  1. NOPE. The quest is only possible because we left a shattered elder artifact just lying on a dolmen for any joe schmoe to pick up. We have to get it back, you see... Don't you dare toy with my heart ALG. Though you're likely right. It just bothers me immensely as I'm sure my whining has let everyone know.
  2. YES FINALLY We're not going to leave a shattered elder artifact just lying on a dolmen for any joe schmoe to pick up. Thank god.
  3. I think getting that militant, muleheaded man to leave his faith would be very difficult. But I guess that perception of him could easily change throughout the course of this quest.
  4. Maybe, but it's not that far a stretch of the imagination to think of daemonheim-specific divine energy resource spots to make pocket slot items for dg. So somehow this energy we're collecting and transmuting is saving Gielinor presumably by healing these rifts as they form across the map. Are we using the energy from Guthix to mend the rifts by exchanging it for exp, then?
  5. what made you think the ram was faulty in the first place without checking if anything else was fried? can't really think a better way to put that so I just want to say that I DON'T mean that in a negative way.
  6. Dear Auror, I am contact letting u no that joking is strictly 5bidden because jagex. Greetz, Keem
  7. If they did that though, that would essentially be "buying" auras. At that point they might as well allow them to be purchased with Runecoins. In that's really their line of thought, then I agree with Jagex, since it works towards limiting the pay-to-win aspect of MT's.
  8. leik your username is really dumb right now you should change it back again. :)
  9. I mentioned nothing about buying loyalty store items with runecoins. I was talking about this: Many, but not all...which is why I said I think armor packs, achievement banners, and other big-price items likely won't be buyable with loyalty points. That was the only reference I made about loyalty points purchasing Solomon store items. Saving it how, by taking away its life force and making it into objects? That's assuming the anima mundi is a renewable resource. Otherwise, it'd likely be hurting things lore wise, can't imagine the Elder Gods who created Gielinor would be too happy with that. And Guthix's dispersed energy almost certainly seems like a finite source, since it came from one being. The planet is "wounded" so to speak and this is its life force oozing out. Wouldn't it make more sense to stop the bleeding rather than taking that blood and using it to make something that helps you poop out dragonstones faster? <_<' I'm sure it'll all be cleared up in the lore, just sounds...weird and illogical so far.
  10. You're pretty jealous of her affection so I'm kind of surprised you're not freaking out about her wanting to play it fast and loose. It should hopefully be pretty clear what you should do. You're a strong dude and you know what you want. If you want anything more than a fling at this point, this girl isn't for you. Easier said than done, but I think you should end it. You telling her its over, and why, is an important message that she probably needs to hear and I think you deserve the measure of self respect it could help you find. When she was chatting with Rob, was she also drunk?
  11. If I had the funds to throw at my screen for 99's, I'd probably do it regardless of how much I liked the skill or not. At that point I wouldn't consider the training the rewarding part of the journey, just the fun that could be had afterwards similar to dungeoneering past lvl90. That's the problem with "fun."
  12. Knew they were going to merge Solomon's and the loyalty store. Well, that's pretty nice I guess. Does this mean that the loyalty store outfits will now become cosmetic overrides? You can't buy every item with loyalty points, though, so I suspect that companions, gear sets, bank boosters, achievement banners (the big-buys) won't be able to be purchased with loyalty points. Still, this marks a pretty huge step forward for Jagex and I think it's a really nice move. I'm worried that the increase in points per month is because loyalty purchase rates are going to be very high though to keep the incentive to buy runecoins there. The idea of siphoning the Anima Mundi really...makes me...concerned. But it's hardly fair to judge an entire skill off a few paragraphs, so I'll just have to wait and reserve judgement. but come on really I always sort of thought that divination would just be the gathering portion, and the second skill for making the pocket slot items. Since that doesn't seem to be the case, I wonder then what we're going to do with the energy. Is it just going to be a divine version of Construction? Completely frustrating that it's been pushed off to 2014, likely not to be released until mid-year as Divination was. Still, it was always a bit of starry eyed optimism to hope for two skills in one year, I suppose. With it being 3 years since the last skill release, it kind of reminds me of the infamous whiteboard we saw from one of the runefest videos where we saw something about the interfaces on the whiteboard, and just how long they must've been working on NIS alone (if that was for the NIS, that is). Crazy. Anyway, I'm off to find out the terms of the sig bet I lost oh so long ago when we were speculating on the Black Knight Fortress rework. You're utterly right. After the push back of the summoning rework, divination, html5 beta, new skill, not to mention all the delays prior to that from the eoc, smithing rework, etc it is completely and utterly unjustified to be upset in the slightest. Really, anyone who gets upset is clearly a neanderthal who has no desire to simply accept the reality of today's world. Shame on them. Shame on their family. ...Laid it on a bit thick there, but you get the point. It's understandably a surprise to the average player, even if we could've guessed that it'd be delayed after the delay with the HTML5 beta.
  13. What I'm kind of curious now is, if botwatch has never incorrectly added a user's play-style to its profile list then this would be repeated human error. Except now Jacmob's investigating it, which sort of leans to botwatch automatically doing it. If that's the case - and it sure does look like it - then I'm actually really surprised no one's jumping down his and any other jmod who defended botwatch for being incorrect like what usually happens.
  14. Mish bro you know I love you but that's exactly what you just did :s
  15. Oh I thought you did with Jesse and Leik o_O Sorry didn't mean anything bad by it...
  16. Even with the hopeful release of more bankspace for purchase via the loyalty store, I hope that Divination will follow the trend skills typically had of offering a slight bank size increase for members. Each thing that gets added to the game usually stuffs a person's bank with at least one to three new bits of stuff and it's really added up over the years since Summoning's release. If not, no big deal, we've all managed this long and that free bank booster was a huge help. But a gal can dream!
  17. For some reason I thought you were already maxdg, probably because you sold floors a lot Anyway grats on OLELEL and 110 dg
  18. The Shadow Realm? [snip] Do you think we could con a quest dialog writer to make Sliske say "Screw the rules, I have money"? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5IxePSWRRc
  19. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Membership_Package They currently cannot be purchased.
  20. Constant focus on a goal and activity. It might wax and wane throughout your playtime, but it's there and stronger than the average player's. People do put that much attention and focus into achieving goals. That is the level of "anal" attention to detail I refer to. Lordy I shall never use the word "anal" in vain again. I have learned my lesson. May my confession purge me of my sin of discussion. You also assume you'll maintain that many hours. It's likely, but there's always a chance something can take you away. If we're assuming that people shouldn't stop their goals just because the outcome looks impossible, then I don't see the need to get upset when it's stated that someone will really need to put in hard hours and hard focus into bridging the gap.
