  1. They said they will share a similar relationship, not precisely that one will gather one will finish. The fact that they're being released at different points in the year might confirm what others have hinted at: that this will have a time element and can't strictly be "grinded". We'll likely see that 'giving' side of the relationship they spoke of first to prepare for the "taking" side later in the year.
  2. I sort of thought Quin was the "baddie" or at least the behind-the-scenes baddie/original baddie for all of the PoP content.

You haven't mastered abilities as much as you thought then.
  4. He would just dodge them again. If you go there, you want to be nice and try to make connections/network as much as a typical rs'er I'd think.
  5. I'm in the Hook region, and got it with yesterday's reset....soooo if your area of focus determines what region-type captain you can recruit, then it was the Hook region captain. I dunno if that's right or not though.
  6. I hired a captain with base 300 stats for 2.5k, the only exception to that was his morale was 500. I don't know if that's really worth the price.
  7. She doesn't have the luxury of time if she's deciding to keep the child. Hospital bills won't wait while she gets a pat on the back from her facebook friends. She needs someone to help her in order to ensure security for herself and the child. Being encouraging is one thing, and facebook isn't really the place to be having a discussion of that magnitude...but given her age and how inexperience and hormones are wrecking her reasoning I wouldn't be surprised if that was her chief means of communication.
  8. Ask Me (Almost) Anything. AMA's often appear on that hellhole, though I doubt it's only seen there. When did Q&A become "Ask Me (Almost) Anything"? That is terribly stupid. More descriptive actually than Jagex's typical Q&A and equally 'productive' with the added bonus of extra visibility on /r/runescape, /r/gaming, /r/ama, etc. If you're going to waste the lead designer's time, at least get some good advertisement out of it."Oh, excellent. reddit kids are exactly what RuneScape needs." - Nobody Ever I get it, you hate reddit but I'm not exactly talking about the shittier subreddits out there (/r/atheism, /r/funny, etc) Regardless the community there (/r/scape, /r/runescape) is a slightly more tolerable community than the RSOF collective...But what I was mostly referring to was the fact that the rsof is absolutely horrible for any exchange of information due to their board's poor functionality.
  9. Horrible, horrible assumption. It was a well known scam that should be obvious to anyone. Many people simply talked about that. But almost everyone agrees it's a good suggestion to allow inventories to be seen. But just because people were able to see past the flimsy, horrible scam does not mean they'd scam people.
  10. Quite simple really. See, the sails don't move the ship; the ship stays where it is, and the sails move the ocean around it. I do so love futurama references. But do these things increase/decrease voyage times?
  11. ...Someone tell me how it's possible that I 'ran out of ocean.'
  12. me_hate_libs was funny. Anyways are the added benefits worth the cost? Depends on how you personally view the extra spins, runecoins, and cosmetic crap.
  13. I doubt you'll get 107k all at once, that's not how the point distributing works.
  14. The difficulty hasn't scaled for me yet and it's not like these resources are locked into upgrading my ship. If the difficulty scales, I have the means to invest in the necessary ship upgrades. Don't know why that's a problem in the slightest. If you guys are right, then I will have plenty of time to prepare myself for the scaled difficulty well before I hit the 4k mark, which isn't going to hurt my overall effectiveness.
  15. I suspect you'll change your mind on this before you reach 4,000 slate. As you continue doing Hook missions and your progress bar advances, the difficulty increases. A third ship won't help you with dual 4.5k missions or single-stat 7.5k missions, and I've heard there are even worse. I'm 12% through and almost past 1k slate and still haven't had many 3/4 anchor missions over 3k-4k missions. Even the combined ones are 3.5k and those aren't hard at all.
  16. Most of my missions for slate have been pretty easy, which I'm extremely grateful for. I think I'm going to save all my slate for the ship upgrade as my first thing. I've got 700 slate so far...out of 4000 needed >_>'
  17. Shhh shhh... Don't question it.
  18. .....How on earth did you get from point a to point b on that one? A bit of a leap there, and I think he was using a bit of hyperbole, but since we've gone from the Loyalty Shop and RAF to full blown RWT of xp, gold, items and rares in the past 12 months, I'd say he'll probably end up being right this time next year. No, he won't. Jagex selling gear is inevitable but his claims of advertising like that to manipulate the market is just foolish. They don't need to do stuff like that to manipulate the items and make them more desirable.
  19. Ask Me (Almost) Anything. AMA's often appear on that hellhole, though I doubt it's only seen there. When did Q&A become "Ask Me (Almost) Anything"? That is terribly stupid. It's a reddit thing. If you're answering EVERY question, it's AMA. If you're only answering some questions (aka he was only answering questions relevant to a lead designer) it's an AMAA. More descriptive actually than Jagex's typical Q&A and equally 'productive' with the added bonus of extra visibility on /r/runescape, /r/gaming, /r/ama, etc. If you're going to waste the lead designer's time, at least get some good advertisement out of it. Don't mind it at all really -- reddit is vastly superior to the RSOF. No one should WANT a Q&A done on that shithole. No need to have a fit.
  20. Why is it necessary to call them runescape skills instead of just "skills" when we're obviously talking about runescape? >_>'
  21. .....How on earth did you get from point a to point b on that one?
  22. And for those 12 months, you're paying over the loyalty rate -- thus losing the rate to take this offer. Why is that so hard to understand @_@
  23. No. Tip.it died because of the moderators back in 2005 that dealt with the clan section. It was nazi central that resulted in DI boycotting the forums and at the time they were the trendsetters. When I was active in RS (two years ago maybe), tipit had plenty of traffic. Not the same as zybez (or as it was in '05), but still a steady traffic. Unless i'm missing something, i'd blame it on the clan world. Everywhere seems dead compared to what it was. He's talking about what caused the original shift. You should know that.
