Tip.It Times - 11th November 2012
Of course not everyone who has the requirements wants to go bossing, it would be absurd to think so. My main point was really that legacy issues have created a problem where an NPC that drops a certain tier level of equipment is not obtainable by the players it's aimed at because said NPC is also being killed by high level players because of multiple reasons: 1. There isn't a higher tier of items available to players so they fight the most relevant boss monster. 2. The difficulty or requirement gap between bosses is so large that one is either too easy or one is too hard.

The Evolution of Combat: BETA discussion
Haven't seen anyone mention this yet which surprises me. In the live stream yesterday Mod Chris explained a change to the momentum ability. On top of what it already does, it will also automatically activate a basic ability every 20-30 seconds.

BTS#26 - Solo Dungeoneering
So in the new live stream they just revealed that next weeks update will also update the bind system. You can now have 10 binds in a pool that's accessed through the smuggler which can then be assigned to three different load outs. Definitely looking forward to this.

The Ultimate Trimmed Completionist Cape!?!??!?
What is the max kc at Barrows?
-
The Ultimate Trimmed Completionist Cape!?!??!?
This would take even longer than Cwars games. Let's at least keep the list to things that are actually possible in a human lifetime.

The Ultimate Trimmed Completionist Cape!?!??!?
Actually yeah, you're right lol. I originally read it as 114.073 but it's 114,073.
-
The Ultimate Trimmed Completionist Cape!?!??!?
For that many Cwars games, it would take 114 years of literally nothing but the minigame to do it.
-
The Ultimate Trimmed Completionist Cape!?!??!?
Considering each castle wars game is 30 minutes, it would be literally impossible to play that many games of Cwars.

06-Nov-2012 - Tears of Guthix update
Been there for a long time before this update. You'll likely lose that temptation soon when you see the metric [bleep]-ton of primal sets out there. I was actually going to go for Saggitarian but I assume there's just as many people with that too.

06-Nov-2012 - Tears of Guthix update
Actually tempted to get some for the ability to wear a full set of dg armour outside of Daemonheim.

06-Nov-2012 - Tears of Guthix update
Has anyone else noticed the cave entrance past Juna? I haven't been there in a while but i'm pretty sure it wasn't there before.

Your first 99?
Like many others, Attack.

Future Update Discussions
I did actually watch some of this last night. From how they were talking about 2013 being about the gods and changing of the year from 169 to 170 is going to be huge Im pretty sure the new skills are going to somehow be related to the gods in a very specific way.

Wouldn't be surprised if the teleport can only be used once a day/week.

The Evolution of Combat: BETA discussion
I found the tutorial to be pretty helpful in explaining the basics of each type of ability, it could have been expanded upon MUCH more though and the super basic explanation of the combat triangle really wasn't needed.

Future Update Discussions
I'm thinking of a new power granted to us by the gods. I'm thinking of something like Clairvoyance, or talking to the dead. Now that I'm thinking about it, with this major overhaul of the combat system, could they also be developing a skill that finally allows us to heal a group or heal ourselves without having to eat? Bit of a far shot, but hey, it could be anything! Don't forget that these skills consist of a gathering and finishing skill. They may not be directly related but I would expect the gathering skill at least to include some kind of new tangible good as opposed to clairvoyance. If Jagex were going to introduce a form of self healing into the game I would expect it to be an offshoot of Magic. Not to mention some of the new abilities heal you too. Although it'll probably never happen I would love to see some kind of transformation skill akin to the avatars we become with some of the magic abilities. Crafting your own artifacts that let you transform into humanoid creatures with their own unique abilities would be pretty amazing in my opinion.

200M in all Skills
I usually agree with the view that nobody has the right to judge or tell others on how to live their lives. However throwing away an education to play a video game is where I would draw the line. Education being more important than digital entertainment is arguably borderline objective rather than subjective. The human mind, by its very nature is compelled to learn about its surroundings and to better itself in learning about the world. If education and intelligence aren't inherently important we would still be living in primitive settlements. Off topic but ah well.

Ransoms!? I don't think kidnap is the answer. XD

24-Oct-2012 - Halloween 2012: Haunted Houses
That and all the recent holiday events have been centred around a repeatable timed event. Quest orientated holiday events were far better than these D&D styled ones.

Willing to bet they will be on Solomon's for sale.... or possibly, but less likely, squeal of fortune prizes. I can't see this happening. Removing content and making it a micro transaction would cause such a massive shitstorm.

Hallowe'en Treat: Scary Bonus XP Weekend!
Okay...I don't know if you were replying to someone else or you just didn't read my post but either way, the latter half of your post was entirely irrelevant, you seem to be just going off on a rant. Anyway, the reason I still play RuneScape is because I enjoy it and find it fun. Yes I have some grievances with Jagex but I can look past them if it means I still get to enjoy the game I have continuously played for almost 10 years. I never said it was a huge deal, I said It was discontent at some of the choices they make, the blatant change in rules on RWT being one them. I have no qualms with companies changing policy, but if they are going to do so, they need to be open about it and tell their players why that particular change has occurred. Why you bought micro transactions up I literally have no idea, but if you want to know my views on them that bad then feel free to read this; http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?times=909

Hallowe'en Treat: Scary Bonus XP Weekend!
It's not anger, it's discontent. Whether it is beneficial to players or not is irrelevant to the issue I have with them. You can't trust a company that so willingly changes it's stance on such controversial decisions.

200M in all Skills
Why is it stupid? The thread is about players competing for 200m in all skills. If that isn't the persons goal there is no reason for them to be on the list. Quite simple really.

Hallowe'en Treat: Scary Bonus XP Weekend!
They backtracked to do something that would help more than hurt people for once. It is preposterous how people will complain over anything, even something meant to be beneficial. You don't have to buy spins or solomon crap for this. Even f2p gets a boost. What the hell people? Stop being mad because you used all your charms or sold/used all you raw materials or can't play this weekend. I did all 3 of those, deal with it. Yeah, cool man, quoting out of context is always a good thing to do. Make sure you keep doing it! I couldn't give a rats ass if everyone in the game got 99 Summoning over the weekend, honestly, it literally has no bearing on my enjoyment of the game. If you go back and read my post instead of raging all over the place, I said I take issue with Jagex's business plans, morals and ethics. It makes no difference to me if people can train a skill faster than normal, it does make a difference when Jagex constantly say one thing and then do the exact opposite of what they said. Do as I say and all that.
