of the scimitar anyway. What I'm interested over is the longsword and the 2h (particularly that). Versus rune scimitar, which is better for: - powertraining? (flesh crawlers/giant spiders) - giants? (all 3) - high level monsters? (lesser/greater demons, ankous, hellhounds) - cockroach soldiers? - PvP? - minigames (Fist of Guthix mainly)? Note that all of the above is assuming you are willing to pay either the 1m cost, or the 100k + 6.5k tokens cost to completely repair the weapon. This would probably be pretty interesting to see.

It's funny how botters are always going for very inefficient methods of training, especially mining where only 1 person can get the 1 ore from a rock. :rolleyes: Also, can anyone test the effectiveness of gravite weapons vs rune scimitar? I heard all 3 are better than it, but I'm mainly looking at the 2h.

Would only want one for the resource dungeon in Karamja Volcano, and maybe the fire giant one as well. I don't think it's a good idea to add one anywhere else.

I understand your rant perfectly, unfortunately Runescape is run amass with these kinds of players. However, because there's so many of them at a given time, I've learnt to deal with these people and just get on with life. Kids like these are just trying (and failing hard) to get an arousal out of you. Makes me ashamed being a 15 year old guy tbh.

I had no problems with bank slots, personally. I sit just above the 70 mark with all items deposited in, I bank a lot of skilling items and random event items take up ~20 spaces too. I say it's fine as is. It's a matter of organization.

Except this time it isn't even a WoW comparison thread. It's about how certain search suggestions pop up Runescape in one of the very first suggestions. I mean I was frankly quite surprised that the first thing that popped up from "how to scam" turned out to be "how to scam in runescape". Well, that explains all the scammers in the Grand Exchange and so many people failing at it. :thumbdown:
