Forum moderators are chosen for their understanding of the rules, their maturity, and community presence. If you think you're moderator material, then keep to the previously listed standards and eventually you will be noticed and likely contacted. If you don't, you can still be a valuable member of the community by actively and responsibly using the report function to report posts that violate our forum rules. The moderating team as a whole works in an unbiased fashion as you've requested. In my personal opinion, the volunteers on staff right now are one of the most professional and proficient teams we've ever had. That said, all members are encouraged to contact an administrator if they feel a moderator isn't doing their job properly. They look into it - promise. The only thing that will revitalize the tavern, or the clan section, or the The Art Gallery, or the RS Media subcommunities that we have that aren't as active as they used to be is community initiative. Those are the sorts of things that draws new people to you. You don't need a moderator tag next to your name to help you do those things, and if you contact the moderation staff they'll help you with whatever you need. If you want, I can tweet your RP sessions to Tip.it's official feed; an administrator would likely help you if you presented a well written request for front-page notice for any rp session (possibly); you could get in contact with a Tip.it Times writer and either collaborate or submit a guest article about roleplaying in runescape and work the tavern into it if you'd like. There's no end to the possibilities. The staff's not out to block you in these things -- we're here to help. So just drop us a line if you need us, respect the forum rules, and keep a strong presence in the community if you want the Tavern to live again. But a rank won't be a magical cure-all. :P

If the past decade is any indication of the future, any work they did would be devalued almost 10yrs later since the majority of the best armor/weaponry is tied into monster drops and can't be crafted. (In the case of smithing/crafting/runecrafting, at least.)

It was survival in the last 2 iterations, kind of surprised with the switch to creative. That essentially kills my interest in it personally, but I'm just one person so hey. Gotta go with the group I guess.

It's not fair that she's pressuring you guys into a "meet the parents phone conference" to exchange contact information like you're a child going to a sleep over. You're an adult. There are some concessions that you have to make since you owe them so much, I'm sure...but maybe you need to have a serious discussion with them about cutting the apron strings, so to speak. There seems to be pressure and your parent's negativity towards her getting thrown your way and maybe it's contributing to the worrying, so maybe its worth considering. (You know the 'your girlfriend's girlfriend' scenario of a girl and her best friend, the one who talks shit about you to your girlfriend, and it causes the girlfriend to go 'hey yeah why doesn't he do <overblown thing> for me?' and there's huge fights? It kind of feels like that...but with you and your parents.) You're getting wound up over a text and likely your constant requests (however polite) are probably striking a nerve. It's probably a good idea to figure out why before you start working out in your head all these dreadful scenarios of neglect, broken trust, unfair treatment in regards to travel pay, etc. You're all about ready to have a go at her for not talking with you right after she told you she's got a bunch on her plate right now. I think you seriously need to take a step back and calm down before you shatter a relationship over a trivial matter. (And yes it IS trivial that she didn't give you her home phone number straightaway, although understandably frustrating.)

So the pie at least will be consumed in 2 bites instead of one. Twice the adrenaline drain for foods of a comparable level...I can't even see myself using something like that on Dorelei. o_O Adrenaline is just too important for me as a low-level on that account. While I highly doubt they would've only just found out how to cure and smoke meats in the 6th Age, I'll suspend disbelief and try to roll with it and have fun.

Even if he did, that would mean the Lannisters - who Gregor was sworn to - would still be in power through Myrcella. With Arianne Martell unwed and Aegon returning to the Seven Kingdoms to begin his campaign, it's likely he'd wed her to him instead and join Dorne's forces with Aegon's. But Margaery's been used as a pawn to take down Cersei since the beginning of the books. They tried to force her on Robert, then on Renly when they thought he would win, then on her sons who she tried to erode the authority Cersei had over them. She has the love, adoration, and respect that Cersei never had. She's youthful and beautiful, whereas Cersei was just made as undesireable and unappealing as a woman could feel when she was forced to do her literal walk of shame. And then, there's the upcoming trial for both of them. I still think Margery will be the one her little fortunetelling granny warned her of. E: You could be spot on though with the Jamie call.
