  1. I report the level 3's that I see at Daemonheim frequently. They always tele to sorceress garden and have names like "hrdcxfws" I'm not exactly sure if that's true about false positives, either.
  2. I got my first two hunter rocks at 2 hours of herblore habitat. Datluck.
  3. Gtfo. Short Circuit rules. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIGRfnjprC0&feature=related It should be the only place you've heard and had that song stuck in your head. >: (
  4. So check filled trap, pick-up animation - > click on spare trap in invent, while laying the moment it opens click the next spot you want to go? Just trying to make sure if I understand properly. Thank you guys for the help.
  5. I can't set more than 5 traps and I'll switch my familiar straightaway. Guess I'm still too far away to hope for 158k/hr Thanks guys.
  6. More questions. So I did a 20min round using full witchdoctor wolpertinger hunter potion scentless potion And I'm still not getting optimal exp rates. Would I really potentially lose -40k/hr not having 5 traps?
  7. Ask someone to make the best 2h you can wield for you or use Dung Smith.
  8. I read about it in this guide. Is it still possible to attract both types in the southern area?
  9. But...but...then I'd have to move away from my computer to get something to eat. :ohnoes: that's... actually a good idea someone invent a laptop microwave please Technology is evolving
  10. Dying? Perhaps, that would be natural for how long rs has been running. But the economy has recovered quite nicely post-botnuke. I don't see much of a 'taint' left by them. There are 150,000 less people on at any given time Which is why I agreed that the game might be dying. But tainted? No. It only masked the natural trend.

  12. The thing about dark bows is that they're extremely slow and are really poor choices of range weaponry. Even a mage short bow, which is substantially cheaper, is a better alternative to it. Since it seems that the guide tries to apply to the every-player, suggesting equipment like the MSB and throwing knives is a nice mix of "average" and "ideal" setups. Speed is more important than weapon quality in this boss fight. Dark bow has a speed of 1 and costs almost 200k. Throwing knives have a speed of 7 and costs maybe 100k for a set of 100. Magic short bow has a speed of 6 and costs less than 1k. (It's also important to note that Dark Bow isn't a long bow, so you're not sacrificing a lot of distance by choosing faster shortbow alternatives. ) So mentioning things like dark bows is really impractical. Plus I don't think that your defense rating lowers the power of Char's attacks, so there's really no benefit to wielding a crossbow (main benefit would be either defense/range attack, neither which matter in Char's fight) I used a chaotic crossbow because the guide didn't emphasize ranging speed as the most crucial factor of the fight my first few tries and I really struggled to do enough damage / keep a high number of fires lit to be worthwhile. So I think what Sy was trying to say was that the guide should put a heavier emphasis on ranging speed, because right now it simply emphasizes ranging with no further detail. And I'm living proof that some people can struggle because of it :P

Most people have wireless controllers now and to hook your wireless controller (for xbox) to your PC you need a specific usb adapter. The recharging kit doesn't work. The recharging cable I got with the controller worked with my PC. Any mini usb to usb cable should work... Miniusb? Are you sure you're talking about xbox controllers? What you're saying applies to PS3 controllers.
  14. I'm training my agility. Are they similar to agility brawlers, where I should only put them on the last obstacle or two to get the best bonus exp? Or do they have a set amount of bonus exp and it doesn't matter? If it's the former, which course is best?

I can get behind this. When the Dreamcast came out, I fell in love with the design. It wasn't perfect, but it was better than the Playstation's at the time. And the Playstation was all I was ever exposed to. When I was able to snag an xbox for 150$ less than the going rate at the time, I fell in love with the 360 design. It's hard to go back to how tiny the PS controllers are.
  16. If that was the case, you wouldn't be having such an issue right now I'm guessing. You're complaining about repetitive tasks. Grinding. Do you know of any big-name mmorpg's that lack this element? You're turning this into a philosophical debate and it's completely unnecessary. You've got your answer, the best ways to get cash for your level, the best ways to go about things. How to make cash with virtually no effort. There's not much else to tell you, especially if these methods provided to you upset you.
  17. There are things I could have gone without knowing about you. That's [bleep]ing #1 on the list.
  18. Why, when it's created and has no other purpose but to do bad things? A person makes a mapping software for dungeoneering that adheres to jagex's 3rd party client rules and helps people. That's good. A person makes a botting program and sells it for 20 bucks a pop, and it doesn't adhere to 3rd party client rules. That's bad. I don't understand how the act of creating can be separated from the creation's sole function. o_O
  19. I would have never got the Hati and Skoll items without you guys, thank you! :) It's a lot more fun in a group.
  20. Does that statement truly apply considering they were developing software they knew to be illegal, against the game's TOS, and having no other purpose other than to continue to violate those terms? If something's sole purpose is to violate set guidelines, most people would understandably label the creators and their works as "bad".
  21. Not every guide is about xp. If the xp is truly that small, then this is clearly a money making guide, especially if little to no trees are mentioned. That's a lovely philosophy but guides usually illustrate good ways to train or do things that give good output. It's a good tip that evil turnips grow in 5 minutes and don't get diseased, but it'd be even better if it was worked into the start of a juju herb run for example. So it's a good tip but not a very good guide :P It's a better guide for magic exp than it is farming exp, since he'd be getting more magic exp/hr than farming exp... The vid was well put together though :P
