With some... questionable calls shall we say ;-). Rafa made a gutsy move taking off Gerrard for Lucas, but it worked out perversely in the end. As for Arsenal, nice to see Toure get his first goal of the season. He's been blasting from that range for awhile, but usually ends up hitting the post or forcing a great save from the keeper. And Walcott's been improving a lot lately - first his assist for van Persie's goal match-winner against Sunderland and then again for Rosicky's goal yesterday. Bolton simply couldn't handle his pace.

We've rarely done mod applications here. What does that tell you? We've already looked.

Eastern Promises Better than I expected - was planning on seeing The Kingdom, but my friends took too long at Chipotle. My favorite part was when they explained the meanings behind the tatooes. Everything seemed to make more sense from then on. I felt they cut the end a little short, but it was still a nice movie. Gave me the same kind of feeling as when I watched Leon a couple years ago.

So wait... We build our factories in China and hire well-educated personnel like engineers from India as an humanitarian effort, and not because they can do the same quality work for a fraction of the price? I'm sure they're very "grateful". :lol: American CEOs aren't outsourcing out of the good of their hearts - they just want to make more money. Stop thinking it's the 80s - China doesn't need that kind of help anymore. People may say the US has technological superiority (and then bring out all of the fancy weapons as examples), but it's not like the rest of the world's been living under a rock over the past 50 years. China has it's own military technology/secrets too. Just because a weapon isn't American doesn't mean it can't emulate the same kind of effect. And in the end, after you get past all of the gadgets, it's really one man fighting another.

Please, don't make unfounded claims. And yes, not everyone is afraid of the US. They may be respectful or at least wary about the US's power and tendency to get involved in international affairs, but I wouldn't be too sure to say that there won't be a country or a group of countries who've had enough.
