We all know what he ment by illegal, so please don't spam a thread, with potential discussion value, with comments such as those. On a much different note, RWT is against the rules for sure, so is botting. Which is the bigger problem? That's debatable to the end of time. There isn't anything JaGex can really do since it is just certain players breaking the rules on a much different game. Steam should not have to watch over their players breaking rules on other games; I'm sure they have their own problems. It's Jagex's duty to monitor their players and ban accordingly. The responsibility lies with JaGex and the other gaming does not need to care in the slightest. Errr, in the first sentence you say 'don't spam the thread with potential discussion value' and in the next sentence you bring up botting. :-D :thumbsup: I am not surprised by the ammount of RWT going on, free trade + old wild opened a huge can of worms. Seems like Jagex is loosing more and more grip on the community. (or what is left from it)

Why is the player 'The Old Nite' so famous? All I've seen so far is people saying that he was a nice guy. I thought iconic players would distinguish themselves from others. (in other words: it is not like noone else on RS is nice) Like others have already mentioned, I would put Villandra on that list too. Amazing what she has done on RS.

We don't know what it is yet but we do know that ticket-holders will receive the item at RuneFest. This is to ensure that only people who attend RuneFest get the item. :thumbup:

I'm no economist, but I think that is only true if you look at it percentwise. 2005: 2,5m profit 2006: 6,7m profit 2007: 13,1m profit 2008: 17,8m profit 2009: 20,4m profit They only made more and more every year, percentwise became even greedier in the end. That graph shows how much more they could invest in content development and customer support and still make huuuuuge profits. (not even counting in the pricy failed projects that take budget/developers from RS #-o)

If these were tradeable, that would be the same as selling ingame gold. Which is a step further in the wrong direction imo. Oh well, they probably won't make this item available to all payment methods, so your idea might even be less worse then. :unsure: That sword looks good!
