Dark bow is only useful for its spec... it's exactly twice as slow as crystal but shoots two arrows at a time. However, "crystal arrows" are more powerful than the dark bow ammo you'd be using (unless you'd be willing to waste 15k per shot with dragon arrows instead of 72gp per shot w/ crystal). For training the MSB or crossbow is way better. Dark bow is so slow that someone can steal your monster in-between your shots.

Ive found a nice way of dealing with the jad spawn, just turn the game SFX on and keep range prayer on with mouse hovered over mage. If you hear ANY sound turn mage on and run to wherever the attack came from. The rane attack is silent untill it hits you but mage sounds like retribution prayer (the one that hurts everybody around when you die). Is easiest to judge the start by the sounds rahter than feet, as you rarely see his feet. i just can't get past the healers, im not a very good multitasker I already covered that in the guide >_>

ANSWER: First the cross bow is WAY to slow and it'll make it harder in the long run, I recommend shooting ogres to test how often it hits and to see if its worth it. If you can afford the test then I wouldn't do it. If I have time I might do some tests and let you know but when it came out if was thought it would help I tried it then and it was slow. I'm not suggesting that you use only the crossbow, but bring it along in addition to the crystal bow, then while fighting Jad, switch to it for a while until the special hits, then switching to the crystal bow. I've never even tried the fight caves but it seems like sacrificing one inventory space for even a chance to hit as high as 70 would be worth it. Danton, crossbows are the best weapons for caves now - they have cheaper, more powerful ammo and they fire at the same speed as the crystal bow

Actually, there are dozens of things that we could change based just on how bright the screen is. Image standardization-maps, images, mosnters. All sorts of things you can think of ;) I don't understand :oops: You mean you'd change the brightness of the dungeon maps or monster pics for different brightness settings?

Don't bring a ring of life, it'll eject you out of the mini-game (unless that bug was fixed). Either way, it's useless; use a recoil

Actually the real reason is because there was a bug to take blood runes out of Barbarian Assault - within a week, hundreds of players were extracting hundreds of thousands of runes daily.

DDS cant throw out an instant 70+ damage. It can hit 80+
