Back in my day people read the topic title to understand what the point of things were.

firemaking's curse
I'm aware of what I wrote. And I don't agree with high level content not adding or changing anything.

firemaking's curse
So then don't make any high level quests until basically every aspect in runescape is retooled to remove the grind, ignoring the fact that this is an MMORPG and grinding is part of the game. It's a lovely ideal but it's seriously impractical. In the meantime we'll deprive ourselves--we, not Jagex, because we complain as a majority--of further incentives to explore boring content, or to reobtain a quest cape. A cape, by the way, which does nothing for the average player except for being pretty at the moment yet has the ability to actually be difficult to obtain if people weren't so gun-shy. I don't know, I just really don't agree with your viewpoints.

firemaking's curse
It's an MMORPG. That's par the course. It just makes no sense to lower the reqs and saying it's because they want more people to "experience this great story". Does that mean they don't intend to make the quest cape as difficult to get as a most higher-end capes, like they said? Does that mean all high level quests will have crappy stories because they want 'more people to experience it'? Hopefully I'm not the only person that sounds absolutely absurd to. Meh, at the end of the day, I'll still be able to do the quest. I just hope this isn't going to keep happening.

Dominion tower
I'm refusing to dom tower until they allow to skip tbh.

That's completely fair. Deadliest Catch was an absolute joke, so I can see where you got the conclusion from. Oh well, they lowered the reqs anyway.

Behind The Scenes January
I hope the actual rewards from the methods of training to be released with this quest haven't been nerfed to match the now-lowered reqs. Complaining won this time, I guess.

How do you know it won't be a hard quest?

Stealing resource spots
Yes, and as a result, they have an equal right to opening themselves up to competition. But there is no competition. They're at the spot first, you come along and force them out. And it's impossible to Have a competition, because the high levels refuse to let the low levels train for their own selfish reasons. There is competition, because everyone has equal right to try at that resource spot. You can't get around that. You can try to be courteous but at the end of the day you're putting yourself into a competitive action.

Just finished the christmas event today. Last minute success.- firemaking's curse
It's not really stupid. If people don't want to do it, they don't have to. It's not as if the Quest Cape offers great stats for people to sacrifice their playing style in order to re-obtain it. It's a great step in the right direction that is finally in line with how difficult they wanted the Quest Cape to be all along.- Behind The Scenes January
? The fming quest lists constitution as a requirement. Were the second quest for the month's requirements listed and I missed them? :3- is snapdragon farming good money?
Just my two cents, but you would have to value your farming experience at ridiculously high amounts to have that be a determining factor. Most people primarily do herbs for profit, since the xp you get is so little per pick. You're lucky to even hit 5k exp/patch. 4.9k/herb to a 7k seed for ranarrs 6.8k/herb to a 31k seed for snapdragons- It's Super Effective!

It works, but not well. The number of assumptions you have to make to get from point a to the conclusion is quite large. I just can't agree that it was intentionally laid out as you proposed, considering how shallow the presentation of the quest was. You did write out a well detailed concept though. Maybe they should get you to work on the quests, huh? Lol- 20-December-2011 Christmas Event
They attacked the leader of a group of arcane beings--even though they didn't know Lucien was unlikely to receive any help from his brethren--without a second though. I'm not exactly sure if that possibility is strong enough to be considered. Zaaps does have a great point, especially since their magic was strong enough to give our character a sending of the trouble to come using areas from Gielnor and obscure people from our character's lives to send a strong emotional message. Much of RotM had these strange little leaps of logic in them, and it's nice to fill in the gaps, but I really think it was an oversight on the quest writer's part.- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
I've beaten Skyrim's main storyline, so now I'm starting my second character and go for my traditional archer that I usually do. Huzzah.- Behind The Scenes January
Happens to me alllllllll the time. :P I actually thought you'd lose coins in your money pouch if you died in the wilderness because I misread it and missed the explanation. D'oh.- Behind The Scenes January
