    One thing that I see mentioned is that they brought out advertising for the poll only when it started to go bad. Does anyone truly believe that they honestly never would've advertised it, at all, on any of their outlets no matter how the poll was faring? Advertising it was pretty much a given since they do it for everything, and to call that as a means of denouncing the whole thing always seemed...really...really strange to me.

    I'd still be okay with that on the condition that they made this video the official trailer for RuneScape over that other weird one.

    But isn't that why they wrote out an apology instead of just a belated delay notice? Considering the quality of communication they had in the past, I didn't expect even that. Disgruntlement at having to wait & being ignored, I totally get, but this is better than what they usually do.

    I don't know why the apology wasn't enough? Even if you weren't distracted with 2007scape, the fact that they said anything on the matter other than "yeah shut up guys, it's coming" is a little surprising. I think it should at least be acknowledged they made a bit of improvement there.

    Am I going a bit goofy or is the vote counter gone? Nevermind, found it haha. I don't see the counter on the front page anymore so I just stopped being a lazy git and went to the voting page linked in the original news article. Only 408k votes :/ I would happily trade away weekly updates for basic with a smaller team for it to be free to members. I'm not playing this just so it can be a clone of the current-day game anyway. (Though it wouldn't be terrible, I just value one more highly than the other.)

    I totally understand why they want 500k votes for free-to-members access...but we probably won't get that in less than 4 days. I can't get mad at them for it, but I'm really sad that beyond this month I won't have access to the 2007scape servers, since I won't be able to pay the extra fee. The early release really pricked the bubble to drain out the anticipation that fueled the speed of the voting. Deviously smart, got to give them credit for it. Heh, I remember getting ragged on by someone about that when I mentioned it, as if I was demanding that Jagex pay for everything rather than simply saying, "Aw that sucks" with a bit of sadness and moving on. Real crazy stuff. I hope they'll consider having separate memberships like they did for funorb, so I can just switch entirely. That I might be able to manage if it's around what I'm paying now or at least comparable to current day membership rates. Dare to dream, right?

    Tripsis just removed it from the censor list after reviewing the situation. The word was 'slut.' Normally stupid words will be removed from the censor if you contact an admin but what Kaida says stands: try not to evade the censor. And that'll be the last I post on here about modcrap for a while. Sorry for derailing.

    Tragedies are usually used to describe big events, tragic to describe individual things. Both words are used to describe the same emotions: extreme sadness, despair regardless. Even if it's an expected hurricane or a random quirk of fate, they are both capable of triggering those feelings in us in the aftermath. So is something any less of a tragedy or tragic event because a few people aren't affected as deeply? There are a portion of people who are affected that deeply, and one shouldn't erase the other.

    I'm a little late, but I love that you do a monthly update breakdown. That information is always awesome to read at a glance. You certainly are productive! I couldn't stand red sallies for that very reason, it was just so obnoxiously crowded. Grats on 89 hunter! :)
