  1. Not sure this is even the right place. Sorry. I just got extreme range pots. I am now looking to do some Armadyl. If anyone has a team that would accept me, please let me know. Note, I am on hilariously fail welfare gear. But I think my stats are okay.
  2. I'm pretty sure plank and stunalch are both faster. But it's not entirely a valid comparison since these two are the most click intensive methods out there.
  3. I've added you. Add me please and we can talk. I've also started mixing the unfs with red spider eggs. This is inefficient, I know, but I'm more concerned with being able to get the exp, and it's relatively cheap either way. The dusts do buy at max in GE overnight. But I've been getting only like 100 an hour or so. Harra unfs bought instant at min when I got mine. I assume now is a bad time to try selling them even if I wanted to. Except the only alternative in that price range would be tarro unfs, which are worse than harra + eggs. EDIT: Btw, my display name got changed. It's now "I zeph noob", and I just updated the sig.
  4. I've heard, and believe I've experienced, strongly increasing yields with higher levels. When I farmed watermelons a while back, I started out filling my inventory once most of the time, and towards the end, it was closer to twice. (This was before the leprechaun noted stuff. And I say an inventory as in, after accounting for all the other junk I carried.)
  5. I can't get the bars (they don't buy either), nor do I want to sit through grinding 14k choc bars. Mixing 14k pots is enough really.
  6. How can I get some? Will I need to wait?
  7. The graph is crazy. I just bought like 14k harra unfs. And now choc dusts don't buy at max. I seem to remember them being easy to get. What happened?
  8. You really should specify whether you want to hunt them or use them.
  9. Doesn't the anchor have both a better crush and str bonus, as well as attacking at the same speed as Hammers? Hammers are like longsword, but anchor is like battleaxe, I believe it was. Both are too slow to be much good at waterfiends. Godsword is also battleaxe speed, but at least has an extremely high strength bonus.
  10. Bandos is in some sense optimal, but realistically insignificant compared to most other improvements you could get. Would be better if you went for cheapish gear and focused on buyable skills first. Look at it this way, for the cost of full bandos and fury, you can buy 84 herblore.
  11. Well I read your post before the edit. Yea, range pot components have both been recently merched. I'm personally still curious about barb mixes though. Do the components buy? Do the products sell? Is it Make-X? I was recently unable to buy caviar at max. I still don't know where to get masses of (2) pots.
  12. 200 each should do fine, with the accumulator. You should switch to diam when nomad is at lower health anyway.
  13. That's a strange suggestion from a practical perspective. Sara sword is worse than whip+defender, and only really useful for training specifically strength. Most slayers would advise using whip on controlled. Dragon plate is a joke. And maybe a decent status item. The defense increase is insignificant when you're fighting weak things with good available healing. Besides which, barrows is better defensively and it'll be years before you pay enough in repairs to offset the price difference.
  14. Relatively recently, more than a month ago. Not that it won't work but I've heard the rate at which you could spam has been greatly reduced. And yea, diamond does eliminate the chance of dying to your own ruby spec when he does the extremely high hit. (I lost once more than I should have due to that.)
  15. full guthan (for a sorta reliable healing source) black mask (make into slay helm asap) whip + defender rfd gloves + glory + dboots + rol / warrior + any cape That's under 10m. The remaining won't buy you much improvement and is probably better spent on supplies. If I were you I'd get a cheapish outfit and then train summoning with the remaining gp. Bunyip is a far more reliable and carefree source of healing. Then you won't need full guthan, which is quite finicky.
  16. They nerfed kyatt. Vulxai's setup is roughly what I used. I took a stack of diamond bolts for Nomad's zerker mode. For a shield, use a spirit shield, blessed if you can get, so you don't suffer mage defense penalties.
  17. Unless you have a reliable source about the accuracy, I'm more inclined to believe all spells have the same accuracy. You can use whichever multi target spell you want. People use the highest in a class (ice burst/barrage) because it has the highest hit in a given price range.
  18. There's no real official mechanism. Usually what people do is create an account with the clan chat name they want and use it for administrative purposes. Then everyone just goes there.

You can have as many ferocious rings as you want.
  20. It is inaccurate. Dragonhide doesn't save you from high level ancients. Not when you melee. Hides will make the mage miss quite often, but eventually you do still get immobilized. The point is to use hides and range, so that while the mage is splashing most of the time, your arrows/bolts are completely accurate, because a mage has minimal range defense. The more accurate statement would be, dragonhide alone doesn't save you from mages. Good thing too, or melee would be even more dominant being able to wear hides carelessly. Of course, your own stats factor into the equation. A 99 mage will freeze a level 70 wearing just about anything, just like 99 attack will hit the same level 70, again in just about anything. Anyway, about SC, what I usually see is a reasonable amount of good fighters on both sides. What often happens, though, is they wander aimlessly on one team, while someone on the other team has organized a decent PK party to spawn camp with. The first team could easily have done the same with teamwork.
  21. I've always wondered: How many herbs can you clean an hour by concentrating? I've heard optimally 8-10k with mousekeys. But I doubt it's worth your wrist health and sanity to attempt that.
  22. Where do you get masses of (2) pots? Or is it up to you to hand decant from (4)s? EDIT: Hm, I can't buy caviar at max to try. Do you have to click each pot or is it also Make-X? Also, which sell back to GE and which become junk?

Really, I suspect there's enough supply floating around from all the rune selling to keep prices low if everyone realized the market's situation. But, the average RS player being who they are, there will be continued panics over the rarity of onyx, and it will actually go up instead. Furies don't leave the game much, since they protect over almost anything. New demand isn't going to be that extreme either. It's all mentality.
  24. If you wonder why ancient mages do well, it's because of the overabundance of meleers. In castle wars, for example, about 95% of the team is only melee, and maybe 80% of them don't even carry dragonhide. Of course they're going to get massacred by magic. Want to beat a mage? Use range as at least part of your strategy. Running headfirst into ice barrage wearing rune is not the answer. Complaining afterwards isn't the answer either.
