  1. I find it hard to feel any sympathy for you losing one phat considering your total bank value. I do however completely understand the principle of the situation. People telling him to just not stake are retarded. He shouldn't have to not use a part of the game he enjoys because some little piss ant finds it funny to DDoS people. This kind of thing has always happened to people who advertise their wealth though. You may as well put a sign above your head that says "Hey y'all, my bank is open to everyone, take all my shit pl0x."
  2. I was thinking more along the lines of if you cook food on a bonfire they get the same ability that rocktail has of boosting your lp past it's max with higher quality fires giving better boosts.
  3. Depending on how widespread it is across different channels then this could potentially draw in a pretty big audience. This is definitely a decision made by the investors to try and make RS more mainstream.
  4. What a joke lol. I've been pretty apathetic about the SoF so far but this is such an unsurprising desperate grab for people to buy spins. Just did my 3 spins and in only one of them did a a tattoo or horn item show up on the wheel. The rest were still just 50gp etc. needless to say I got [bleep] all.

  6. On release day if you got taken by a random and failed it you were put in a random spot and lost all your points so this what they fixed I guess. Also, is it me or are nodes now lasting way longer than before? A Blood Pool came up and we were siphoning it for a good 5 minutes before it disapeared.
  7. That's true but doesn't the majority of Nex's damage come from her special attacks? Besides, this is a solo boss and considering Nex is practically impossible to solo bar the few bugs that people abuse I can't see her being in the same league. EDIT: I'll just put this here.
  8. To be honest, I don't see this boss being anywhere near the level of Nex. The clues are in the BTS really. When Nex came out they basically said if you weren't maxed you weren't going to get far. This one is pitched towards a minimum combat level of 120. Sure it will probably be hard, just not that level of hard. The mention of Nomad is making me think more along the lines of her being able to do a dodgable attack that hits max life points -1.
  9. The one quote I have seen mentioning an 'endurance fight' specifically said it was NOT one. Also a tail lash would not be a ranged attack because lashing something is a melee move. Maybe firing tail barbs though. I could have sworn it said that it was going to be an endurance fight, but not as long as the fight kiln. I posted the quote a few pages back. It said QBD was less endurance fight like the Kiln and more Nomad in the sense of needing to dodge attacks.
  10. dragon c'bow! :rolleyes: You could be onto something :) I highly doubt it. 1) Dragon-orientated means related too fighting dragons or made from dragons. Dragon armour doesn't really fit this category, things like d-hides and visages do. 2) Why specifically name Dragon kiteshield and not c-bow? Especially seeing how c-bow is more asked fro than kite these days. 3) A few Jmods have said repeatedly, and recently, we probably won't see d c-bow for a very longtime, if ever, because chaotic is essentially the stats etc dragon would've been. I highly doubt it. 1) Dragon-oriented means related to dragons, so dragon armor fits into this category. 2) They don't want to cause any panic, because announcing the release of such an anticipated item would be economically devastating. 3) A few jmods said repeatedly that there won't be microtransactions. I think oriented is a keyword. If they were to make dragon c'bow, warhammer, sword, etc. they would probably have said "Dragon Equipment". Although it would be nice if they completed the equipment set just for completionist sake. But I get how it would be a waste of development time. My guess is maybe weapons that have bonus damage % against dragons & wyverns. We'll just have to wait and see. Edit: Now imagine if we got a Dragonfire armour set. Maybe pass torva in str but not defence. That would be cool. All pieces doing the Dragonfire shield special at once... A new set of armour would be rad, especially if it was a decent and untradable set. That way only people that can actually kill the boss would be able to get it. I'm pretty sure Jagex mentioned a while ago that they wanted all future armour releases above Nex gear to be untradeable.
  11. ENTJ also. Not too sure on the E to be honest. I'm pretty much smack bang in the middle when it comes to Introvert/Extrovert. Other than Fc/Pc I Don't usually speak in public chat due to either laziness or people just don't talk. I'll actively have a conversation with anyone who is trying though. I don't go out of my way to be as efficient as possible but I will always use the most efficient training method out there and don't like to waste time on training methods that I know aren't as good as others. Other than that I can't stomach idiots and if someone is being a moron in public chat I'll be having some fun with them.
  12. What like a special effect or something? I kinda hope not, it wouldn't really feel like a set if a single piece did something special. I'm sure in the end the other new "dragon-themed gear" will overshadow the kite anyway. What I'm wondering is if this new dungeon will actually be the rework or an offshoot of the Brimhaven Dungeon. Also curious as to what they'll do with spike/gold trim kits in light of the plate set being "complete". My guess is they will either add kits for the kite to the QBD's drop list or just add them to existing rewards for elite clues. That or they'll just make the existing kits work for square and kite shields which is probably unlikely.

