  1. If you continually judge "high level" content by difficulty of training or quality of the skill/structure of the skill... You are going to have a circular discussion on whether or not something is "difficult" or counts as an achievement or anything else where no progress is made and it just deepens the divide of elitist hate/despising noobs even more bad time.
  2. Vamp is regularly traded and often bounces between 350-800k depending on where it is in the cycle. The periods of 800k only last a day or so, but when they happen you can cash in a tidy sum of money. Cruelty hasn't actually risen all that much since I still think there's a popular force removal glitch out there that makes the effect persist (hearsay, but from a very competent PVMer) so I'd be hesitant to invest in that.
  3. God my reading comprehension is in the shitter today then. Thank you for correcting me, Binary. @_@
  4. Aren't you forgetting Juna, guardian of the Tears of Guthix - which were the magical energies mixed with runestone to create the Ascended? Nevermind, your breakdown includes 6, even if Juna was added (and it was mentioned earlier in the post) it wouldn't bring the count to 8. My bad.
  5. I'm really only happy about the charms being added. Pretty neutral on them increasing keystone drops considering the rate of signet drops from the bosses. That is a massive risk for such a low margin. That makes me nervous. Then again when you've got that kind of cash to throw around I guess the risk of taking a 50m loss if people panic doesn't really matter much.
  6. If the entry level player had absolutely no use or alternatives for bronze in that case and the useless bronze was now being given a use for t90 players? Yeah. That seems fine to me considering the price would not remain high and would soon lower to a far more reasonable level due to farming it. Which is exactly what we saw happen with almost every dragon item drop released ever. It's overreacting to claim that it was the worst facet of the update, plain and simple. As an aside, the only way to fix this mess is restructuring the entire concept of dragon items. And they can't do that yet since they're tied to lore/mh'ing/quests; unfortunately, that'd be a wasted effort when there's still a smithing rework to be released later on.
  7. I took the absolute bare minimum because I figured those who consider the dragon crossbow's price as a t60 weapon a problem would have low earning potential, hence the 100k/day...or they just didn't realize that the dragon crossbow has very little use at all in the long run. Though hopefully since you're remarking on the absurdity of that given how briefly players are in the t60 range, you already know that the fact that this update "made t60 crossbows harder for t60 rangers to get" is a really odd thing to list as a bad thing. If anything, it's pretty neutral. Wut. I've yet to see one after a few hours of camping, but I guess I just have bad luck. It's good to know that the droprates for them aren't as dismal as I originally thought. Yay statistics!
  8. Level 60 rangers have the demonslayer crossbow, which according to the wiki against non-demons it's around a t57 weapon's accuracy. This only costs 2mil if they absolutely need a 1h bolt weapon. 2mil might be a lot of money to some people, but even making 100k a day would get you to your goal in less than a month. And there's plenty other non-bolt weapons to use in its place at a lower price (thrown weaponry) if you ability spam to limit consumption of throwables.
  9. In regards to forum discussion tweets, I haven't sent any tweets about the bts/discussion threads due to my schedule. That should change soon. As for website features & updates (which most people follow the feed for, I'm sure!) I can't say as I don't do them.
  10. Houseparties are always plentiful, ardy capes are faster recharges for prayer, diango holds the majority of exp boosting items, sup restores are dirt cheap for sum points (failing that, lodestone tele after any other instant tele)... Honestly, the only rooms that have remote use that can't be used elsewhere in other player's homes are the costume room and either the kitchen or dungeon depending on your levels. While I personally like my house because I have my own altar/tele spots/etc, I can definitely see why many feel construction is worthless...which is the whole reason it needs a rework, isn't it?
  11. I googled a term to describe apathy because I wanted to respond to your post all nonchalantly ... and was greeted with not only a hairy man's genitalia, but neanderthal boobs. I'm so [bleep]ing done.
  12. Quite frankly, I think you missed the big point: the majority of dung community does not include the majority of the rs community - which is what quests tend to cater to. I am well aware of how there are core communities that are keeping DG alive but tell me the last time you went to a group world in a non-leech/non3bo group that didn't have *that guy* who was an absolute moron and dragged down the whole team. I'd really rather not see that extend to quests. It doesn't make any sense unless they tailored it to party quest styles featured in many other mmo's which eventually become either obsolete as new PQs are released or the main/only reasonable way to train things.
  13. Group quests, in my mind, would fail for the same exact reason dg failed as a group activity gameworld-wide (aka outside of clans): RS players, by and large, are absolutely moronic and cannot handle simple team efforts. If you're in a situation where you're forced out of your normal friend group to access content, you're going to have a [bleep]ing miserable time more often than not.
  14. That's why you don't marry anyone without living with them for an extended period of time. You don't truly know someone until you see them in their environment.
  15. I really don't mind them at all, but according to that Above the Lore thing I've already lost my sig bet with Hedge & co since there isn't going to be two quests... >_>'
  16. You literally answered your own questeion here. You mean how they barely break even from advertisements for the free world?
  17. i would've put more effort into it if his picture wasn't cutting off a sliver of his face/neck do you know how many tom cruise photos i had to look for one even remotely acceptable i'm thinking of joining scientology, that's how many
  18. My spot of good fortune. I haven't had oxheads unlocked for a particularly long time and I count myself very lucky. but i really don't want to fire my merchant just yet ;_;
  19. Grabbed this post from another thread, but at timestamp 0:47 seconds that re-recording is absolutely lovely. Is that one of the audio samples we already heard from another BTS and I've just gone a bit crazy, or...?
