It is also noteable that the entire second page of the recent updates forum is filled with locked threads saying that this has happened with numerous other skills (Runecrafting, Summoning, etc.). I really think that this outburst was a clan trying to play a trick on the RSOF or something.

Lol all the forums on the RSOF are spammed with nothing but topics on this and a min ago there were over 3k people on. Current opinion on RSOF is that Zaros is back, but some people are speculating that Jagex got hacked or something. Who knows? I want to find out though! TecMaster532

Right now nomad is the only thing stopping me from getting my quest cape back, my question is, is it even possible to beat him with my stats and if so what gear would be needed to do it. And if not what stats would be the minimum and what gear would I need with those stats to beat him. Thanks -Tec

Not a big thing but I noticed that in the achievement capes guide it says that the wishlist of the Rag and Bone man quest must be completed to obtain the quest cape. An update on August 10, 2009 changed it so that the wishlist was not required to obtain the quest cape. You may want to also add a note in the guide that the cape and hood can be stored on the cape rack in the costume room of your POH. -Tec

Hi, as a giant mole hunter (actually waiting for a spawn as I write this) I noticed that some of the information in the giant mole guide is incorrect or missing with the new update. 1) The ranger in the screenshot of the ranged setup is only wielding 20 bolts and they are emerald bolts. Personally having killed the giant mole myself I have always used broad bolts which are considerably cheaper and have a ranged strength of 100 instead of 85. Although the emerald bolts can poison a dds is much more effective at poisoning the target and the poison starts at 6 for the dds instead of 5 for emerald bolts. Also as I commented before I always take at least 500 bolts with me when ranging to ensure that I don't run out. Killing the mole with 20 bolts is nearly impossible unless you get very lucky and have a very high ranged level. 2) Both inventory setups have a dragon halberd in them and not a dds. Although the dragon halberd can hit much harder with its special the dragon dagger P++ can use its special 4 times in a row instead of 3 for the dragon halberd and it can poison. 3) Neither setup includes an emergency teleport. Self explanatory. 4) It should be mentioned that using the highest possible attack boosting prayer you have (Piety or Turmoil being the best) is highly recommended on the dragon dagger specials to ensure that you hit the mole and poison it. 5) A useful trick for players with a POH with a falador portal and an altar was removed during the guide update. Due to the fact that the mole spawns are very slow it is possible for players after killing the mole if they feel that they do not have enough prayer points to successfully get another kill can teleport to their house, recharge their prayer, use the falador portal, bank at falador west and return to the mole lair before the mole respawns. This eliminates the need for using prayer potions except for emergency doses and gives the player something to do while waiting for another spawn. 6) A special weapon such as an Armadyl Godsword or Dragon Claws can be especially useful when the mole is at half health. A successful AGS or DClaws special attack can devastate the mole's hitpoints and reduce the time spent chasing it around its lair. Thanks for taking the time to read this, TecMaster532

Not that this is a major thing but the green dragons marked south of clan wars are actually located slightly further east outside of the multicombat zone and not directly south of the clanwars arena. They also extend further south then they are shown on the map, all the way down to the level 20 wilderness line. (Yes, I spent a lot of time there at one point) Other than that, great new map!

[hide=known bug in qp total, thanks for posting]Adding to 2 posts above the current system currently counts quest points from the Recipe for Disaster quest (10) AND the quest points from all of the subquests (10) resulting in it calculating the Recipe for Disaster quest as having 20 quest points. Normally this would result in returning a quest point total of 305 quest points is you have every quest completed, however there is another bug, I'm not sure where, that results in the quest calculator returning a quest point total of 309 quest points if you have all quests marked as completed. As of now the maximum number of quest points is 295; 9 quest points below that. [Crew edit: The additional quest points are from the other subquests doing the same thing (calculating twice). I just got lucky and both of my brewing vats came out with greenman's ale(m). So now I have 16 of them and I know that the ge price is 25k and that they are in demand but what is the street price for them at the moment and is there any market for them outside of the ge. Thanks, -Tec

Myself and 2 of my friends decided to go and try rev hunting with the new zaros prayers to see what would happen. We did find that using a certain combination of prayers with a certain type of armor results in being able to down rev knights at lvl 104 without taking dammage and using only ~40 prayer points. Anyway we took a few screenshots while doing it. Then we got unlucky with spawns so we hung around waiting. (P.S. I'm hiding in this picture try to find me) And then we got even more bored so we went and decided to mess with the penguin guys on world 60 when they had a penguin near the lever. (P.S. we did make up for it by chating and just generally hanging out there protecting all of the noobs in the penguin chat from revs for the next 4 hours.)

I shall be checking this out on my next herb run in an hour I'll update you then.

All you have to do is in firefox go to Tools: Add-ons Click the get addons tab and click browse all addons tab. This opens up a new tab to the mozilla site. Type "Adblock Plus" in the search for addons box and hit search. One of the first hits is called Ad Block Plus and the icon looks like a stopsign with the letters ABP on it. Just click add to firefox and follow the instructions. ABP is actually the main reason I now use firefox > chrome.

I tried all of the settings on all 4 of my computers and didn't notice a difference in the cpu utilization on any of them. I don't know what that option actually does to the game and since it doesn't affect my CPU usage I just run it at max.

Also I forgot to mention if you switch to curses run into the ge and turn on a deflect prayer + swich either breserker or protect item on and off repeatedly the reaction of all of the noobs is hillarious.
