  1. You could become a range tank if you got bored :D PKers like Tzhaar Own are absolutely unbelievable, and their stats aren't much on top of yours (by which i mean considering you got 95 summoning the stats you would have to get wouldn't compare in difficulty/time).
  2. World 137 and world 124 were lagging out every 1 - 2 minutes for around 30 minutes on monday, it was a mission to get anything done.
  3. Right, but they both add to the net supply of prayer exp. Cut out dragon bone botters, which are a huge percentage of prayer exp added to the game, and you affect both frost and dragon bone prices (as well as ourg and dagganoth). Cut out them and new ones will come.. - Heck if it wouldn't be viable to bot, normal players would go there.. The limitation is not the difficulty to kill X/hour.. It is the limitation on spawn-time/hour. And a lot of bots have to be removed before the kill-time becomes substantional to the spawn time! You think green dragons are going to be packed on every world when they can attack each other? Maybe the chaos tunnels, but the overworld spawns are going to be pretty dead. That times over a hundred worlds is a pretty big supply difference however you cut it. They were packed before wilderness removal.. The bot owners answer to pkers was: just send more bots with 3/4 items only. No they weren't. Not like they are now. Actually, they were. I would struggle to find a world where there weren't at least 3 - 4 other people at easts, and that was before the release of clan wars (no easy teleport that is near the dragons).
  4. Quit moaning about cost if you don't want cheaper suggestions.
  5. There will still be bots, not as many but i think there will definitely be a fair few. Plus, there are many other spots out now that weren't there before the old wilderness was removed.
  6. They see me lootin... they hatin...
  7. A lot of bots will be able to recognise objects based on their ID, not simply colours/names etc (not all, but some). Maybe if Jagex could add a random factor to the same object, which would make the box suddenly be filled with excrement (pleasant, by the way) then bots would be well and truly screwed :D A quick side note... The next time Firefox tries to correct 'recognise' to 'recognize' or 'colours' to 'colors' i am going to be forced to slap a [garden tool].
  8. some of us would rather just play the game and not waste time doing menial things ex kids that camp aubury's shack, or talk to you for no apparent reason and report you if you ignore them 'fun' shouldn't be based on the size of your e-peen. Fun is doing what you enjoy regardless of what the next guy is doing. My reply was not childish, I was merely pointing you in the right direction so you don't make the same mistake twice  Some people get enjoyment from improving RS overall, instead of just plowing through (while most likely moaning about the problem) and never giving the 15 seconds it takes to help combat the issue. I'm just sayin'... Unnecessary sarcasm intended as a blow to the OP/his suggestion. Implying his thread doesn't deserve views. Randomly taking digs at someone's suggestion/idea seems pretty childish to me. OT: I think that with the assist system and report system in place the right click menu would be very overcrowded (i know you can turn assist off, but a lot of people prefer not to due to frequent use/being pretty cool guys and not afraid of anything). Although, with the new right click system it could be a decent time to suggest such a thing. I don't see it happening, though. It would make reporting too easy, people would make quick mistakes or just spam report for no good reason. Just more things for Jagex to deal with, where the current system has worked consistently well for years.
  9. Thank you so much for all the advice :D! It is going to help me big time in the future. I tried to upgrade to 2.5 on my netbook, but due to the migity screen and mouse pad it didn't go so well. Perhaps i wil actually try it on a computer next time.
  10. Ahh, i am also using Blender. I am pretty much a complete noob on the modelling side of things, more experienced in creating games with basic shapes to try and get something on the go. So far the only thing i have created is a horribly ugly Korasi sword that i am only using in a sweeping animation for the titles for a korasi PKing video. It will do considering it is just a 1 second, motion blurred animation heh. I really appreciated the offer on the .blend files, and i may well take you up on it. However for now i feel i would rather do it myself and improve than leech someone else's work and stay at the same, average level. Cheers for the quick and detailed reply, i really appreciate it. EDIT: Do you create just the models, or the UV maps as well? If both, i was wondering what program you used to create the UV maps. I used Photoshop for the Korasi sword, but it was very tedious and glitchy.
  11. Hi, i know that it is possible to extract some models from the crap that RS downloads to your PC (can't remember the name of it all). I was just wondering, what format are the models? I am thinking about using them in a future video instead of recreating the models (if i can work out how to extract them). Thanks.
  12. Efficient - "performing or functioning in the best possible manner with the least waste of time and effort" You said efficient, by the very definition it is the best. So you did suggest it. >Implying there can't be multiple levels of efficiency, e.g. darts being more efficient than a bow but less efficient than chinchompas. I didn't realise there were multiple levels of the best. By the way it is defined, although understandibly different considering the source, efficient means the best. That's it. Depends on what the best is. I would rather pay out 100m to get the bow, get 99 range in a good time and resell the bow than to spend 30m and lose it to get 99 range quickly. Therefore, the best for me would be the bow, and therefore is more efficient. Best = relative, what is most efficient for one player may be less so for another. You forgot with least possible expense.

  14. At 80 range with no other bonuses but the range strength from dragon stone bolts the max hit would be 254. Add void and extra levels on and you have some seriously fast training. Who knows, maybe even a special attack? No. Just no. They said it would be the same speed as a chaotic bow, which is the same speed as other crossbows-- 4 speed (5 on rapid). That is too slow to be efficient for training. I completely disagree. I used to train with mithril bolts and a c'bow and got some decent experience. With such power and accuracy of course it will be efficient training. So...since YOU trained with a crossbow, and not with Knives, you're right, and other people are wrong? Sorry to tell you this, but the best range Xp comes from throwing Knives and Chinchompas...Crossbows do not compare in training, at all. Not even with Onyx bolts. And do you honestly think a No-ammo bow isn't going to come with some other draw back? Perhaps it randomly destroys itself like the handcannon, perhaps it has charges and dissapears like Pvp items, perhaps it has the same style as Barrows and Chaotics, it lasts for a time, then needs to be recharged. I'm just gonna go ahead and ask you to quote me on where i said it would be the best or most efficient experience. Cheers [bleep] head. Lol you said, "With such power and accuracy of course it will be efficient training". Also why is it when someone disagrees with another poster they feel they must insult them? And it undoubtedly will be, however at no point did i suggest it would be the best or better than the current winrars. I insult people because it makes my peepee big. @Above I love how you speak as if what you say is in some way correct. You are guessing, just as i am. However my guesses are based on what has been said, not what i have assumed.
