"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Doesn't really matter what you choose to do right now or how you act, considering you're both in the infatuation honeymoon stage right now. Things that she would otherwise consider needy/clingy will likely be considered romantic/caring instead. You can probably imagine what else I have to say regarding the future of your "relationship" so I'll spare you that :P

Weight reduction has been pretty arbitrary ever since the run-energy/musician update, plus the fact that -999kg is the same as 0kg

Noxx you should see how long it takes her to ask you "where this is going" before you ask her out

By "literature," do you mean like specific websites/blogs/eBooks or something? Or just the overall concept of "inner game?"

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
:wall: I'll try to be concise: She's not attracted to you. You like her way more than she likes you. You say you won't tolerate her disrespect or be walked over, yet you continue to promise exclusivity to her and stick with her till the late hours of the morning even after she's cheated on you. You're not being her chivalrous, caring boyfriend; you're being her ass-kissing provider while she goes and [bleep]s the guys she actually is attracted to. Cut your losses and move on.

If one person is seeing other people while you're still promising to see only your partner, then there's something wrong.

If she's cheated on you already, then you're wasting your time by being exclusive with her... You're not even in a monogamous relationship anymore. Either dump her or tell her you're going to start seeing other girls and she can stick around if she wants.

The best ways to get over it are more or less restricted to poly people :\

This isn't her problem, it's yours. If you didn't feel jealous, then you wouldn't be posting here or complaining about it... I'll say it again: It's not a matter of her "disrespecting" you-- it's a matter of your jealousy. She's going to keep seeing him, whether it means anything or not, and whether you like it or not. My advice to you is: learn to deal with it. The more you keep complaining to her about it, the less attracted to you she will become. You're acting very needy right now. Stop.

:wall: More knee-jerk reactions to protect emotionally-immature people from being offended. God forbid they tell the person who feels uncomfortable to grow up or go somewhere else

Sizzling Summer Blow Out!
RS will live as long as people continue to pay for membership. Which is ironic because it seems that the people who don't have membership are bored and have moved on, while the people here complaining are the ones who refuse to stop playing.

Could you provide some examples of what people would be worried about? And some alternative methods to achieve the aforementioned mindset? I'm getting the feeling that you're against a guy having multiple options >_>

Putting something on a pedestal implies that you think more of them than they deserve through personal merit. That isn't always true. Not sure what you're trying to say here. Could you elaborate? That people get nervous when on dates for more reasons than over-idolizing the person they want to impress. To also use the phrases you used with such a specific context & your particular preferences, it kinda seems like you're putting an unnecessarily negative spin on wanting to impress someone simply because it's someone - particularly one woman. IDK MAN. EDIT: Yeah the black and white "outcome a"/"outcome b" is kind of what I'm talking about here... Well would you agree that having more than one date on the calendar would make each date less nerve-wracking?

I don't want to open this can of beans again as it's way past its expiration date, but most guys don't do polyamorous relationships, and a large percentage of women preffer having feelings towards a guy that they don't have to share with others. The way it usually happens is: Girl meets poly guy Girl dates poly guy Girl realizes poly guy won't get exclusive Outcome A: Girl leaves poly guy Poly guy finds another girl, and replaces her Outcome B: Girl stays with poly guy Girl eventually meets mono guy Girl leaves poly guy to date mono guy Girl gets bored of mono guy, returns to poly guy The girl's personality here is more or less irrelevant. The vast majority of girls will follow that pattern... everybody says "oh I could never do that poly thing!" But most of them really will, they just don't know it ;) (random thought while typing this response: Poly Guy sounds like the name of a Pokemon )

If you ever need a quick list of advantages you have over the average guy, just imagine yourself talking to someone who's making up excuses as to why they can't do the things you do. Ex: "no noxx I can't do that because I've never traveled the world like you have; you have an awesome sense of humor but I don't; I'm not as smart as you" etc

Even if you're experienced at dating, you'll still very susceptible to nervousness like Noxx is currently experiencing. In which case, the nerves are stemming from putting the girl on a pedestal and not having any other options going for you. You don't have to be having sex with other girls to have other options. Just having 10 dates scheduled for one week to see where they go is infinitely better than dating one girl at a time.

Odd. I've found that most girls find guys who have a lot of options to be very, very, very attractive. Abundance overrides any sort of "neediness" that may be inferred from that. I think I've made it pretty obvious that I don't need women to be happy. And I do a pretty good job of communicating that to the people I'm with.

His neediness will magically vanish (or at least go way, way down), and therefore he'll be happier and more attractive He'll have more options, and thus better odds of finding a high-quality girl
