Would it be possible then to create a way to reduce the flood control for people that have been registered for a certain amount of time, (just a random number 2 years) and have made a certain number of posts in that time to lessen the annoyance to real tifers and still stop addbots and spam accounts, or is this not technologically possible with the current forum software?

Actually, Jagex have registered domains for most of their FunOrb games. Most just re-direct to the FunOrb site but then there are ones like http://www.arcanists.com/ which have their own mini-site. Oh wow I've never noticed that before. Wow, I feel like a noob. Anywho, I still think from the number of classes that the patent covers that it would be a new platform.

That's wierd I just saw the ge graphs and they show the spectrals to be stable in the short term and increasing in long term. Unless they got their hands on the information that some organized merch is going to be crashing them I'm not quite sure why they would be selling so many on the forums. Eh, who knows.

I agree with you totally, I love that minigame and think that it is exactly what a RS minigame should be, a fun team challenge between two teams in some themed bizarre challenge. Also it has almost no rewards that would influence your normal gameplay, I like that, it gives you some nice clothes to show that you took some time to play the game and win them and also provides you with "the stuff" which is a nice little boost to brewing but does not radically change parts of Runescape. Frequently on the forums I have a situation where I want to reply to a number of topics in a row. After replying to one topic though I have to stop and wait out the mandatory 45 second flood control period before I can even enter the post writer to begin writing my next post. My suggestion is this: That we reduce the amount of time set on the flood control on the forums to something such as 15 or 30 seconds to make it easier on those who want to reply to a string of topics in a row and can type fairly rapidly. I'm not even sure what practical purpose the flood control accomplishes if someone could explain how it is beneficial to anything that would be nice. I cleaned them to just get some cheap herby xp This is my opinion too, if the price is higher for cleaned or only a small loss than clean one and see how long it takes to sell both the clean one and the uncleaned if the uncleaned sells quickly than clean them all for some quick and easy herblore xp.

Runescape has a system called lootshare in which all members in a clan chat channel who have it enable will be able to shared the loot from killed monsters. This is commonly used in team monster hunting situations to ensure that everyone on the team gets drops. When someone using lootshare receives a drop from the lootshare system all the other players using lootshare gain "lootshare points" or LSP. The more lootshare points a person has the more likely they are to receive drops from the lootshare system. Jagex has determined that there is no purpose to being able to see your lootshare points and as such has not implemented any system that allows you to see them. I saw this on world 1 the other day when I was walking around, 138 with blue partyhat walks past level 3. Level 3 follows 138 Level 3: Ooh I heard that that hat was rare and valuable, I'll give you 1k for it or is that too much. 138: Are you serious?! Level 3: Yeah if that's too much I can give you 500 gp instead. Me and 138 at the same time: *Facepalm*

This sounds like a new platform but if it is we won't find out for a long time. The fact that they have a domain name registered now would mean that they plan to create and entirely separate website for whatever this is, something that has never been done for any funorb game. Also the number of categories the patent is filed for would indicate that the idea is on the platform scale. However, were not going to find out what it is for a long time due to the fact that if they just filed the patents for it and registered the domain this is still in the concept stages of development forget coding and engine development along with all of the other steps that go into making a game. On an interesting side note bloods are so in demand at this point I just saw someone at the grand exchange lending a Armadyl Godsword 24hours for 1k bloods.

They aren't great anyway. A whip is far superior. The only real purpose for godswords is in boss hunting when you need big hits.

Banning afkers is no longer necessary as a recent hidden update has made it so that if you are inactive for more than 5 minutes you are logged out even if you are in combat. There are several fairly amusing rants on the rsof from afkers about this.

There is a kc max of 2000. After that it doesn't add anymore.

For any low level players looking for some cash the Ardy. store near the zoo sells water filled vials for 10 gp each and has 300 every few hours. It is possible to make a good 30k every few hours for low levels buying the vials from there and selling them for max on the ge.

I rechecked the prices, due to the rapid increase in the prices of iron ore it is no longer profitable to make unf. steel bolts anymore. If the iron ore prices drop back down to ~100 gp where they should be, than it is profitable even with the cost of unnoting the ores to make unf. steel bolts. P.S. Look at the 180 day iron ore graph. They clearly got merched.
