Wow that was fast thanks :D Anyone know about questions 1 and 2?

I have a couple semi unrelated questions that I want to know. 1) With the new update to the cost of uncut onyx people think it will be very hard to get that much tokul, which it will be hard, but they also changed the amount of tokul you get for selling a fire rune. I have no idea why they did that but how long do you think it will be before people realize it isn't impossible to get onyx now and furys crash? I had 5 furys for the last few days but I needed some cash and sold 4 of them for highest in the ge for max, but I did notice that the first two ge updates after the shop update the fury rose 200k+ and today it only rose 170k. Can someone just give me a guess of how high they think the fury might peak at before it crashes or stops going up? 2) A lot of people have been asking this, are the safe spots for rex and tormented demons fixed? Or maybe is jagex planning on making that permanent like they did with the familiar at godwars thing? 3) At armoured zombies would the prayer bonus of neitnotz, full prossy and borrows gloves out weigh the special effect of void? Ya I know another armoured zombie question : 4) Jagex must have had a reason for the new shop update but I can't find anything that makes it beneficial to anyone. Does anyone know why they made this update? If you don't know please don't make a rant out of this. 5) When wearing a sacred clay item does it give double hp xp or just double xp to your attack style? 6) This one sort of goes with question 5. Does sacred clay robes or staff give double xp when doing something like alcing or plank making? That's a lot of questions, any help would be nice. :)

Awesome guide :thumbsup: Just did the math, it's like a 26 gp profit for each rune doing 59 a trip. My math might be wrong though. Maybe it's time for 77 runecrafting now? :

I just went and tried it and unfortunately i forgot to check how much xp I started with. But, my inventory was decent but not good enough for dh to be good there. It's to hard to stay super potted the entire time with dh.

The Ranger is stronger than the melee zombies and WILL hit you eventually. (This is from personal experience; AZ's for 92-99 attack and 91-99 strength with already having 99 defence) Hmm so I should pray range instead? I've never tried them without a bunyip so I'm not used to caring about getting hit every now and then but I had full prossy on. And, should I bring maybe 1 sara brew along with my enhanced excaliber just incase I really need it? EDIT: oh ya I forgot, should I still pray piety with protect prayer on or use something like 15% strength?

They do but with 99 defence and +295 range defence they don't hit me. I've never seen a rev at that alter before either even going from 90-99 defence there. The alter is like 1 step away from the latter. Where do I get explosive potions? Or, would zammy brews work instead. EDIT: didn't see the post above, should I bring like normal restores to restore defence? EDIT AGAIN: just threw together a random inventory, would this be ok? If not what should I replace or get rid of? I'm bringing enhanced excaliber to heal when I need to.

Before you post know this, I'm going to do this so don't tell me not to or it is a bad idea. My friend told me this is how he trained strength but what he didn't tell me is what inventory or familiar to use... Does anyone know?

Nah, it still stops his regular hits, just not his special. Ever thought about tanking while maging? Can reduce costs massively. Wearing maxed melee defence, with a good shield. I used to do that when i was around your defence level. Basically, wear anything you can to increase defence, and the staff of your choice for your spell. Take a bow and dragonhide for ahrim. Mage all the brothers without praying, and range ahrim. Wether or not you pray against ahrim is up to you, as it can stop him lowering your defence. Even dharok is easy to tank, i've found he has the accuracy of a banana :) In his crypt, fight him on the north side of his tomb, then if he hits, run to the south side and trap him on the north side of the coffin. Spirit shields own for mage tanking 0 negative stats with a prayer bonus and decent stats :

You're talking about wanna be mods... They try to find an excuse to report anyone and everyone they see. It's best to just ignore them.

I have thought about black salamander - but does that mean tanking with no prayer? Also, i find it faster to mage karil than to melee him - and i've tryed all attack styles. I have thought about God spells and the new update, but i didn't think it was worth an extra invo space taken up - plus it's expensive. For torag and guthans ya I meant tanking with no prayer but if you wear your set up you might want to pray on them.

Oh well high enough for everything I said. : Go with verac instead of torag.

For low cost use a black salamander, it hits higher then slayer dart and is cheaper by almost half the cost. For very fast kills go with claws of guthix and void mace if you have the charge spell it destroys with the new update for it. I can kill the melee brothers fast enough so that I don't eat or need prayer with claws of guthix. Why are you maging karil? He's range which means he's strong against mage, just melee him. I only bring a dds and it usually is all I need to get the kc. The set up looks fine, but I've never used a mystic robe top there I always just used full prossy or verac so I can't really say much on the set up.

Mine says the same thing and so does my brothers. It's probably just a problem with the website and nothing to do with your internet.

I haven't tried it at steel or iron dragons because I skip those tasks but at mithril dragons a leaf bladed sword definitely beats a whip.

As everyone else has said, Dragon scimmy beats godsword for training. I actually like dragon scimmy+rune defender better than the saradomin sword for training.

I've tried them with range and they aren't good to train at with range. I didn't keep track of xp for exactly one hour but it's somewhere near 40k xp/hour. You're better off going to aviansies or slaying than going to armoured zombies with range.

Why? It's just a cape. I wouldn't mind it if someone with like 45 combat got 99 slayer but level 18 is ridiculous. At level 18 combat you didn't actually train slayer for 99. I have no problem with people getting levels there unless it's getting 1-99 at just soul wars. It should be like pest control with a required combat level to get in. You do know that getting 99 slayer in soul wars takes AT LEAST 2x as long as it would with normal training? He DESERVES that cape for putting in all the hours. Even if it's just a game, it's still damn near impossible to do. You try it, most people, me included, would give up after under 1k points. I understand that he put tons of hours into it but what I'm saying is it annoys me that you don't have to train it to level it. I never once said he didn't deserve it btw

For runecrafting, the ZMI alter is fast at your level but you either don't make money or you lose money at your level. If I were you i'd just make nats with graahks or deaths using the abyss. Using graahks it is possible to get over 2k ess crafted in an hour. With all the pouches deaths are faster xp then natures using the graahk but without them all I think graahks are the fastest. For farming just do what you said, trees and herbs, but do limpwurts or marigolds with the herbs for a little extra xp and profit. Also, fruit trees are always nice to do.
