[cabbage], I average 800k per hour slaying. How much did you make from 1-80 slayer and could you have made more elsewhere?
-
You can tank or pray. I don't have experience with prayer but for tanking I started at 70 def with Torag's helm an legs, Saradomin body and Zammy vambs. 60-70 def won't take you more then a few days, you should really have that as your priority.

Anyone figure out how to get the tooth from shredflesh? -
If you loath agility training like I do, then you can also fill up a BA horn. It will take a long time but it lasts for 1m exp so you can use it in the future if you ever decide to train again. Barbarian assault > running in circles. Also it takes just as much time as doing the course.

This. Though sometimes when I herbcall during ivy cutting i manage to make more then I would with a Magpie. I guess its a less afk intensive version of one.

Prayer 80 with 86 banked. Thanks guys, I'll check out a setup somewhere.

People have been raging about system updates and fight caves for ages. Nothing gets done, dungeoneering certainly wont prompt a change.

I have around 90 melees and range. I am approaching a unicorn so I want to find a cool place to use it. No turmoil or extremes. So are TDS good? Will I be making more money there then at Godwars? If I go should I solo, duo, trio?
-
The thing is, dungoneering is a new skill. There are going to be more releases for it. So the very best thing to do would be to wait to train it until it is more finished, perhaps with better training methods. That kept in mind just doing five man long dungeons on the best complexity and prestige you can gets the fastest exp. Don't use penguin points on it as the rewards are tacked to the exp gained in the game itself so penguin points wouldn't contribute to actually gaining any of the rewards.

Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
Nifflin replied to forestfrolic's topic in General Discussion
I love how that if you take a full 360 degree turn, then you continue in the exact same way. ^^, (not meant to criticize jagex or anything, just found it a bit fun :3) Brilliant, I caught on to that as well. I wonder if there is a correlation between fail math skills and fail design/marketing skills. -
Blast furnace using SC hammers to make mith arrows. It used to profit, don't know if it does anymore.

Dragon platebody came out in Nov 2008, and the chainbody came out in Sept 2004. Unless I'm missing something, because RS2 came out in March 2004, there's no way you could have wanted a dragon chest armor since classic. Another post claiming e-fame/old-schoolery. #-o No really, I did. You would just have to ask me about it someday instead of making silly assumptions. ;) Maybe he means he has been anticipating its release. I mean, a lot of people were for a long time. Spinning Dragon Plates anyone?

Am I alone in seeing the irony in someone with his display name posting on a thread about people not being nice?

Superheat mith, there might be a small loss if you buy over mid. If you want to make up for that, use a magpie and farm herbs while you superheat.
-
Two things wrong with that picture: No summoning familiars allowed at all in barrows. You can only use familiars in multi-combat areas. Barrows ain't multi. Also, a problem (I think, I wouldn't know) with summon pures is that familiars raise your levels. That could muck things up in the long term. Possibly. In barrows ARMOR. *facepalm*
-
That is false. You can get over 1m/h. You just don't want to or are inefficient. The point is unless you want to make range a slow skill that you will hate, you should chin then go to godwars to make the money back. Then go for higher mage level. It will be faster overall then doing a slow method of ranging to save money for 99 mage.

These threads are pointless, why rant about people not being nice? Why not go out there and try to change the community yourself? I spend about a day every week just helping out random lower levels I happen to meet or who are on my friends list. Yes, for one day a week I respond to "free gee pee plox" and "can i haz ur gee ess." But at the end of the day maybe I missed out on a few hundred k exp but I helped other people to enjoy the game which is much more satisfying. I think your wrong, there are boatloads of good players if you care to look. There are not however boatloads of toy boats from rs classic or 1hp characters.

If you have extreme patience a summoning tank is the coolest thing out there. When you see that level 40 in barrows with a DFS and a steel titan.. that gets respect.
-
Yep, the best over all item for that slot in the game. Its price will go up unless it gets "fixed".
-
The best you can do is something where you lose only a bit of money and do mtk, herb runs and magpies on the side to break even.
-
Wow those text colors are a headache to read. Either way, Bandos is much better then Dragon Plate. More expensive, yes, but if you are buying a Dragon Plate over a Barrows top then you are already spending millions more then you need too if def is all your looking for.

Why Dragon Bone prices will keep increasing...
Nifflin replied to Deltaer's topic in General Discussion
I said long term... They will go up again... thanks. Inflation? LoL, you're telling me that inflation is at 100%? I really doubt that the amount of money in RS is doubling every few months. People should really understand what inflation really is and how it's caused before using the term (hearing a little too much of 'inflation this', 'inflation that') Inflation is not at 100%. In fact is has greatly slowed down recently. Look at the Wiki Trade Index. Now compare it to the price of dragon bones over the same time period. Inflation is caused by more gold entering the economy, everything then becomes worth more, but items relative prices to each other stay the same. It occurs, but it is in fact healthy. This is reflected by the Common Trade Index. Dragon bones, to an extent, follow this trend. However they had an update which made them much more useful and put them in demand, which accounts for any excess increase over inflation. Ultimately however as they become less expensive more people will kill them. Also, as more of the higher leveled people get the prayer level they want, they will become less in demand. All you need to do is factor in the natural inflation to show that though they have become more expensive, this is natural and has no impact in the difficulty of acquiring them as all items also increase in parallel. -
Haven't played in over a year, bought a month tonight
Nifflin replied to cowmasta13's topic in Help and Advice
People still go but the gear needed to be competitive when killing them is pretty different. Basic overall strategy is the same. Might want to look the gear up though. -
Food and an emergency tele would be ok for this first task, but you really shouldn't need them later on at all; also bring a spec weapon like a dds instead of the EE since you shouldn't need food at all and it's pretty easy to tell when you need to pray, it really helps speed things up a bit. I doubt you will need that many super sets or anti fires. If you bank the bones with a BoB like you should then you can restock those. The only set up change for meele prayer would be maybe a stole if you have one. Bring a holy wrench if you have one too, it is worth getting as it will save you a lot over time.