  15. It's more like the Godsword for rangers Looks great statwise, sounds good on paper, lots of pretty numbers...but it get's shafted by other weapons in almost every category So what was your max when you used the bow? Or have you not yet? Because you are speaking as if you have tried, tested and dismissed it.

  19. It's a bow, therefore it's 2h. Also, the pricetag on it will likely require a LOT more work than just getting 2m DG exp. Dstone bolts... 99 Range would take minutes with that kind of power and accuracy.
  20. Would you please remove the suggestion for bug abusing? Not bug abuse, confirmed by Jagex.
  21. People will hate me for saying it, but 76king. Yesterday i was barely on RS. I got from 0% EP to 41% ep and then 0 EP to 25% EP 2 times. So that is around 2 hours of EPing. That whole time i was just semi AFK, on YouTube keeping an eye on my HP and just keeping myself logged in. I then tricked, it took me probably 45 minutes to get all of the trios done and my total loot from yesterday was 7m. Breaking that down... 1 Hour for 41% EP. 1 Hour for 25% 2 times. 45 minutes for the tricking itself. Lets call it 3 hours including breaks etc... That is 2.3m per hour. That was with average loot, i could have at any point been lucky and received something like an ancient statuette, VLS or statius warhammer. Infact i death matched a target and he got a VLS from me. Mixed in with farming runs, dailies and flipping/merchanting you could make piles in no time. But of course, the impending wilderness update could ruin this method (depending on how the statuettes/PVP loots are kept in the game). Hope this helps.
  22. Just a quick update... A new method. I don't know if this method loses you EP or not, as i PK on 0% most of the time anyway. So you may want to test it before doing it, if you care about EP. As many of you will have experienced, when you ring of life teleport to lumbridge, all sorts of people will rush you. Dbowers especially, usually risking void and occasionally other more valuable things such as range amulets and rangers. Well, a good thing about Lumbridge castle is that there are 2 entrances to it. Basically, gear up as usual, have auto-retaliate on and run out of the west/back door of Lumbridge castle, attack a giant rat until one hits you back (you need to be in combat with it, as in it attacks you). You then tab/teleport to Lumbridge (can't use house tab, you need to keep your timer). This way, you will be attackable in the safezone and most of the time you will get rushed. Your vengeance and power weapon should do the rest. The bonus to this method is that you can pray before hand, and people think that you have just teleported using ring of life and that there is no danger. Good luck with kills :)
  23. Hi, my last guide was fairly well received, how to kill EPers. This time, i thought i would reverse it and give you all, what i feel is, an improved tactic. Note: I do not claim to have come up with this, but this is my spin on things and how i find works best. Requirements: -A powerful weapon, suggested one of these 3: Korasi sword, claws, dark bow or an AGS -Food -EPing gear (dragon hide, weak weapon such as a dspear) -Super sets/Pray potions -[Optional] Vengeance runes -[Optional] Phoenix necklace -A fairly quick mouse finger The tactic itself: Step 1. Get in some EPer gear and set up your inventory. You want people to believe you are an EPer, but have super sets/prayer potions/your power weapon. My examples: Ignore the bolts, they were loot from my last kill. Replace the sword with your power weapon and remove the vengeance runes if you don't have veng. This gear works well for me, the bonuses aren't terrible and the risk is low. Plus, the dspear can do a pretty good amount of damage when it wants to. Step 2. The method The whole idea of this method is to make people think you are harmless. On rushers, this is VERY easy. They see you as a free kill, not as someone who can utterly destroy them. So, it goes as follows... You set up with vengeance before they attack, if you don't have it don't worry. This means that when you are attacked they will be dealt some good starting damage. Now here is the choice... Step 2 - Choice 1. You can sit there, continually potting and wait to be attacked. This way you will be targetted by generally high risk rushers (often in bandos, claws, fury etc). I suggest to only use this method if you have vengeance, and preferably a korasi sword (hits through their prayer). When attacked, you should vengeance again (so their second attack gets them hit with veng), quickly switch to korasi (or have it weilded when resting) and special them. So, lets say they hit 800 on you. Thanks to your vengeance, you hit them back with 600. Plus a Korasi special, you stand a chance of hitting upwards of max HP. Mixed with ring of recoil, you are doing a very heavy hit almost instantly. With a phoenix necklace, you will almost never die. This can take some work to perfect, but is generally effective after you have developed your own method suited to you. Step 2 - Choice 2. I find this method to be better. There is less waiting around, and more loot. You run up to a random PKer your level, you then say "why the hell did you rush me?". They will simply think you are mistaken and generally will turn around and attempt to kill you. If they put prayer on, i suggest you don't waste your time. So, your veng will hit, veng again and switch to your special attack weapon as soon as they hit around half HP/just under. Quickly special and they will panic like mad. They will generally eat low if you have a weapon, such as a dragon spear. This gives you a huge advantage as you can veng + special attack combo and potentially take them down in under 15 seconds. This guide isn't brilliantly detailed, but i promise you these methods work wonders. I am currently recording, i will make a GIF when possible. Enjoy! Oh.... I'll just leave this here...
