My advice to you would be rockcrabs or SoS until you are about level 45ish. Then, go to the observatory north of castle wars and kill the hillies there. They drop the occasional charm and big bones for your prayer. Castle wars bank is relatively close by for food if you need.

Slayer at that Atk level will take long. Dont do experiments, they are slow to respawn. Finish Frem. Trials quest, and start Frem. Isles, then go to neitiznot and fight Yaks for super fast atk exp. I did that for Atk for 60 - 70 in about 2-3 days.

Telling us if you are f2p or p2p would help. But if f2p, definitely stronghold of security minotaurs - you can practice range there and they drop iron arrows for you. Thats actually not a bad place for p2p either. P2p, you can go to Rock crabs as well. Lvl 12 (i think?) with 50 HP.

Yeah, if you think its only going to be a 100k drop, then really no point in waiting. And I doubt Jagex is going to dethrone the whip soon :P Thanks for that, anyone else think the whip wont drop much? Is 2m the new standard for the whip?

Hey guys, I just reached 70 atk a few days ago and would like to buy a whip. I currently have about 7m. I ideally wanted to wait to see if the whip came back down to 1.2m before buying one, but it doesnt seem to be going less than 2m. So i was wondering, should I go ahead and buy it now for 2.2m or do you think it really will fall lower eventually? I would like to train my def. up and would like a whip to do that. Thanks all!

Thats weird, cause I have never lost money doing Ranarrs. Even at lvl 32. 1 seed = 40k You WILL get atleast 5 herbs per seed given that you are wielding magic secateurs. 1 herb = 10k, so u make 50k. so atleast a 10k profit per seed. And usually, I get 6-7 herbs per seed, which nets me a 100k profit every herb run.

Yep, but I suggest holding off Farming for a few days. Ranarr seeds and herb prices are dropping like a rock. It will stabilize soon and then you should start. Otherwise you may lose some money. Edit: Your hunter is decent. Try hunting swamp lizards and selling those (900 each) until your Hunter is 63, then go for Chins. To Khandajatt: actually a crash is when prices drop dramatically so you may want to sell your stuff while it is high.

Get a ddp++ for sure, and also a dragon long (have to do a quest to get it). Get the D scimitar instead of the Dlong if you can but it requires Monkey Madness I believe. Also at 60 def, you want to get Dragon Boots (best boots in game I think). Not too sure about Def, cause my def. is also below 60 (altho atk and str. are above).

Not to mention ore prices will plummet, and then this poster will be back here complaining how his now 99 mining is worthless and blame that on Jagex too.

Despite what some people say, it is an achievement to get ANY 99 (dont flame me just cause I dont have any 99 - I do appreciate the work they take) I agree with the others though, get a small group of friends because sometimes, you get crashers who show up just to make fun of your achievement, you dont want that.

You clearly dont read the papers... If you did, you'd hear the sick things that people do to others are a result of misleading eachother on the internet. I agree with where smurf is coming from and do agree with him to an extent. Yes, Runescape is missing that medieval feel. However, ratchet is right. When you played RS 3-4 years back, it was a relatively smaller game with an older population and so Jagex was able to be less stringent on security, scammers etc. I, myself did not mind the scammers because I felt if you were stupid enough to fall for it, too bad for you. However, Jagex is a company and they do have to evolve. If there is more money in getting younger kids into RS, then thats what they will do, and as a result, the game has got easier. Its not really for better or for worse, because there is no way the game cannot evolve. I wouldnt go so far as to say that their updates are all downgrades however. I think somethings (like Rest) is quite realistic. Having high agility means u can run for longer. You dont really want to rest when ur in the Wildy being chased by a Pker, do you?

I dont think he should only talk to people on his friend's list. Part of the game is to meet new people and friends. I do think he was just an idiot. And Sword is right, most of the people are pretty nice. Here's a tip, stick to W99 so theres more chance that the high-lvls will be Tipiters hehe.

I dont know if this is bannable, maybe the other members can let me know: If you can transfer 60k every 15 minutes, then theoretically, can one person keep giving the other 60k every 15 minutes for free without getting banned, blackmarked, etc. If so, then this is the only way..other than junk trades I guess.

I bought some Rune Plates a few weeks ago at around 48k and they are still around there. I know looking at the graph, it looks like they took a steep plunge down but they aint recovering. I dont think they'll go up too much so I recommend selling them. Also, u may want to look at Grimy Avantoes. They are in a similar position. You could get some profit there. Ranarr seeds are also good investments while 26king lasts.