  15. Although I do agree with your point, Firemaking was already semi-afkable with curly roots in the Jadinko lair. With Firemaking more than any other skill they need to actually implement new content that utilises the skill to do something rather than introduce more ways to train it.
  16. Sounds like a good month. QBD; by the sounds of it is getting her own new dungeon with some new Slayer mobs, I can deal. I'm actually quite impressed with the way Jagex are handling newb quests nowadays. They've obviously learnt that people don't care as long as there's some sort of reward for vets. Lol @ the Dragon Kiteshield though, it really isn't needed other than to complete a set that nobody actually uses for combat. I'm guessing her other drops are going to actually be useful.
  17. Why? Because they made one of the most tedious, boring and grindy skills in the game more bearable and fun to train? MMO's change and get easier over time. It's called natural progression, get over it.
  18. So in other words it's just pure speculation that Jagex have actually changed anything. Considering the fact that nothing was actually game breaking and there was no bug abuse I seriously doubt there has actually been any Hotfix. I'm just going to wait until tomorrow to see if any mods put a post up unless anyone can provide a link to where they have actually said something was changed.
  19. Sad, was nice while it lasted. Can we get a source or quote for this Hotfix please? I looked everywhere on RSOF and saw no Jmod posts at all; just a bunch of players saying RuneSpan is [bleep]ed. I'll take this supposed fix with a grain of salt. I'd say it's far more likely that the stupid amount of low level nodes that people aren't siphoning is stopping high level ones from spawning. Go take a look on the lowest floor, you will actually find it hard to stand somewhere without being on a node.
  20. Yea, it's such a waste of time. I mean, you only get rc exp from actually siphoning it (with higher level spheres giving more exp) plus 10exp per dust, of which you can trade in 1k at a time giving you a bonus 10k exp on top of the fact that it lasts for ages meaning you can afk it.
  21. Surprisingly, I've had absolutely no lag or slowdown at all in any of the floors even with graphics settings maxed. Yet, one trip to edge and my laptop still spazzes out. To the guy above, Jagex have stated numerous times that they want rune prices to go up as a result of the RuneSpan to make traditional Rcing to be more profitable which, to be honest, I completely agree with. Polypore staff has made Mage stupidly cheap to use so I see no issue with rune prices going up. I don't really see how it's a minigame either, more of a self contained skilling area akin to HH.

Nomad in Dominion Tower will no longer get stuck between two pillars. Starving NPCs will now only eat one item of stackable food during Temple Trekking. An NPC cutting down a tree in Temple Trekking now shows the correct tree stump. It is now possible to destroy Court Case objects if a player manages to get hold of them outside of a court case. Other: 120 Dungeoneering is now announced through the player broadcast system. Broadcasts will also now only appear once for each achievement. Several Grand Exchange armour sets are now using the correct derived prices from their components in the trade tracker. Checks around bought Squeal of Fortune spins have been made tighter to prevent players from not receiving them. The graphics options screen now fully displays in the lobby. The make-x interface now shows cutting a red topaz as the cut version instead of the uncut. A typo on the Investigator's Notebook in Player owned house bookcases has been fixed. A typo on trying to quickswitch a Dungeoneering ring has been fixed. Torch sound effects have been made quieter. [/hide]
