Saunamajuri, you are a [bleep]ing hero for that post. OT: Deaths due to PJers are easily avoided, and it isn't even that much of a problem. They jump in, fail, run away. If you die no one is to blame but you, regardless of what non-existent wilderness etiquette you expect everyone to follow.

but you do post bragthreads on fansites saying you did something insignificant and then call smoeone ELSE a nerd ahaa Oh snap, i do believe he went there. -
It is called Runescape. I remember being able to buy a DFS for 29m then 5 seconds later sell it for 30m. It isn't anything different, or fake. That is the Runescape you've been playing for the past 3 years. Yesterday i made 15m in an hour and 40 minutes of flipping, with a 55.4m cash pile. That is how it should be, the impatient people that will pay any price for a quick monkfish or shark should be funding my profit.

There you go, AGS/Demby. Mask set proof: -
The admins haven't won, tbh. No one trusts them at all, the other sites are getting all their users and now they have practically no members to play with. Good luck to them for not being banned for account hijacking, either. It must be somewhat obvious to Jagex when 40 accounts log in from the same IP address(es) and transfer such huge amounts of gold. I really do hope they get everything they deserve. I can understand why people bot, and honestly i don't think any less of them for it (some people don't enjoy the grinding aspects of the game, which is something i can definitely relate to, just because they are willing to risk their account to avoid it doesn't make me feel cheated). However hackers are the lowest of the low, especially since they hacked the people that have probably made them a lot of money and given them a fair amount of success.

The site wasn't taken down. It is being DDoSed. One of the admins left and started a new botting site due to a lack of pay from the first site. They are both in a DDoS battle to try and steal each other's traffic. Also, it is still unknown who specifically cleaned the accounts. There are multiple admins, no one knows who to trust. By the way, i don't bot/cheat. I am however members on many other forums and love to see the botters getting their rage on :) It is very satisfying.

Be Careful - Fake Donation Requests

He's stupid and tries hard to appeal to 12 year olds. Not entertaining at all. There are a lot of 12 year olds on Runescape, don't forget. -
Is it now neccessary to have a "Staker Name"?
GuidesForScapers replied to chi13's topic in General Discussion
I just think that having a name like that shows you don't want people to see your badass stats, so clearly you have a reason to hide them. Not worth the risk. -
Be Careful - Fake Donation Requests
GuidesForScapers replied to GuidesForScapers's topic in General Discussion
Because he provides a lot of people with entertainment, rarely misses a video and puts a lot of effort in. People want to show appreciation. Just because you don't enjoy his videos or want to give him free stoof doesn't mean others don't. I'd probably pay 500k to get a shout out in a video of his, just for the sake of it. I mean... It is only 500k. -
Be warned, i've seen several players with RSNs such as [Names Removed] etc saying "accepting donations - i am recording". To some of you it may seem like an obvious scam, but i have seen at least 10 people who have donated chunks of cash being taken in by these people. Just a warning for everyone.

People still stake, you just need to wear junk gear when finding duels.

GuidesForScapers replied to Dexek's topic in General Discussion
You have no idea how much i envy you right now -.- You made 120m in the time it took me to get 67 -> 68 defence. I'm jelly. My staking hasn't exactly been a waste, though. I made just under 6m in about 30 mins :) -
Re-investigate the Security-dongle idea
GuidesForScapers replied to Dracae's topic in Questionnaires
Ahh thanks for clarifying :) And RS players shouldn't be given that option because it is unnecessary. Fair enough if Jagex want to improve user security, but wasting a USB port and the money of any user to do so is outrageous, especially since Jagex would profit. If they provided that level of security for free, perhaps they would have more users. I know of a lot of people who have been hacked in the past and quit because of it. -
Thanks for the support :) First stake after the update... Not even 70 defence yet, heh. I'm working on it now, should be done by tomorrow. I bought my own whip, dboots, full veracs, torag gear etc... I'm pretty much sorted once i get 70 defence. EDIT: This guy had claws/fury too :) It is kinda funny that i'm getting all these people angry and careless at rock crabs when they start to steal my crabs :) This one had a right gob on him, too. Same guy, insisted his bad specs on claws were down to luck.

Re-investigate the Security-dongle idea
GuidesForScapers replied to Dracae's topic in Questionnaires
Why then do loads of banks supply them? I find it hard to believe they are that stupid. Banks aren't stupid, they are just trying to make it more simple for the computer-illiterate customers. -
Sadly, this. Face it, there are plenty of over powered things in the wilderness.

Re-investigate the Security-dongle idea
GuidesForScapers replied to Dracae's topic in Questionnaires
It is quite funny to me that people think a security dongle will improve the safety of their account. Rule number 1 of the hackers guide book: If there is something preventing you hacking, find a way around it. If it is updated, find a new way around it. Crypters are available that can, in 10 seconds or less, make a malicious file that is detected by most/all anti-virus softwares undetectable. Crypters are very, very easy to come by if you know where to look (the first site that any starter hacker would come across). People even offer crypting services for $1 or $2. I am 99% certain that the top causes of Runescape accounts being hacked is either people trying to download paid bots for free and getting infected or people trying to access private servers and going on a site that uses a java drive-by to infect them (automatically downloads and runs a program once a java applet is accepted). The first one is easy to avoid, don't be stupid enough to download non-existent things to do something that will get you banned anyway. The second one, just don't be an idiot and go on a private server. I underestand why people would use private servers, and i don't think any less of them for doing so (it's their life, just because i don't doesn't mean other people shouldn't) but if you google "rs private server" and go around accepting every java applet under the sun you are going to get an infection sooner or later. Regardless of how "legit" of a site it seems to be. If you meant major instead of mayor, i think i know what you are talking about. But you don't even need a program to do it, it can just be done through the sites password recovery system. No idea what you are on about with the web browser part, doesn't seem to make any sense to me. Runescape's password protection system is practically flawless, other than being able to remove an email address without access to it... If you set up your account securely it will be secure. If you don't, it won't. A security dongle would not change a single thing, especially if it is a paid luxury. If Jagex genuinely cared about the safety of their users they would offer a free download on the website. A dongle does nothing more than any software could.
