Banning afkers is no longer necessary as a recent hidden update has made it so that if you are inactive for more than 5 minutes you are logged out even if you are in combat. There are several fairly amusing rants on the rsof from afkers about this.

There is a kc max of 2000. After that it doesn't add anymore.

For any low level players looking for some cash the Ardy. store near the zoo sells water filled vials for 10 gp each and has 300 every few hours. It is possible to make a good 30k every few hours for low levels buying the vials from there and selling them for max on the ge.

I rechecked the prices, due to the rapid increase in the prices of iron ore it is no longer profitable to make unf. steel bolts anymore. If the iron ore prices drop back down to ~100 gp where they should be, than it is profitable even with the cost of unnoting the ores to make unf. steel bolts. P.S. Look at the 180 day iron ore graph. They clearly got merched.

If you are looking for a good place to kill greaters the wildy volcano just near the entrance with the banker is the best spot. Just find a world with not too many people and kill away. They have < 1 min. spawn times and the place is almost never visited by revs. And even if a rev does show up just go out the door :smile: .

If you buy the iron ore and coal and smith unf. steel bolts you can make a profit there. The profit margin isn't very high but you can still make a profit. However, I noticed that the iron ore prices are rising rather rapidly, so make sure you check and make sure you can still make a profit before you buy the supplies.

I am trying to get the ranged level required to do the new elf quest (75) from my current level (62). Could you recommend the fastest, most cost efficient, and both fast and cost effective methods of getting these levels. Thanks.

If you are talking about potting to get the necessary stats, temporary boosts i.e. ranging potion CANNOT be used.

Forcing players to do anything, even if it's an opinion, is never a good idea. The problem is the polls aren't really advertised that well, heck the Machinima contest poll only got 95K votes and it was plastered all over the website. They need to find a way to get players more involved in polls and/or giving their opinion to actually make the correct decision. When it's going bad people will say so if not no one will say a word. The poll system needs more attention from Jagex anyway. If you notice the last poll is from exactly 1 month ago today.

Quite a bit has happened Jagex released the next "detail update": Runetek5 Name Changing was released A new minigame ,Mobilizing Armies, The Corporeal Beast was soloed Bounty Hunter worlds were released PvP worlds were released (Not sure if this was this year or last year) Pvp Worlds now have artifact drops that can be traded in for cash. A new high level dungeon was released (Living Rock Caverns) along with 2 new types of fish Jagex Held a machinima competition (excel won) The next part of the dwarf quest series came out along with: [Hide]The dragon pickaxe[/hide] Changes were made to the shop system and infinite stock was removed Staves are no longer required to autocast spells The world map now has maps for the major dungeons Behind the scenes was removed A new distraction and diversion, The evil tree, was added A new slayer focused pvp mingame, soul wars, was added The logout timer was increased from 30 seconds to 5 minutes. I think that's all of the major ones, and welcome back

Im curious, how does this work? Is a quest needed for puro puro? I only ask as i need money and not xp :P Sorry to gatecrash your thread. Although you don't need a specific quest to get into puro puro it is MUCH easier after Lost City. There are 2 enterances. One is a fixed crop circle in Zanaris, the other is a crop circle that jumps to a random wheat field anywhere in Runescape. To get to puro puro effectively to trade jars in you really need lost city. Fairy tale part 2 helps for fairy rings too.

I agree with the idea of doing MM for the dragon scim right away but I should tell you that the experiment dungeon is always packed and you will often spend longer waiting for a spawn than fighting. Also they drop nothing. I got my stats from 60-70 at the stronghold of security killing ankous for blood and death rune drops and using bones to peaches tabs for food. But everyone has their own method.

Personally My Favorites Are: Animal Apogee Temple of Light Pinball wizard The Route Series (Route of the Problem, Route of All Evil, Alternative Route) Crystal Castle Pinball Wizard And a few others I can't remember right now.

It depends on your luck. Many people as in my case, THE DAMN SHEEP FROM HELL KEPT RUNNING AWAY REPEATEDLY and sometimes go around you to get back to where they want to go. So, for many people Sheep Herder is a horrible quest.

I don't know why people hated this quest without a quest guide so much. I really enjoyed the light puzzle (although I do like to do difficult logic puzzles) a combination of guthans + terrorbird + small amounts of prayer + super def pots got me through it just fine. Although I nearly died when I realized I had to go over the handholds AGAIN!!! GAH!! Those were evil. Other than those I loved the quest. Edit: Forgot to mention that I did it without a guide

High level untradeable skill rewards Mages becoming slightly more powered A reason to train non combat skills A good forum update If the rest of the year is like this it will be a great end to a not so good year. It might actually make up for all of the bad updates throughout the year!!
