What is new?
Looks like not much has changed in that aspect then, huh? I was maybe looking for a pleasent suprise. OH LOOK, firemaking is mad profitable now. haha, that's what I get for dreaming :)) If you pick up the ashes, Firemaking can be profitable! I seem to recall Kn1gh7 K1n6 buying a santa or two from picking up his ashes! Although he has 200m xp... He did, he did! I was quite good friends with him, back when he played. I miss that old goon. :(

Does your $5 loyaly membership keep you from quiting Runescape?
I don't think the extra few quarters is really that much of a difference. If I can pay $5, I can pay 6, or $7. I would only stop playing if it reached the same price as WoW, or even $10 for that matter. I pay $22 a month due to WoW and RS, but I think when the price of both of those subscriptions gets close to or reaches $30, I'm out.

What is new?
Well, Zaaps was right about the Karamja fish noter. His name is Stiles, so that person can be used for profitable fishing. The only deposit box is on Port Sarim. Mining is widely considered the best gathering skill money-maker for F2P; just to point you in the right direction.

What is new?
The good ol' standby of gathering skills is still your best bet to make some money. ;) Oh, and Zaaps, I'll go check it out now. See which one of us is right, for clarification purposes.

What's the best way to obtain Jugs of water for making wine?
You could always fill them yourself, at the Falador water pump. But God forbid Runescape players have to do any kind of manual labor. :ohnoes:

WARNING TO ALL SKILLERS
Very true. I'd guess this, as I don't see a reason for them to put it in game quietly, and then promptly remove it quietly.Exactly.I think it was that the bonecrusher was having an effect even if you had it in the bank. No, it was a bug. I don't own a bonecrusher and never have, but I tested the monks the other day and got prayer exp from killing them. I don't own a Bonecrusher either. ;) Well, it's patched though. So all is well in the Monastery.

WARNING TO ALL SKILLERS
It seems that the update is reversed, as I've killed 35+ of them so far now, and they've dropped bones every time. It's very possible that it might've just been a bug. Very true. I'd guess this, as I don't see a reason for them to put it in game quietly, and then promptly remove it quietly. Exactly.

My thoughts exactly.

For those with low Prayer pures.
Yep, I've taken pictures, and submitted the correction again, the Bestiary should reflect this shortly.

Monks
It seems that Jagex has reversed the update in which Monks give Prayer experience when killed. To clarify, after killing a Monk, they not longer give Prayer experience, and they now drop bones again. I hope the pictures aren't too large. My computer automatically re-sizes them for me. EDIT: I also feel that it should be noted in the Bestiary that Monks in the Monastery will heal you if you talk to them and select the "Can you heal me? I'm injured" option. I will include a picture if asked.

For those with low Prayer pures.
Are you killing the Monks in the Monastery? I don't know if there are others though. It's been personally confirmed by myself, and many others as well as members of the Crew, so I really don't see how they could drop bones for you... EDIT: It seems that Jagex has changed this update back. Monks no longer give Prayer experience, but now drop bones again.

WARNING TO ALL SKILLERS
I tried that and idk what I'm doing wrong but I can't get any xp from them. Is it only if you have low prayer level? It takes a second or two after the death for the Prayer experience to register, I'm 55 Prayer and I got experience; maybe it is for people lower than 60 or something though. Try again.

Fishing levelling?
OP said that he didn't really have Fishing areas unlocked, nor does he intend to unlock them, so mentioning places like Shilo Village or Piscatoris doesn't help him at all. Your only real options, without these two places; are Fly Fishing in the River Lum and banking in Lumbridge Castle. Or fishing lobsters or tuna/swordfish in Catherby.

RC
What you said about keeping it in perspective is true, but sometimes large numbers can be daunting or discouraging. I know it was that way when I was almost 99 Fletching. But, I advise doing Grahhk Nature runes as well, as it's fast-ish; and you'll make a nice hunk of money. ;)

WARNING TO ALL SKILLERS
Watch for stuff like this. Monks now give Prayer experience when killed, and now making staffs in Dungeoneering gives Magic. From now on, if you're a pure of any kind -- I would fully research what you're going to do before you start. Complications like this could easily lead to an account being ruined.

For those with low Prayer pures.
I suppose as someone else had mentioned, if the update it gets out and people hear about it, it could be a very nice way for accounts to get their Prayer up in the first few days/weeks/months of playing. I think it was a good idea, seeing as how burying bones is quite a hassle, especially since that's all that's available for F2P. Make the best of it! Maybe we'll even see this done to other monsters?

For those with low Prayer pures.
You turn the game chat filter off and see: The Monk's bones wriggle into the ground, burying themselves and giving you a bit of Prayer experience. I'd lol if this was actually true. Seeing as how I confirmed the actual topic, I'll see if anything like this happens. Give me a moment I'll edit this post with the result. EDIT: No, the 'Game' chat says nothing about the added Prayer experience. The only way of knowing is to watch your XP Tracker after the kill for a late +4 to be added, or to watch your Prayer XP itself.

nivel 100 lucha contra la
At least I can talk in type using proper English. Fixed. I guess 100 is a milestone, I do remember mine. 8/10. Enjoy the triple digits.

For those with low Prayer pures.
Not just Prayer experience, if that's what you're implying. They still give combat xp. :P
