They didn't really say that he's got a relationship to Zaros though. Honestly I thought that was just a cheeky comment about us looking to deep into things, though I guess it could be an implication. Ocellus - little eye or darling (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/ocellus) (If that's not exactly right, don't bite my head, it was the best I could do from google.) I can't think of how that would relate to Zaros.

He said there wouldn't be changes to the xp, not the game itself.

I still think Xbox offers the superior online service. According to early reports, the new games you'll earn via the XBL program will persist even if your membership lapses - unlike the PSN. Even the ustream partnership is lacking. At a hard-limit of 10gb storage with PSN and ustream, it's more of a management hassle to stream and save with a hard limit, especially if you do multiple broadcasts a day. Twitch has no limit, but permanently deletes your streams a few days later plus including a simple "Save" feature. Monetization seems harder to get into for twitch than Ustream, requiring some pretty steep requirements (400+ regular audience, regular broadcasts, no DMCA claims). Ustream doesn't seem to have that problem though their pricing plans that allow for better monetization are absolutely ridiculous. This is pretty low on many people's priority list, but still. They're important factors if both consoles are trying to be comparable to entry-level pcs and what they can offer. 1. https://www.ustream....ans#annualplans 2. http://www.twitch.tv/partner/signup 3. http://help.twitch.t...-videos-deleted

I'm almost certain Miri told her she'd never bear children again in the book and the show.
-
They had to give Gendry those conflicts, if you think of who he was replacing from the books. He's not a child, but a man. Moreover, a man recently betrayed by people he was ready to embrace as friends. I really don't think their personal views are warping the characters. Stannis was always showcased as a ruthless, uncompromising man who would latch onto what was right until it killed him. His defense of the wall is where he will shine. Likewise with Dany. She's a young woman, can't bear children, wants to protect everyone with her lofty idealism - same as the book. Are they perfect carbon copy representations of what we see in Martin's characters, compared to Weiss'? Not exactly. But the differences in them seem more likely to be victims of television storytelling than writers who don't understand the source material.

I totally missed that. That IS nice.

Well, technically, the new gold membership will give more games per month, plus it already has things like party chat, etc. PSN is still lagging behind on that front, which you'd think they'd hurry up and correct since they're instituting a paywall. But still, not like there isn't plenty of time to fix that. PS4 is stronger than the Xbox One, according to reports. No surprise there.

$400 Ahahahahhahahahahhahahaahahaaa Well. There it goes

I really hate it that this guy is saying all this stuff about DRM we already knew, and everyone is just lapping at his heels.

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!

+ almost a mil in alchables How much do those keystones even go for anyway? Worth it to try to get signets? -
TV has the disadvantage of not having any convenient means of an internal dialogue. They need a supporting character to be a sounding board against. Since they killed off the ones that could've been there for her (her handmaidens) there aren't a lot of options left. It has to be someone she'd be near in private, where it'd make sense for her character to shed what she thinks is the noble attitude she's supposed to have as the 'rightful heir' to the Seven Kingdoms. Selmy is really the only one that fits the bill for that, or maybe her new hand maiden she saved from the Slavers. [spoiler=book stuff]Once she comes into all the problems she faces in Yunkai and the selfless (though misguided) decisions she makes there, I feel like it'll be easier to connect and sympathize with her. Likewise, Stannis has had a lot of his personal discussions with other characters that made him more sympathetic - or at least, easier to understand why he's such a jerk. [spoiler=bookstuff]Hopefully when he comes to the aid of the Wall and he is forced out of Melisandre's grip a bit we'll see the "good" side of doing his duty at any cost.

............Were we watching the same conference last year? This is about the same quality as last year. Same amount of new IPs, rehashed games, and party games.
-
I feel like they made binding shot work even less often than it did upon release, but that's likely my imagination. But oh well. No more hunting Gladii for me then, back to the Scutarii. They've got better drops anyway.

Every time Aisha Tyler pauses for laughs, the silence is deafening. God I hope her role in this is brief.

Everything that neogaf guy leaked has so far been announced and he, for almost nine years running, continues to be a source of reliable information. Also, Mirror's Edge 2 announced. First thrill of excitement all e3.

As a member of the times, you could just ask Tripsis yourself to have them tweeted about. But I'll do it for you :P

No moreso a swing than when MGS Revengance was released cross console. This isn't the first time it's happened with a canon MGS story. The PS3 version looked and played better. What will be the "big blow" is if that is no longer the case in this new gen of consoles. The PS3's power was one of its greatest selling points. It depends on how much of a loss Sony wants to take this time around on consoles, I guess. It's E3 with a new generation of consoles. Say what you'd like about DRM and all that nonsense but it's a great time to be a fan of any new console. Everything is new to the player, from features to new IPs to continuing titles. Likely there's going to be a price drop announced for the WiiU, fingers crossed. Otherwise it'll remain a dusty number on my VG to-purchase list.
-
IIRC they didn't list it as exclusive. It will likely be cross-platform. And with the announced pricetag of $499..well, yeah Let's not. The WiiU has failed to perform so far, and I don't even expect that to change following the nintendo direct conference.
-
? I don't recall them mentioning that they'd be releasing anything else in june aside from what was announced.
-
http://www.gametrailers.com/netstorage/e3/live.html E3 starts today. Conference lineup: --Monday, June 10, 2013 Microsoft Press Conference - 1 p.m. ET EA Press Conference - 4 p.m. ET Ubisoft Press Conference - 6 p.m. ET Sony Press Conference - 9 p.m. ET --Tuesday, June 11, 2013 Nintendo Direct - 10 a.m. ET ---- So far they showed a badass looking trailer for MGS5: The Phantom Pain. Trailer shown for Dark Souls 2 dev'd for Xbox One - no mentions of exclusivity so likely on multiplatforms.

It is, because both low and high are entirely subjective, which is made quite clear throughout this little offshoot of discussion. But here I am engaging in the wheel-spinning, oh boy. I really need to stop doing that.
-
Yeah I'm not doubting, but a group of five friends said they all got their 1st signets around the 100th kill. So you were just saying your friends are doubting it for giggles, then
-
That in itself is a contradiction.
