I could sing along to that forever :D A nice little surprise on my diyer: Got a hard clue from them that only lasted one stage (north castlewars crate) which was delicious, guthix helm from it too which aint bad. Dungeoneering is on hold for the moment since I broke my kata maul for the gorg one in my bind bank without realising I need 80 strength, not attack to wield it. So camping hellhounds for that first :P Still slowly progressing through the bowl on oct, at about 55%, I've been away a fair bit so I'm lagging behind :( Still there's no rush anyway
  2. Yep, the dragonfire shield that suits your style would be best (I think they are mage weak?) Alternatively the Elemental workshop shields work fine, just lower defence/lifepoints

  4. If Jagex wanted to release more than one new area at once in the future, extra distance would work against them. Not saying that's likely, but you'd end up with people being able to instantly access an area without any upgrades from the previous one.
  5. Actually, coinshare is more of a cash sink. It gives you instant money at 95% GE price, but then puts the item up on the GE at 100% price. When the person buys the item, it takes out the money he bought the item for, therefore taking out more money than it brought in. While coinshare does act as a cash sink assuming that the trading value and ge value are identical, many teams will seek to abuse coinshare when the trading value is much lower than ge value, and avoid it when trading value is higher. Since these differences in prices can last for a long time (see spirit shields/nex gear at the end of last year) I'd assume it ends up bringing in more cash than it takes out.
  6. Another thing to think about is what would happen about items/resources in an 06 server. Modern day demands for skilling supplies and efficiency would ravage the very small influx of resources, with many updates since 2006 injecting supplies into the market, such as the upgraded rare drop table, daily tasks etc. I just think people would get bored of it due to the lack of conveniences and no updates, both of which would be too big of an ask to add into it. Personally I prefer the game in its current form anyway though, sure EoC has got its teething problems but it will make for a better game in the long run.

  10. Without the gloves your weapon gets unequipped regardless, and with base accuracy its impossible to do anything :P Still, its a pain of a glitch
  11. Right click the small dash in the top right of your action bar. Or use the * key on a number pad, I think that works too
  12. my assumption there was they're still a decent use of an adventurer voyage if trade goods don't come up :P Of course trade goods are always going to be better, depending on what the final price of each piece ends at 30k x2 adventurer mission for fishing xp is technically worth about 40 minutes of your time, a good 2m if your gp/hr is 3m :)
  13. tbh for literally no work they're brilliant. Might become useful once we're at the point where normal resources become useless
  14. The rate of attack of a single monster on you doesn't matter, so a PP scarab wont degrade if faster than say, a PP mummy. However if you have multiple enemies on you at once, thats when the gloves start to degrade faster in line with the number of enemies attacking you. Still, for gloves that're basically free they're great, even without a useful effect

Could use a black sally instead of crystal bow, much easier on the cashpile :) Also the hunter req to get it isn't too high either Been camping warped terrorbirds for the swamp tar for the ammo for a while, a few rune drops and bolts from them is quite nice too. Been trying to find some consistent gp makers to keep up with the cost of mtk each day, any tips?

  18. Finished the diary, was a good set of tasks :) nice to have a nardah tele now anyway. Upgraded Ancient staff isn't exactly great..
  19. I'm a little disappointed that the ancient staff was selected for a stat upgrade. There are enough higher tier staves in the game already, and to nearly everyone doing the elite set the upgrade wont be useful (Unless its incredibly OP). I'd have preferred to see darklight upgraded really
  20. That'd be the xp for an account with nothing else levelled. you start with level 10 hp, so the xp is from that

  24. Your sub tier 50 data is incorrect. It seems chainbodies/square shield/med helms all get a (1.05^-2) multiplier over their "full" counterparts, and the base*(1.05^(tier-10)) seems to hold for pretty much everything, with base being the armour value for the tier 10 "best" item for that slot (full helm not med helm etc) and bronze tier being half of tier 10. One thing I can't figure out is how to incorporate iron and bronze tiers into the modifier for "med" items, they could just be oddly set though. rather nicely weapon accuracy ties into the formula neatly too. EDIT: [Just used a linear relationship based on the full base value. it works, eh.] Only just realised this recently but helms are surprisingly bulky in eoc.
