  1. The tank in my sig shoots Psycho... he's just outside the left edge of the picture
  2. 11/11 I likez teh Starz and its a German Leopard2 A6 tank
  3. I'm not going to say that Melee is overpowered. The fact that I can tank while being attacked by a meleer or two, a mage and a ranger (albeit, all around level 75-80, tanking against four level 90's at level 94 is unheard of, at least for me) is proof that something is wrong here. -What Goodboy is thinking of is that in multi-way a single person would be shredded by a team, that being a tank would no longer work. Unfortunately, that shouldn't happen, which gives rise to my point, balancing the combat triangle could possibly create another problem: Multi combat. By balancing the combat triangle it would effectively make it possible for groups in pvp/bh worlds to waylay single people with no chance of their escape. The real problem with this lies in the fact that these areas are all over. Correct me if I'm wrong on this, I dont spend much time outside of the SoS and clan wars lol. Anyway, it would make pvp almost impossible for people without a group. And travel would be incredibly difficult as well, if you didnt want to teleport into a hotzone like varrock square, which is also multi-combat I think -I'm not saying this is a reason to keep from balancing it out, but it does pose a serious threat to lone PKers.
  4. For my idea, the npcs keep it dangerous because I'm afraid it might get kinda spread out. As for the BH/PvP, I think there sould be a lower player limit per world to keep it from lagging so terribly, which was one of the problems raised earlier, and a quick clarification question... what's EP?
  5. I personally, like things the way they are, mostly because I sucked at PKing, I could not PK for me life, or my character's life lol. anyway, what If Jagex made one world just like the normal worlds except that it was the God Wars. At the prayer level you enter the monastery, you must pick a side Saradomin or Zamorack. Then on this world, you would combine with armies of NPCs for all out PKing/Killing things in general. But these would be high levle NPCs in the lower 90's to the upper 120's. There'd be various rewards, probably mostly untradable, across sidest at least. Example: saradomin soldiers cannot trade saradomin rewards to zamorackians (sp?) -It would be all over, very, very few safe places, so there's constant danger -Roaming Packs of NPCs on different sides can attack you, and its free for all with no sign of allegience a cape, hood, armor set etc. -higher exp/rewards for braving it Yes I know this should go in bugs/suggestions, but it seems like a possible solution, plus I wanted to bounce it off of some people first.
  6. Why not combine the two? By far the easiest thing would be to give something that provides better exp than the Giant Spiders in the SoS and that has worthwhile drops.
  7. Bigger IS better
  8. Very well made sig 8.25/10, 1) am I allowed to edit a previous rating? 2) I was kind of hoping I'd get extra points for poetry anyway :P
  9. True, that was a bit of a mistake on my part... am I allowed to edit? anyway, going off of just looks and not counting that I'm not a fan of those cartoons/animations/anime (I'm not sure what I should call it, some people I know can be very touchy about this) 8.01/10 [facetiality] do I get extra points for having poetry in my sig?[/facetiality]
  10. 5340 I can't believe that there were so few reactions to my pic... you guys need... I dunno, but you need something.
  11. I don't like the idea of giving F2P grunt work, but that might be just my being in that group. But that aside, I think there'd be more problems than just bots, price crashes, etc if this went through. While yes, giving such grunt tasks to us, would in fact make it easier on you, and most of the lower levels would flock to those skills, for a good profit; The older players on the other hand would probably be indignat at the very least. We (the older F2Pers)even if we haven't had first hand experience, would know, plain and simple, that these tasks are essentially what people give to servants slaves. -Please note that I am making NO IMPLICATION OF ANY SORT with this-. It's a fact. the pre-civil war slaves did, for the most part, the jobs that required no real mental power at all and that had no benefit at all to the person performing the task, Roman slavemasters, Assyrian slavemasters, its all the same. -At the best case scenario, all the high level F2Pers will just be indifferent, ignoring, or maybe using the skills to their own advantage. If i could make steel arrows, then that's a lot easier than training low level monsters for them. -Worst case scenario, they (myself included) complain to Jagex. Really, there's not a whole lot that we'd be able to do. Start a riot? like that would change anything, even if we could get the lower levels to rally behind us. Just food for thought, though you couldn't hold a whip over them, it would, in the end, degenerate into the servant/master sort of distinction, In my opinion the best compromise would be to give F2P some of the lower levels of what are currently members skills, but enough that we could actually gain something from them, like being able to mine and use pure ess, or allowing us to fletch and use yew bows/rune arrows. That type of thing. Sorry if this just devolved into a basic rant over 'F2P n33dz mor st00fz pl0x' :P I started with a good idea in mind, but I'm tired, so...
  12. 5350-1 = waffles. nah, but it does equal 5349. and here's something I posted in the jokes sticky but I thought you might like it too. EDIT: I cant believe I joined in on this madness.... #-o

  18. I've gone to a lot of trouble to reach a goal... those goals, however, never have been in Runescape. At least not the uber-important ones.

  22. Banned for crippling the world's level of though by banning thinking :P
  23. I'm very pleased and somewhat disappointed that someone brought up the difference between browser and non-browser based games. For a second I thought I could have got some pictures from various games such as Shayia and others. Glad I read it all the way through or I would have looked pretty..um... stupid to say the least. If you really look at it though, They are pretty similar. - Free to play (to some extent) - Quick sign up, downloading Shayia (as an example) took almost no time at all - Has a pay to play extention The difference is in depth e.i. Runescape has non-combat skills, and it's not class based. And on the topic of advertisement, some of the non-browser based games, at least one for sure, have killer advertisement videos. EDIT: I was having trouble thinking of their names lol. another example of the non-browser based games would be: WoW -facepalm-, as well as that space game EVE. I'm sure there has to be more of them though.
