Do tell the path that lead you to this conclusion, because everything Jagex has said so far is that Runescape is incompatible with microtransactions. 'we will never sell ingame items' -> katana, etc 'we meant we would never sell ingame benefits' -> refer a friend 'we meant ingame benefits that would have a huge impact' -> sell RS coins? I hope not but I fear the worst.

When the system is flawed, is the whistleblower to blame? Bots in this game are caught by an individual report made by another player, which has to be reviewed afterwards to determin a punishment. This should be automated.

This. I just need to be set up on my feet, like I was before transferring everything over to rs2. It's a nightmare to get started back up again. Trying a bit of thieving on guards and fighting them too, hope i'll eventually get 60 defence and some cash along with it! According to RSOF it is allowed to trade RS2 money for RSC money. You can disagree with someone, you can even find someone's opinion absolute rubbish. Every time someone says: 'RS population is declining', someone replies: 'where is the proof of that?!? No that isn't the case!' Maybe you got unlucky. Usually when I pass Draynor or Edge bank I pass someone. I have been doing quests the last weeks and you encounter more people than you would initially think with the player numbers. (+ when you see someone they usually shout 'hi' from afar, are not botting and are very friendly.)

You can gather stuff from shops, waterfilled vials for example are 750-1k each on forum. You can make full rune in an hour. (Buy in Taverley and fill at fountain next to Falador Bank. General store in Ardougne sells 10 watervilled vials) If you want a price list of the most common traded things in Runescape Classic, check this: Quick find code: 51-52-609-62928924 . Classic may only have +-20 people/server after reopening, but it is an active little community. Don't forget to use the RSOF forums, this is pre-GE.

It is doable, stay! :smile: I played +- two weeks the last reopening, it was hell: shop stocks were depleted and training spots were packed. Began playing again a week or two ago (year and a half after the last reopening?) and it was a dream: shop stocks were full and if you encounter someone, they are friendly and helpful. RSC has a much older/nicer community compared to RS2. Onrelated: Killed a lvl 172 in the grand tree quest yesterday at 52 cb in classic, such an adrenalin rush! :thumbsup: Did Ritual Of The Mahjarrat today on RS2, sentiment afterwards: 'meh...' :razz: Guess I like being a noob. :cool:

Buying all unids 700 each!!! :grin: Classic was almost dead, reopening it every 6 months like they initially promised would give fresh air to it. If you begin to play now and start with a main, there won't even be a chance to make a pure afterwards... Kind of sad that they open it for the last time. RIP Runescape Classic. :unsure:

It is not a question of good or lame, but the update is insignificant. An easy filler update to keep their promise. I do agree with you however, instead of these freguent tiny updates they should make less frequent, bigger updates.

I don't want to sound like an old nag, but in my opinion we used to get more/regular content updates. It doesn't help that the 'biggest update' so far this year was clan citadels and the content is already (apart from a couple exceptions) abandoned. On your side note: Great idea when they can't think of any new content to make.

Hmm, so this month we will get a new quest and some 'in other news'-updates. I hope the quest is any good. @ the stealing creation debate: at least then they made a brand new minigame and not just rewards.

I think you're not being sarcastic with your post. So instead of taking care of the bot problem you want to create some kind of Easyscape? Thus deleting all rares in the progress too? :huh: I mostly agree with your posts and I can understand if you want less grind in RS, but what you're saying now would destroy the game imo.

Isn't he the person that made a vid about it, pointing out the glitch? Pointing out glitches/bot problems on yt gets you punished apparently. (maybe that is why the problems in RS don't get solved, the Jagex employees are watching youtube all the time)

Well, official Jagex policy says it isn't. And if it is, they should mute everyone hosting.

Wouldn't basing the HQ of your operations in a tax haven solve this? The cost of your beach house on the Bahamas is deductable from the small tax you do have to pay then. Win-win! :thumbsup:
