Hotfix: Toy Horsey Phrases
I would love to know why they're hesitating, but in the meantime, this is mostly good.

New Skill?
And you believe that because........? Why would fixing a skill be better than a new skill? Some skills, or rather how they're trained, are so boring that they actually detract from the game experience, and negative experiences tend to influence the player's opinion of the game than a positive experience. Firemaking and Runecrafting are the obvious contenders here. I still whine to this day about being made to get 70 Runecrafting to wield a Celestial Surgebox for Dungeoneering. Even if Runecrafting was 'fixed' you would have still encountered training other skills to continue to speed up Dungeoneering training. Perhaps your comparison wasn't the best choice >_>

This just in, different organizations have different goals and guidelines when analyzing games and might come to different opinions! There's nothing wrong with being a bit proud with your game.

New Skill?
That's a bold quote to make considering the fact that we have no information regarding development time for other skills to compare it to.

The only thing I can say I dislike about this is the seemingly synonymous "training method" and "D&D". A weekly event is not a viable training method. It's fun, it's nice, and it's cool to have exp for it...but I highly doubt anyone will approach them with the mindset of "I will only do this from level 74 to 99 from now on"

New Skill?
I'm personally hoping that there's no new skill because of how involved the combat rework will be. (Personal desire, I have no idea if the combat rework will be that involved or not.)

mutated jadinkos
They're bad because of many things, but the most relevant to you being you're killing with profit in mind. They have no real good drops to speak of, and the only silver lining of them would be the elite scrolls and the favor you get (which in turn translates to good seeds depending on overworld setup).

Guards would be better profit than babies but their profit is overall terrible. Just using your normal melee gear and heal either with SS or Unicorn. Or food if you don't have either. If money making is your goal, you're better off killing something else or even just gathering stuff.

They really deserve some credit for making another choice-based quest. Those are always the coolest. <3

firemaking's curse
Since when is that hte case for a GAME? Since every single RPG that was almost ever made. If you don't like it, then clearly this isn't your sort of game. There's nothing to blow the whistle on here. The game is working exactly as it should, in this respect. It's not a lofty, bs laden debate of principles, and people need to stop trying to turn it into one. Ah, and thanks for the info about the ratios. Though, if that was true and he wanted a 'quest at every other level' (assuming he was still allowed to enforce such a goal) then I don't understand where the heel-digging-in is coming from. It has to happen some time sooner or later, if what he says is to be believed.

firemaking's curse
I've actually never heard such a thing before, about grinding/questing ratios... It's so impossible to maintain something like that; only someone talking out their backside would ever consider possible. It's really why I can't believe Jagex ever said that before >_>' As for why is it considered normal? The rewards. If you want to just be immersed in the lore, go watch a youtube video of it. It's the standard, "if you're not willing to put in the work to get the reward, you don't deserve to obtain it."

Runescape gets a facelift - google news
I believe a BIG part of Runescape's success is based on it's accessibility. It's the top of browser games in terms of quality and gives it some reputation as well. Plus, the developers at Jagex right now are familiar with this engine, this kind of development - I don't think making it client based would be better for Runescape. Yeah, but compare it with another java-based game. Say, minecraft for example. Both available for download, and able to be run in browser.

Farming guide, quick mention
Valid yeah, sure. Can't argue that since the free lyre tele method works...once a day. -_- But the requirements for it are above average (sea boot 2) and not as accessible as simply popping into the ge and picking up a 20k RoW/2k tele scroll. Less to carry, less to worry about, and overall just less of wasted time. It's a needlessly complicated process to worry about Lyre teles. The entry was made before both pieces of content were added to the game. It's outdated. So no, it's not really worth mentioning it at all honestly to the average player, and better to list more easy, fast, accessible methods like the fairy ring, the ring tele, and the scroll. :/ If you were listing ways to get to Relleka it would make sense to include lyres; since there are now multiple ways to get to Miscellenia without taking the boat there, it's not necessary. Even if you did make such a list, chipped house tablets would be a better alternative than lyres.

Farming guide, quick mention
For the South-west Etceteria bush patch, it states some of the easiest ways to get there is the Enchanted Lyre or fairy rings, but it fails to mention the Ring of Wealth teleport or the Miscellania scrolls. Both methods are significantly faster than using enchanted lyres, which are quite annoying to use because of their low charges and methods of obtaining.

New Skill?
You're saying one thing and arguing another though. Sorry, hope you understand my confusion. :/

New Skill?
I know that. I'm not trapped in the past lol. But when people compare 'old' to 'new', they tend to think RSC skills versus those that came out after RS2. Hunter and construction are certainly not flimsy, having well fleshed out rewards and skills with them, but they're certainly not great game-changers with how we play the game. Runecrafting, Summoning, Slaying, Farming, Dungeoneering--all fine examples of dramatic game changers. Farming barely squeaking it in from behind and clinging to such a status by its fingernails, but it's there. Without it, people wouldn't be able to use such game-breaking content like overloads so freely, surely. And besides, if we're truly going off new skills, say the last two skills released, then that even further undermines such a strange argument because Summoning and Dungeoneering are arguably the most useful and impacting skills we have available to us today... You can't get around that it's a 'flimsy' argument.

I would have loved to listen to it without the effects.

New Skill?
Runecrafting? Summoning? Farming? Slayer? Dungeoneering? None of the 'new skills' were flimsy. Wanting old content to be better is all well and good but it makes no sense to undermine your own argument like that :/

[Suggestion] Add item/monster/quest names to title bar.
The whole path is longer than the typical length of a tab to display what you're actually looking at. I mean that if I open up 5 different beastiary entries, I see basically "Tip.it RuneScape Help >> Be..." 5 different times without really knowing which is which. It would be more helpful to me, personally, if it displayed <entry> >> Tip.it RuneScape Help or something.

Akrisae can be very easily killed with no pray, though. It doesn't make sense to pray against him, much less attack him first.
