Does the extra strength justify loosing two speed ticks? I can't think of the last time I hit a 0 on a shade with my spear using the slash style, they're just so weak to it where accuracy doesn't matter a lot (which is actually how a lot of the monsters in dungeoneering are)

the fastest way to get points is to do 9 tasks from the master in canafis, then do your tenth task from your highest level master.

claws, then bcp. (assuming you have a fury, and berserker ring already) I rarely wear my Tassets, I usually wear verac for the prayer+def

Steel and iron dragon tasks take me like....30 minutes to do with a rapier, they're also decent money if you bank the bones with a yak + their other drops. Heck, ever since I got Super Anti-fire pots, Metal dragons have been some of my favorite tasks.

Since you don't have access to the rings, I'd go with a spear 100% Crush is really only amazing in the frozen floors, and on Skeletons.

^ You don't even need Battle robes to profit from maging Abyssal Demons. That's assuming you have average luck.

off topic, but yeah those guys who are like "yea omg we are elite and don't follow the masses. wer intelligent and picked rapiers!!" are douches. I might get both cls and rapier rofl. Once i get 99 that is. You see the other way around more In-game tbh :P most people in game think they're the most pro thing ever with longswords. Rapier is better for low def/weak to stab monsters, cls is better for higher def monsters. I don't think I'm a genius for picking rapier, I think that since I do slayer (low def monsters) a lot, I picked the most efficient weapon for me.

I duelled a friend yesterday, and his void range setup hit well on my +280 range defence. Well enough to take me to 200 lp before I killed him. Granted, he's 8 levels above me, but I was leeching all his stats and potted (he didn't pot). I also used dds specs (while he only used broads). And that's just the void setup, in Verac helm/skirt+arma plate his accuracy was a good as mine (again, just me potted) and I died. Now in pvp, Verac's + arma may be a lot to risk, but consequently you only have to hit on +200 range defence or less, as your opponent bring only rune as well. Bottom line: range is fairly accurate, not to say very good to tank with. L2farcast and miasmic plz If we start adding in so many new spell effects we might aswell make skills for range and melee too. Then call this World of Runecraft :thumbdown: I'm confused as to how his post had anything to do with Farcasting and Miasmic. All he pointed out was that range was accurate.

Got a rapier....thinking about getting a maul, but rapier works well enough even for most bosses, so idk if i'll get it.

if you really want a melee ring, a Rapier is good if you're going to use tank, otherwise 2h. Personally, I kept my spear, and have my ring set on Blazer since I actually do a far bit of magic during dungeons.

What else would he use? :unsure: A titan? Fruit bat > Titan at bosses because the titan is agressive, if your titan attacks the boss, the boss will almost always be on you, making you take even more damage then needed. The fruit bat also heals more per spec bar. :thumbup: He really should just get those last 2 levels though :P

people haven't trained Dungeoneering, or they hate mining.

I honestly think this thread should be locked. It's turned from a lower level player making a Harmless suggestion because he thought it was decent (and I would really find it hard to believe if everyone here didn't at some point in the RS life think that making 200k+ an hour was amazing), into a full out "argue with the low levels because we're knowledgeable" Lay of the guy seriously...for more experienced players, yes, there are MANY MANY better methods, but we were all the same point this guy was thinking making a few hundred K was awesome. Don't flame someone just because they're in that current time in their RS time and you're not anymore.

Off slayer, I wear tassets, since my Niet helm makes up for the prayer loss of the Skirt on task I wear Verac skirt, since the helm I'm wearing gives no prayer. Both have their uses, it just depends on how much you're willing to spend on pots and the specific situation. If you need range def, the tassets are better.

Untill I see a video beating 200 solo kc at bandos, I'll assume CLS is better at bandos. For almost everything else, I'd go with the rapier. (only exceptions I can think of are Saradomin and Corp

The combo ignores defense, and procs bonus damage like crazy. Downside is low base damage though. If I were in it's level range, I'd certainly go for the set. wait a sec ur telling me it ignores def entirely? dear god..... also confirmed by the #1 rs player, zerker does work on spears and he does notice his 1.2x dmg upgrade on his spear learned a few great tricks from the guy, best way to solo ferret, how to solo a lvl 500 shadow forger, how to do a 5 man lever set with 4 people hes pretty good but not as fast as some guys ive heard about, castle wars was still fastest key runner ive played with I'm interested in the level 500 Shadow forger Solo :unsure: As for the rings, well, I've got my ring set on Blazer (which is actually quiet amazing for those large dungeons where you find a ton of High level zombies and warriors), and switching the ring is just too much of a hassle to take the time to do, so I'll keep my spear unless they make ring switching faster, in which case, I'll ask one of the math guys here to prove which one is better for me (lazy :rolleyes: )
