It's completely asinine to assume that those who have the comp cape are 'addicted'. And yes, you are limiting yourself if you're not willing to train (or "grind" as you like to say). I seriously don't know what to tell you. Your assumptions are actually pretty offensive and ill-conceived. Sorry you checked back into the game and found a piece of impending content you didn't like, but there's a big difference between stating your opinions and passing them off as fact.

Exactly. I'm level 138, 99 prayer and herblore but because I dont have 650 MILLLION gp to fling at the best armour in the game I'm expected to sit it out... Wow, real incentive to play there... You can't seriously make the assumption that torva and pernix type armors are a requirement. In most cases doesn't Ganodermic come close (for a average-level armor) to the performance values of torva anyway? I'm not Bird_Of_Prey to bet with fellow forum members, but if I was, I'd lay 10mil (or more if I had it) on the table right now to say that within the first month, people will find ways to do it successfully without even considering torva/pernix. You're killing the incentive to play all on your own, and before the content is even released! And many players, like myself, have long since killed the incentive to try and fail. Instead many people wait for others to find workarounds and handy set-ups to make our lives easier so we face as little challenge as possible when we can even be bothered to go... Step back and take a breather, perhaps.

I couldn't think of any other slayer tasks that were far from a bank :-| I read somewhere that if you go to lumbridge swamp you can do the jack of all trades in 5 minutes. That was recently in the DYK, but you can honestly do it faster with simply a teleport to varrock spell, a throw knife/hasta/javellin, and guards within the Varrock Castle.

Only in certain boss hunting situations. I wouldn't buy it until you planned on camping at a certain boss that required it, since it will only decrease in value.

Then you should love this new cape and there is certainly no reason to be obsessing over the fact that the completionist cape achieves the goals it sets out to do just because you can't be bothered to obtain them. The only people who should be interested in the strength bonus to be offered by the cape itself are those with the income and time to allow them to already hit the max strength bonus pre-completionist cape release. And I don't think you're one of those people.

I'm not skilled enough at conquest to obtain my own deflector and I can never make it work out to trade wins with someone. Thanks for the rate information.

What was the exp rates with red chins and rigour? (No deflector, void elite, guthix illuminated, fury, archer ring)

If it did, then this whole point of discussion (ie meth burn victims) would never have been a problem in the first place.

Ignore the helm, that's for flavor more than anything. Implying people use 2h'ers in skyrim when dual wielding is so obviously better :P

I am ecstatic. These updates sound absolutely thrilling. I'm shocked with the new Red Sandstone update though. With fellstalk and morchella mushrooms, I thought this would have been the new trend for high-level content. But this should be pretty interesting and a lot of money for people. I hope to god you can bank the sandstone though. It'd be nice to mine it up and stock up with battlestaves for crafting training. Though I guess I'm no longer waiting to train crafting on BXPW...I've GOT to get within potting range for dat shizniz.

But strictly speaking about our forum rules and advertising the service on Tip.it, it might be wise to stick to items that are lendable via the assist system. For example, I'm sure that you would be able to help out a few souls in need during the TMHT Monster Hunting Team events.

You're asking me to explain Jagex's logic. I cannot. I don't even think they can. As for "proof" I suggest you read Jagex's game rules and just do a quick search for trust trading on the RSOF.

That's handy to know but it's also a little troubling to go into a dangerous area that you previously died at with such a high risk! Still nice little video.

It is against the rules. Trust Trading falls under the Scamming rule and Jagex considers it "against the spirit of the game", that ol' BS. You also aren't permitted to make topics about trust trading on the RSOF, etc. I frequently get conflicting answers between Fmods and Player Mods though, player mods frequently saying it falls under scamming and Fmods only saying "what's ingame is between you and the other player". I don't know personally if that's a lack of communication between those that run both member groups or what, but at the end of the day the bottom line is Jagex has expressed their displeasure with the activity and can't make up their mind, yet people still get action taken against them. It's not a wise practice to take up. It's a shame because your idea sounds like it's well meaning and helpful, but you run the risk of getting reported.

The Tutorial was fantastic. The only problem? The highest quality tutorial and introduction for the game that actually felt like a part of RuneScape while still teaching people about the game...is members only. Still, the audio and voiceacting--always great. The atmosphere of the area was really well done and made a more fertile ground for future Burthrope-based quests. I really liked it overall. I can't wait to redo the burthrope area quests.
