Elder scrolls mmorpg
http://signup.elderscrollsonline.com/ Beta testing signups are open. I've got no chance in hell getting in with a laptop that can barely play anything, but maybe some of you guys can. Good luck to the applicants. @ that trailer, the elves look weird again. I thought we finally got past that.

21-Jan-2012 - Desert Tasks
I don't know if that makes it better or worse. :$

21-Jan-2012 - Desert Tasks
Not his fault, but we all know it's utter bull. I doubt this content was on hold from before the beta was created for it to have been designed with the old stat-se...but I guess there's a possibility is that there are some designers who still don't understand the post-EoC environment, but that's so utterly depressing I don't even want to contemplate it. I love tasks and this is no exception, but this goofy implementation so long after leaving the beta stages is getting really ridiculous now. Oh well. I had fun while doing them, even if it was somewhat dampened by the snafus of today.

11-Dec-2012 - Player-Owned Ports
I took the picture on the icon spot where I built the human skull for a reason: to show I already had an icon there. But the selection list says the Mammoth Skull is in every icon spot, when the other two are empty and the pictured spot above is currently reading as having two icons active. Could you explain a bit more because I'm not really sure what scrolling up to see what I have currently built -- when I know it's Human Skull -- will do for me. That's why I asked if that was a known glitch or not.

11-Dec-2012 - Player-Owned Ports
[hide][/hide] Well, this is odd. Is this a known glitch already? This is the only icon I have built, but across all icon hotspots I have the Biologist's icon as active, even when there's another icon built as shown above.

Elite desert task speculation?
Don't think previous sunfreet kills should count, since for the majority of people they were pre-eoc. Not exactly fair.

I do not want to see Surula bare. The clothes leave much to the imagination, and I'd like to keep it that way.

Dragon Age 3: Inquisition
Except Anders, if you're male Hawke. Yeah but if that's how the character just is, I don't think a lot of them were supposed to be advances. He's just a weird, needy character that's overall annoying. (Plus I got burned badly as he was the first character I made Hawke have a relationship, and, well, you know how that goes. Almost as bad as Fenris.)

Dragon Age 3: Inquisition
Same sex companions didn't hit on you unless you chose suggestive dialog. Maybe you should look at your choices in the game and why you chose them o_O I loved DA and DA2. So long as we don't repeat the pitfalls of ME3 and they take what they've learned (Leviathan DLC was great, for example, for rounding out the story) and keep sliding down the streamlining slide, it will be a great experience.

It's Super Effective!
It's not. That usage was okay (yours was borderline, and you knew it...probably shouldn't do that again, Guile) because of a lot of factors, actually: personal blog, movie quote, section of that movie was not obscene/wildly inappropriate, it wasn't used to hurt/target/attack anyone, it wasn't used in a vulgar context/sexual context, etc. Blogscape has no topicality. That's one of the reasons why it doesn't give any postcount in a similar fashion to Forum Games. Blogs always were to share ingame progress and communicate with friends, and over time it has evolved into what it is today. It's not a bad thing by any means. The majority of blogscape posters don't post with the intent of using this as their nuclear shelter from the rules, so it would be unfair to forbid this kind of exchange just because some people are irresponsible. :P Nope, but it is our fault for not communicating about blogscape's nature, and why some things seem more lax than others. That's something we're looking to change for the future, as well as more consistency within the section. All I can do is apologize for what's happened previously and assure you guys we're working on changing that for the better.

Jagex Company Status: Active - Proposal to Strike off
This post intrigues me. Why exactly does it matter where this post goes? 'Cause no one ain't got time for pre-apocalyptic ramblings - in real like or in virtual reality for that fact! No one is making this into an apocalyptic anything except maybe the people who don't want to discuss it.

Thoughts on the KALPHITE KING
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMxH7JLVdhc I highly encourage you guys to post a topic once we have more information! The BTS will be released sometime next week (fingers crossed that it's released on time!) and at that time it will be more appropriate to have a discussion topic on it. :) Sorry for the inconvenience. PM me if you have any questions.

Your thoughts of 2 NEW RS SKILLS
I don't get the intended reference, but I do suddenly want to watch Finding Nemo.

Seriously, I Need Some Help!
Moved to Help & Advice. First off, welcome to tipit :) 1. No, we are a Platinum-ranked fansite. To find the official runescape forums, go to www.runescape.com and click "forum" to access the official RS forums. 2. You've already found them. :) 3. I have no idea what either of those forums are, so I can't compare our rules with theirs. I can, however, compare our rules with the official runescape forums and I would say we are more lenient than the official runescape forums. 4. http://forum.tip.it/topic/48092-tipit-forum-rules/ - You can find a link to the rules at any time by looking right next to the "View New Content" button on the right hand side of your screen. 5. I'll let someone else answer this. 6. Bank space for p2p items does not affect how much f2p bank space you have. Leave them on the off chance your parents change their mind, since they're not negatively impacting your gameplay. 7. The game will tell you where you can't go as a member. We have a map of the f2p world here: http://www.tip.it/runescape/html/world_map_f2p.htm 8. Runescape is not like many other games :P You're welcome to make a topic in our RuneScape Suggestions board if you want -- provided you remember we're not the RSOF :P 9. There are no day/night cycles in RS, some areas are darker and some areas are lighter. The game has its own unique art style just like many other MMORPGs out there do.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
But you'd never date an 85yr old so that isn't accurate :P

Then maybe for the purpose of informing people instead of saying "you can't" we should simply say "there's a bug right now where a small population can still fail at a displayed success of 100% due to a rounding error but it's rare" etc etc Otherwise we're just having roundabout arguments on semantics again.

I hardly call 5k cwars games easy or fun. That's true for a lot of people...but it doesn't really address bruno's point. People will often seek the easiest way out regardless of how much they enjoy something. Just because you wouldn't doesn't really change that fact. Even if they cut the requirement in half that's still an ungodly amount of play time and people will complain that it's still too many games, etc etc etc etc.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
TBH it was extremely hard to get through the supporting articles Muggi lists, especially because I think BD is a misogynistic dom (and a bad one at that), but if you can choke past that they're actually really interesting reads even if you don't agree with the lifestyle. Simply learning how different the dynamic is in those relationships (again, taking the bullshit man-is-god alpha spiel with a hefty grain of salt) is pretty cool. I will say that I brought up the subject with John to see how he felt about it. I started the discussion with a lengthy explanation of "this is not a 'subtle hint' or anything, yada yada." The discussion didn't get very far and asked why it was brought up. When I explained that it was the discussion I was having with Muggi a few months past that forced me to look at this aspect of relationships that I didn't know a lot about (which at the time he ignored me asking him to read it) he sort of just went "huh" and left it at that. He seemed uncomfortable with it, so I let it be. Figured if he was uncomfortable with it because of jealousy (highly doubtful), I already explained it wasn't any stereotypical female runaround, and if it was because it's something he considered then maybe he'll bring it up when he's more comfortable. Was about cuddling, several people answered it, the person who asked has still not responded to the answers. Not a lot else to linger on, unless you want to tell us about another drunken sexcapade.

So then in this metaphor, who is the little kid that says, "There is no spoon" ?

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
It's not that I think they must be mutually exclusive with a poly lifestyle, just that it seems to be all that you're interested in when you speak of freedom, drama-free lifestyles, etc...
