How strict are you on applicants?
Applicants for TBK need to have IRC and TS3 set up, and they need to post screenshots of them on their app as well as one of themselves in-game. However, the app itself isn't too hard, but we do require applicants to read our rules/codes, etc. We also have 3 video guides for IRC, TS3 and screenshots, and are working on a walkthough of the app itself. So it's a moderate system with a lot of help for the inexperienced.

- What would encourage your clan to PK more often?
- More solo'ers out - for PKing - More clans our size like One - for clean and fair fights- How many sets do you usually lose in a fight?
In a war, just one if I die as we don't do planned PKRIs. In an unplanned PKRI, the most I've lost is 4 in a single fight (TPR+ASC+DF+TBK vs The Alliance).- The Blade Keepers' Night Out
I did consider it. However, we're an anti-CWA clan, which might raise issues in TWR. I'm still not too sure - I want your quotes for an article i'm writing.
Many people will bias their opinions on clan updates because of what happened in 2007 with the wilderness. To me, it made it seem as if Jagex wanted clans to be a Jagex-organised thing, rather than independent groups. Take a closer look at the clan wars arena, clan chat and team capes - 3 of the most productive clan-beneficial additions to the game. The two new upcoming additions don't hinder the clans' ways of life, they add generic and unique elements and options for us to enjoy. I'm all for them.- What Happened to the Giant Zerg clans and the old school F2P Wars?
- F2P wars, we stick to non-returning fights. - No shallow wilderness - deep like '06 - ZERO CWA - we're an anti-CWA clan - Honour aspects - No running, etc. We're basically an '06 clan. And we fit your needs perfectly... except we're 80+. If you're still interested, let me know.- The Blade Keepers vs One
The Blade Keepers vs One "Mini-run-in" - March 20th 2011 After such an eventful Friday, we slowed the pace down a bit. TBK set out on a normal F2P raid as per usual tonight. Within minutes, we ran into One, a new NL clan. STARTING OPTS: TBK: 27 One: ~30 This also means that this isn't one of those huge max-opts fights. If you're only interested in them, pick another topic. The fight kicked off at Gap. I knew that for once we were fighting someone our size. When TBK members started to drag, I told them to come back. I also tried to ensure most of us constantly returned. It was a balanced fight, until One went for our warlord. He did some great tanking, while TBK took the lead with several kills. As One's numbers started to diminish, the fight started to move south. At this point I called a regroup at the piper. However, TBK's TS was down, and not everyone was on our temporary server. While we were regrouping, some TBK were still fighting at dwarves. As we headed down, we realised and instantly went back into action. Between dwarves and the farm, we finished off the rest of One. ENDING OPTS: TBK: ~21 One: 0 I want to say a HUGE thank you to One for a clean and fair fight. One have been open only 2-3 months - just longer than us. I was shocked to see that when piled, One members stayed and tanked. Some of the bigger and older clans we've fought, they simply run to single. I have nothing but respect for the fight One gave us tonight. I personally got two kills throughout. I wish One the very best of luck in the clan world. And a huge well-done to all the TBK members who returned - that brought us the win. I saw people constantly coming back, and in small fights like these, EVERYONE counts. Shoutout to Vindicator for getting us a TS to use while ours was down, and to TPR for standing by incase anyone unwanted showed up. In fact, most of the clan world has been incredibly respectful to TBK since the start. I'm forever thankful for it, and if our services are ever needed in return, #BladeKeepers :-)- The Blade Keepers' Night Out
The Blade Keepers' Night Out 4+ hours and some huge fights - March 18th 2011 More pics to be added. As per usual, we started out being hunted by Wilderness Guardians. In the past, we've usually retreated from them. However, tonight we stood and fought. We lost the first run-in, but every TBK member fought till death. We even took a few WG down with us. WG continued to hunt us, and we had a few more fights. But soon we had unexpected help from Team Power Rangers. They proceeded to help us send WG running to mossies. WG declined to fight TPR 1v1, and they did not show up again. Apologies for "TPL" instead of "TPR", I was confused :S We were about to go back to our normal raid after that. However, we heard TPL were fighting 'The' Clan. As they had helped us fight WG, we decided to help them out as well. So commenced our second fight, TBK + TPR vs 'The' Clan. This one ended when 'The' called The Gladiatorz. Edit: we only saw Gladz, I don't know about TMRD or Jagz. A little while later, we were invited to yet another fight. TPR, some Downfall and Ascension were about to fight TA. Edit: According to 'The', it was just them, Gladz and a few TMRD. They spammed TA, so I just assumed the full Alliance. We gladly decided to join [TPR] as "DA" ("Da Alliance"?). And so, our largest battle of the night began. The uncapped fight raged on for hours. The Alliance usually had the upper hand, but DA held it together. We even saw GX, CL and a few others. Finally, Echo of Silence crashed, at which point DA called it off. ~ Tonight, TBK hit 50 members on our member list. It's been less than 2 months since our foundation. We've shed blood with the likes of WG, 'The', EoS, and so on. And it has been one hell of a ride so far. A major shoutout to Vindicator and all of TPR. You guys helped us make one of our most amazing nights so far. And as promised, if you ever require our services, we will most gladly oblige. Another thanks to all the clans we fought tonight. It's been TBK's first experience in the upper clan world. And it certainly won't be our last :-)- lvl 76 looking for a 70+ clan
We are moving up to 80+ on April 1st, but it won't be a big problem for you if you join :) For your consideration:- Lvl 116 Looking for Clan.
- The Blade Keepers - Our Sunday Out
The Blade Keepers - Our Sunday Out 4 hours of PKing - March 13th 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FT2fV8oj_I This is the second of our PKing trips ("Raids") to be made into a video. At first, things didn't start too well. We had both RF and WG hunting us. However, when that stopped, we saw a huge change. We were out a total of 4 hours. The main worlds were 3, 17, 57, 113 and 136. We got kills like crazy, and even had some small fights. It was the most fun I've had in 3 and a half years. For a 2-month old 70+ clan, I'm really happy with that. As well as, I was surprised by the activity rate. The wild's only been back a month or so. We were running into soloers and small teams all night. I quite happily say RS seems to be getting back on it's feet.Important Information
