Double exp requiring little work to get is definitely worth it. As said above, get a few higher leveled friends to kill it after you hit it once.

You essentially want the healers to have their attention on you and not be near jad. The best way I've found is to get them all on you and trap them behind each other so only one or two are hitting you.

Oak larders w/ sc hammers are the fastest exp you can do.

If you can afford a blessed spirit shield(2.7m), get it. Otherwise, a normal spirit shield will work too. Both have good def bonuses and don't decrease range accuracy at all.

I don't see efficiency and being an elitist as the same at all. One is how you play, the other is the attitude or mentality while you play. To OP: It's a game, do what you find to be fun. If you want to go for exp/profit, go with what vex said.

Haha p2p has been waiting for a good smithing update also. Seems like almost every other skill has gotten some kind of big update in the past few years.

Only real use for guthans is if you are guthan/ranging the fight caves. Outside of that, EEE(or even the EE), bunyip/unicorn, and SS flashing are far better healing methods.

Pretty much. You always should want to get a slayer helm as fast as you can because of how useful it is. After that, the other abilities/items are not nearly as necessary(although extremely useful), so you can just get the rest of the items as you do normal slaying from your best master.

Pretty much the best way to go about using the gloves on mage. If that is too complex, then do either one. Both are great exp. I'm personally doing hunter kits.

Like every other post so far... slayer :thumbsup: If you really just want the fastest exp possible for your stats, you could do spiders, but I still think slayer would be better for you in the long run, especially if you find that grinding in one spot gets tedious.

Make sure you have the 6 minute grave and you should be fine unless you have a major DC. The only place I can think of that you would have a chance of not getting back to your grave in time is terror dogs w/o a ring of slaying, which almost every slayer should have.

This is correct. They go either in designated groups (two orcs and knight for example) or alone and follow certain paths. You just got unlucky to be at the course during their time on that path.

Other players are going to have an offensive advantage over you because most pker's are pures. If you really want to get into PvP, my best advice is either make a pure or get your strength much higher.
