  1. Talk to an admin. That does nothing. That's why I now use an account called fakeitormakeit2. Unspam:
  2. How can you negotiate a deal over division of land when one side is still expanding, it's an illogical position. It is like negotiating over how to divide a piece of cake while one person is still eating it up. Stop attacking Israel. They are correct and not to be questioned. My analysis of this situation: a trade of 1000 terrorists [who are forced to act as they do because they're animals backed into a corner] for 1 well equipped terrorist that does what he does for the sake of a country that didn't exist 7 decades ago, and only survives because of its apartheid funded by the US. I would just like to remind everyone that the entire Israeli-Palestine conflict was instigated by Zionists creating a country out of thin air. Jews were plentiful in Greater Syria and other parts of the Middle East pre-Israel and they were seen and treated as Arabs and equals as much as everyone else was. The conflict is not one based on Arab vs. Jew, it's Arab vs. Invader.
  3. Yep. Sinkhan is right. It use to happen to me all the time and I wondered why I had these random people added, until one day in GE I realized I accidentally added someone via a misclick.
  4. I dislike parents who scapegoat television, video games and schools. It's the parents duty to moderate or explain what children watch. I also believe things such as Sex Ed in schools is a kind of brushing off of parental obligations. As I've been taught, your first teacher is your parents. If people complain about the lack of values in society, then it is the fault of the parents in society who fail to properly discipline and educate their children; media and education systems are only obliged to fulfill their immediate telos (i.e. media's is to disseminate information selected by respective groups, education systems's is to teach factual information). A good parent is a parent who makes sure their children is a respectful, practical member of society. I've had a maid clean and press my laundry, clean my room and what not all my life, but my father and grandfather made me learn how to do so regardless. Just because one has the convenience of a luxury in one moment of their life does not mean it should be perpetual, therefore one must know how to live without it even if one has it. That's why parents, very relevant to contemporary society, must discipline children with living comfortably yet humbly, even if they have the means to splurge. Nurture has a great deal to do with why society is the way it is, and old people who complain how it was so much better in their days need to stop speaking and play their part by creating discipline. So in conclusion, the best methodology of parenting is providing the correct devices and values to make good decisions, enforcing them when necessary with nonphysical punishment (i.e. you broke X rule, you lose Y privilege). Past that, parents should not interfere with the social life, etc. of the child unless it is detrimental to their well being. Children need to make mistakes and fail, that's part of learning, but it's important they have the foundation for overcoming and amending their failures.
  5. The various wars the US wages is for the liberation and benefit of whoever survives them... if they can survive the ensuing, probably worse regime that media doesn't cover. But the US will always be happy to foot the bill so long as we get to add another satellite country to the list.
  6. Yay! It's a shame whips are worth nothing now. [hide=85 Slayer][/hide]
  7. @Giordano, one swiggly line constitutes a word. A lot of things are implied though so sentences are comprised of less words.
  8. One particularly inconvenience sentence I noticed when having a conversation with a friend trying to learn English the other day. In Arabic, it would be: Kem ibna'akht lak? In English, it would be: How many nephews and nieces, specifically from your sister, do you have? The lack of possessive particles and relation-specific words make this sentence particularly long, while in Arabic it's three words. My friend said that English lacks the more intuitive nature that other languages have, which I'd agree with. Random: It's also a lot easier to rhyme in Arabic and Italian than it is in English. @Randox: Regarding to homophones, I think that's present in all languages. I've probably heard this one Arabic joke a million times about a foreigner who tries to tell his servant directions to deliver a package that requires that he go into the alleyway (hara) but is enraged at his servant when the servant keeps refusing to go. Little did the man know, he was telling his servant not that the alleyway would be right in front of him but that [cabbage] (khara) would be in his face.
  9. The majority of Tip.It is leftist. Shocker.
  10. Well for one thing I wouldn't want to be with a girl who lets me deflower her after dating her for 8 days. That just shows a lack of principles, reservation and introspection, no matter how into you [pun] they are. I hope you don't take that as me being a douche, that's just how I see it. But those relationship endings don't seem to be your fault. As the cliche' goes, opposites attract, and normally I don't accept cliche's but from first hand experience I know it is true. As Duff said you just have to find a girl who accepts the differences between you.
  11. Seems fine to me, unless you are in a relationship [or one party would like to be in a relationship while the other does not] and you break up. That would just be super-awkward.
  12. In reference to the pictures above, I use to much prefer the old graphics for demons and dragons to the current ones. It was quite the adjustment getting use to them. I guess the less graphics, the better the character because the individual's imagination is the greatest tool for making something detailed.
  13. 9/11 was a horrible day, and we do remember all those lost on that day. However, I refer to magekiller's post to those who think it was a just pretext to the War in Iraq even though they were completely irrelevant. I also find it is a good time to mention the biblical parable in Matthew 18 of forgiveness where the king forgives the servant his debt, but then the servant beats the other servant and has him arrested for his debt so the king rescinds his forgiveness. Forgiveness is a difficult thing, but we must forgive others unless we wish to forsake our own.
  14. As far as I'm concerned, my business with BXPW is already finished. I made a nice 182M [profit] from selling overpriced training items in bulk today.
  15. I would just like how to point out how we're suppose to be living in post-Enlightment countries and yet the mainstream cultures, a long with many people here, have such childish notions of justice. Not only justice, but dehumanizing people that they perceive as evil as not human, a bit primitive.
  16. Does anyone have any advice for me? I've been unsuccessful in all my attempts so far to kill the Pest Queen and Vanstrom. Thanks.
  17. I'm hoping that resources will possibly spike a couple days before the Xp Weekend because people will suddenly start buying bulk quantities for training, but so far it hasn't happened with the 406k of oak planks I have on hand, and I had assumed it would have happened a week or so before, like last time.
  18. I'm currently going to NYU for History. I hope to move onto law school once I get my BA.
  19. Here's a nice image: PM me if you're interested in bulk of said item.
